Yes, it's time for another feature-length sales video, something for you to pop on in the background no doubt. Believe it or not, but this is an even more slimline reel of highlights, covering both December and January, and although these aren't the most engaging of videos, it shows what the items I've bought to resell actually sell for.

I really like your videos. You are the most honest and realistic RU-vidr reseller I have come across so far. For that reason I am interested if you have ever tried buying wholesale and what you make of the whole whosale vintage industry. I got taken in by a couple of unboxing videos and then got my fingers badly burned by the rubbish that I received from the very same wholesalers. Anyway please stay honest 👍

Thanks for the kind words Cliff and that’s the very reason I won’t touch wholesale. I’m aware some people do well off it but being a regular customer probably helps their cause. The way I see it, it’s the dregs that wholesalers can’t sell off individually and I’d be anxious spending that much money, not knowing exactly what I’m ending up with. The profit margins just don’t seem very good either, and that’s after sorting through the items that can’t be sold! I say, unless you’re a “known” RU-vidr who gets a good deal to show to the world, they’re best avoided. Even though charity shops can be a struggle, I always prefer to see what I’m buying in person.

Can you do a video on your postage policies please? I've sold quite a few items now but postage etc is eating away at my profits so be interesting to know what postage policy you use. I'm currently using Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed for as i've sold stuff in the past where it wasn't signed for/tracked and the buyer just says they didn't recieve the item so normal 1st class or 2nd class postage hasn't gone well with me in the past

I’m sure I can sort out something postage related, even if it’s part of another video. I bit the bullet late last year and bought a thermal label printer and it’s been great. Royal Mail 2nd Class and Tracked 48 are what I use, for items under £20 and over respectively. I haven’t had many issues at all fortunately, and then for stuff that exceeds the medium parcel limits I use Evri.
