Strasburg Action! Lionel Legacy #31 0-6-0!

OK I think that #90 is either being rebuilt or it is being retired I also heard that they are almost don't with the rebuild of #31

Funny thing I noticed the other day. Lionel’s “William McFarlan” car is incorrectly labeled as a Boston & Maine road name along the top. MTH got it correct with the “Strasburg” Road name along the top.

For my little layout I would like to buy the 0-6-0 and 2-6-0 along with the bobber caboose. They just look great.

Fun fact I talked to one of the steam engineers at Strausburg and he said that all engineers hate the 0-6-0t Thomas loco and 0-6-0 because they weren’t meant to run on the mainline so they are jerky when running on the main.

Thanks for the new 0-6-0 review! The 89 having sound issues?

The 31 project has halted due to funds and is pretty much DOA. When 90 goes down the railroad will have to focus on 89 and 475 only. 8618 will be the backup. Don’t expect 31 to run at any point in the near future. Most likely IF 31 is restored it will be when another engine goes down for a 1472. Until then enjoy the model because that is all you’re gonna have with 31. Fun fact if you hit aux 3 on the legacy remote and then hit the bell it turns it into a fast pace bell which the real 31 had.

Thanks a lot in showing the New Lionel engine and sharing it's history which things more interesting on the lay out. Showing the difference in the MTH cars and Lionel cars is great to show. Showing the details in the passenger cars is awsome. It was nice to see the train navigate through the switches. Missed seeing the smoke coming out of engine 31. Like the smoke coming pouring out engine 89. John

Those seem to be actual SRC employee voices. I recognize the brakeman and engineer's voices, though the other voices might be generic Lionel voices. 31 is currently on and off as time is available, with 1235 taking priority from my understanding.

Great video review of Lionel Legacy #31 0-6-0 switcher, Chris. Nice to see it heading the Strasburg passenger consist. Although I like the orangey red paint colour on the passenger cars, I like the MTH original darker Tuscan red a lot more. Honestly, I don't know which is more proto-typical, it's just a preference. Thanks for the great train run. BTW, what's with the caboose at the end? Just looks odd.

Chris my brother lives in effort PA over by the NASCAR race track is that anywhere where you live or nearby not that I'm trying to stalk you just curious you don't have to answer that's for sure. I just watched JD's number 12 update RBP his top 3 for 2023 And now you're 0 6 0 I have an 0 6 0 from bachman unfortunately it's HO scale she's a good runner . I have to say Lionel makes beautiful l locomotives and tenders when you buy their top-of-the-line I believe in America that are the best overseas I'd have to go Martin which passenger cars did you prefer better Lionel for the MTH. From what I could see the Lionel either way enjoy everything thank you for your time and effort on the video I always enjoy them keep up the good work God bless you and your family I will see you at York

It’s straight up embarrassing that the 90s haven’t shipped yet. You give Lionel your money and it’s essentially an interest free loan for them until you get your product 18 months later.

Chris is 475 still in the shop it is being completely rebuilt am I correct ? and 611 went back to Spencer ?
