Great Western 90 Engine does a full cycle with it's passenger cars at the Strasburg Rail Road. It is a 2-10-0 configuration with a plate indicating Serial Number 57812. You must put this place on your bucket list if you are a railfan!
We travel to Lancaster from NY every 2 months or so, and getting a train ride here is a given. If you are not familiar w the area, the Pa. state railroad museum is across the street. Also just down the street is Cho-Cho barn. Make sure you stop in. It is a huge model railroad layout featuring the Lancaster area...Well worth the money. Also down the block in town is the best ice cream parlor anywhere around.
God,i miss that place so much...i was just a kid when i rode the trains a couple times, then stopped by the museum across the road back in the late 90's/early 2k's. I'd love to go back someday, but i now live in florida.....ugh
My family love trains from the subway to these here. We took our four year old to the museum out there and couldn’t take us out for anything.....beside the train ride 😆 thanks for posting!
I watched this when it happened. OMG! This was an experience to view, especially filling her with water. I just hope I get to see it again in the near future. I might put it on my bucket list, but only if I get to see it be watered. Can’t wait.
