Strasburg steam locomotive in a snowstorm! 

It's a great place to visit

Wow, that's awesome. The only steam train I've been on is the Strasburg RR and it's a 45 minute ride through the Pennsylvania farmland.

@@LongIslandMopars Yeah, the whole trip is one of my favorite memories, we ( my mother and I) were traveling from the deepish south of the south island, to Auckland city in the north island, so after the trip on the train ,we transferred to the inter island ship ( ferry) and had our own cabin for an overnight voyage , the ferry was owned by New Zealand railways , then for the north island leg of the journey, we were on the most luxurious train NZ ever had ( pulled by diesel locos) ,called the Silver Star, we had our own cabin, which was really something in this country. Unfortunately the Silver star, was short lived because it was lined with asbestos, and they got rid of it .Anyway, after our stay in Auckland, we used the same trains, and ship for the journey home ,it was a great experience for a young boy.

@@LongIslandMopars It is a special little country, and I feel, like most places, was better back in the day. I'd like to reccomend a RU-vid video of a NZ steam train ,that does a short run ,similar to your Strasburg RR .The title is " The Kingston Flyer steam train - by drone". 👍
