The new Stratovarius line-up is awesome! Younger members that bring som fresh influences into the band. Legends like Timo who sings really great and seems to be an awesome guy, and Jens who is the best! Keeping the high quality of the band. I think the band has only evolved since Polaris. Was not even too interested before that. I'm sure the new album will be a killer. Long live Stratovarius!
I would say if MATIAS KUPIAINEN composed, or is composing the new album I would expect something FUCKINGMINDBLOWING. This guy is the one with more knowledge in whole stratovarius story, Tolkki did history, but matias reaches more professional levels. Im expecting this album to include mind fucking progressive masterpieces as on the last ones, ELYSIUM IS FUCKING AWESOME!
So you can't be happy and make power metal? I understand it's frustrating wanting to bang out something cosmic and wanting to be able to do that at the speed of thought, but I have heard that all arts are driven by passion, and supposedly, chasing that passion should bring happiness. Maybe that's just myth, I don't know. Or maybe all the work and "complications" suck the fun and (heaven forbid) passion out?
Holy Shit. Onced a great Band (including Timo Tolkki and Jörg Michael) Now?....Just Bullshit. Sorry my Fault!!! The older Releases are much much better. Episode. Destiny. I am sad for you, if you onyl knew about the New releases!
