Also in terms of Sanji and Zoro's bounties, the only reason Sanji wasnt a supernova and doesnt have an equal bounty to Zoro is because Bon Clay was technically captured by the marines and Sanji was referred to as Mr. Prince, as a result while Zoro received his first upgraded bounty in Alabasta, Sanji received his first one in Enies Lobby

People forget Sanji's role is to cook but he contributes almost as much as Zoro in fighting, as a cook compare to swordsman Sanji is very impressive

I’d say even up to this point, Zoro is still stronger than Sanji. It would make sense that way too, even in pre-time skip, Zoro has been stronger and it wouldn’t make sense for him to stay at the same level and Sanji level up to be on an equal playing field.

I've been watching Anime my whole life and finally getting into One Piece after like 15 years of trying. I've been hearing about Zoro v Sanji for years and finally getting to this point, I don't know how it's a debt. Zoro definitely the stronger character and anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves lol

Sanji is really strong and deserves that recognition but he's not on Zoro's level. Zoro is the closest to Luffy in terms of power out of the whole crew, it's still a big gap but he's still second strongest pre- and post-timeskip. Rob tries to hide it behind the things he says but he's a Zoro fan at heart, he just in too deep in the role to admit it, he be finding every excuse to have a conversation about Zoro he says bad things about him so he can hear the others defend him and gas him up coz he can't do it on camera. To me this rivalry is more comedy than anything. In terms of power level, they are close, they have always been close and they probably always will be, but Zoro is without a doubt stronger. At the end of the day, who cares? I don't know where you are in the manga but right now as of chapter 1035, both of them are monsters of their own kind.
