One of my favorite Beatles songs of all time - in my opinion THE iconic representation of the depth and breadth of their remarkable talent as composers, arrangers, and musicians. Strawberry Fields is unique, complex, and so very, very cool. Never did I think it would be possible for one guy with a guitar to recreate the feel and vibe of the Strawberry Fields experience. Until now I guess.

to tell the truth I was very skeptical when clicking on this vid. I thought even grand master Josh Turner could only fail trying to do SFF justice by performing it just accompanying his voice on one guitar . But boy was I wrong! Incredible rendition my friend" Coming from a huge Beatles nerd.

Mr Turner, you are astounding. Many of your brilliant covers (when you use a band) are of course more 'complete', but this....One man with an acoustic guitar takes on one of the greatest (and most complex. highly produced) recordings of all time, and gets so close to virtually every effect on it. 5:10 minutes ago I was thinking the best Beatles cover was We Can Work it out" by Stevie Wonder; from now on I am not sure anymore. That's exactly what I like: every single shred of sound heard in the record, in its right time, duration, tune, timbre (when possible) and more... which is something that not just anybody can do, even if we all heard the same things (I guess...): more than brilliant, probably memorable... my compliments golden kid, it must have not been easy 😊😊😊. From the first video I watched from Josh, over a decade ago by now, there immediately was this sense that he wasn't just a fantastic musician, but also, should I say, "genuine" and "thoughtful". It warms my heart that he's clearly on the frontline in our defense against the poison of generative AI that is about to infest creativity. 5 to 10 years from now, "going analogue" to fight the (digital) cancer might have gained a lot more traction. Right now, it's a reinforcement of my high opinion of Josh. Stay on this path, buddy!
