Strawberry-Fig Butter 

Figs or apples
Water 1/2 the amount of rust you are using
Sugar 1/2 the amount of water you used
Let it simmer for several hours
Use an immersion blender to purée the mixture
Add one package of instant jello (any flavor), I usually use strawberry or raspberry
Stir and pour into hot jars and process them per water bath canning directions!
