TURNED OUT AMAZING 😻 I’m sitting here with their “orchid you not” color on my head and had to see how good it works, my hair was bleached too, can’t wait to see it now lol
The mint turned out a lot better than expected I was 99% sure it just wasn’t even going to show at all so that’s good! Also love the end product!! The colors are so pretty!
Omg! It turned out so pretty!! That’s awesome that the mint actually showed up that well 😱 I just dyed my hair with their prismatic purple color, it’s a great product
The prismatic purple is a little too blue on my hair. I think I'm going to go get a darker purple to mix in. I think as it fades it's kinda looking torquoise. 🤷🏼♀️
Thank you so much! And yeah, I don't expect the mint color to last more than 1 or 2 washes. I do think it's neat and unique, but not something that is easily (or cheaply) maintained, unfortunately.
Im sure if she started on a white canvas the mint would show up better. Pink and green cancel each other out so thats probably why it looks more a whitish mint than mint Otherwise everything else is so cute and fun :]
I was here for it and you rock! Love how fun your video was. I just got the prismatic purple. Read you can use it to tone yellow and orange. Done it before with other colors. Really need to dilute it if used to tone. So now I'm prismatic purple. Wasn't going that route but I almost feel cornflower blue. Unsure if it's more purple or blue. I did love how they don't stain your skin and are easy to wash out. I'd def get again.
They do have a yellow one now. I just bought one online. I love Good Dye Young’s Sunshine Yellow. But ordering from their site has expensive shipping for where I am. Sally’s does carry them now which is good but no yellow one on their site when I bought it. So I’m trying SL’s one and I picked up an Arctic Fox neon yellow color too. I never tried SL but I do love AF so I got their yellow too you know as a safe backup from a brand I’ve used for years and love. SL is also cheaper then both AF and GDY so if they end up working out for me, that’s awesome. I hope Sally keeps their stock of semi hair dye brands cause getting them directly from their main site is so expensive. I am willing to use different brands as long as they’re fantastic and works well. It’s just so much cheaper to get them from a place like Sally’s or even Sephora where their shipping isn’t usually ridiculous and easy to get
@@haileyfields7179 it did just offically launch october 1st, but if a store got it before then they were allowed to place it on the shelf and sell it. The stores in Abilene Texas had them half way through September.
I was waiting too see someone use this! I saw these maybe a month or so ago at my local Sally's but didn't pick it up. I needed to go with something I knew would work for a particular idea I had
I just used this brand and it's the worst I've used so far . I used lilac n some spots of my hair it didn't even dye at all n where it did it was extremely light so I'm actually getting ready to go back in Sally to get something else. And yes I used just as it said I even left it an extra 10 minutes.
Idk what happens but I bought prismatic purple one, bc a friend of mine used it and look like a dark blue and I try it ( I had some like blue-ish aqua tone bc I didn’t bleach it) but it turned out like blue steel one idk why but I’m satisfied with ir one of the best dye hairs I used
You know, I was looking and their website recently and noticed that Prismatic Purple is actually not even listed with the purples but is next to the blues. Kind of funny and odd they'd put purple in the shade name if it's more of a blue tone 🤔 It is pretty though
I actually ordered online last night and picked up today at my local Sally. I got the Foxy because I wanted to go red again (doing a little blonde on the underside for contrast).
That sounds awesome! I'm always hesitant to use red myself(I don't like how most fade to an orange/copper tone). I'd be very interested to know how it works for you(and also how it fades, if it turns into more of a pink I might give it a try myself!)
@@NemoNebulous you definitely have to know what products to use when having red hair. The Joico shampoo/conditioner for red hair is great along with a color depositing conditioner like Viral or Keracolor.
How do you feel darker colors will pick up Over dark hair? I got merlot and I have medium brown hair. Hoping it will make a nice wine color without bleaching
I just bought the lilac glow today! The worker told me how it's not fully released yet and said if I use it I'm not allowed to tell people the brand name lmao. Idk if that's a marketing trick but it worked
Interesting! I was just told it was very new by the Sally's employee who checked me out. I am in a Facebook group where some Sally's employees were saying that it's not actually supposed to be on display/shelves until October 1st and they were told to keep hush-hush, but many Sally's have them out already and I just checked their website and it's available for online orders. I think it was intended to stay a secret until next month but evidently not all Sally's were informed of that so maybe they said screw it and just decided to put it on the website? Lol idk but it's definitely not a secret at this point 😅
I used to work at sallys and a lot of the times we’ll get products before we receive our advertisement signs for them so we’re told to put them out so we can at least sell them in the meantime instead of leaving them in the back. They just want money. Also pro tip when going to sallys. ALWAYS ask for them to check your rewards. Because we’re told not to check unless the customer asks. I always did anyways because so many customers would have built up rewards they didn’t even know about.
@@NemoNebulous lol yes definitely seems like a soft reveal or something! I heard the October thing as well! Your video was the only results I could even find online! Kinda cool to have something so new like that!
I actually posted a video updating on how these colors faded if you want a more detailed explanation and to visually see what happened, but in short, the pink was gone after a single wash, the mint lasted for a couple washes, and the blue and purple lasted longer and looked nice as they faded
@@NemoNebulous ok great cause I’ve been debating on testing it out but I’m little nervous since I haven’t seen anybody post about it I’ve search everywhere and no one has used it yet
Using cold water to rinse out color does shit😹 It’s miserable. You’re not proper washing your hair. And it literally make zero difference. Just use warm water. It’s not worth using cold water if it doesn’t wash your hair properly, it’s not comfortable and it doesn’t work anyways
🤓 I was clueless about all the blues cause there’s soo many ( *searching for my color* ). _Periwinkle_ is reminiscent of _Loyal Blue_ . I’d also say it’s more vibrant than dark. _Blue Steel_ , now that’s dark. I’m not as familiar w Arctic Fox like most (fandom) but I am becoming more acquainted w Strawberry Leopard. I -like- prefer getting concentrated colors and diluting myself. I’m also into mixing. The issue w that is knowing the base tone. What’s it going to look like after it’s bled out and how difficult will it be to get that same color? Too many variables! 😫 And this whole time I’m spending my (very limited) money! I got Shrine (Drop It) in _Aqua_ , a turquoise… it ends up being this ugly dark blue, not vibrant turquoise! Anyways, going to try Strawberry Leopard _Orchid U Not_ tonight. Applying it over top of remnants of Strawberry’s _Foxy_ , both being diluted down with conditioner, of course. Thank you for your reviews! And making me laugh! 🥸
