Strawberry Pie Best Pie
Filling:
Sugar - 100 g.
Butter - 30 g.
Strawberries - 600 g.
Corn starch - 20 g.
Dough:
Egg - 1 pc.
Salt - 1 g.
Sugar - 80 g.
Butter - 100 g.
Baking powder - 4 g.
Flour - 280 grams
Bake at 180°C for 25 - 30 minutes
Pour sugar into a saucepan and allow to caramelize completely over medium heat. Add butter and mix well. Add strawberries. Simmer briefly, stirring, and add starch. Mix the mixture quickly and well and remove from heat. If desired, turn the mixture into a puree and set aside until it cools. For the dough, beat one egg along with sugar into a bowl until smooth. Add sifted flour and baking powder. Mix well. Grate the cold butter and mix with the flour. Line the bottom of the pan with parchment and pour out most of the dough. Distribute evenly over the pan. Prick the dough with a fork. Pour the prepared strawberry filling on top and sprinkle with the remaining dough. Place the pie in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 180’C. The pie is ready. Bon appetit.
