Strawberry Smell - Episode 23
Asli (Demet Ozdemir) is a young and beautiful girl who works at a pastry shop and loves making delicious cakes. While she is delivering a strawberry birthday cake to the customer, she is involved in a car accident and ruins her cake.
The person who is driving the car is Burak (Yusuf Cim), a famous womanizer belonging to a rich family. They start discussing from the moment they bump into each other and wish not to see each other again.
Since Asli could not deliver the birthday cake, she is fired as soon as she goes back to the pastry shop. She becomes so desperate and does not know how to a find a new job again.
At that time, her friend Gonca (Zeynep Tugce Bayat) who is working at the same pastry shop accepts the job offer that she has taken from a big hotel in Bodrum. She persuades Asli to go to Bodrum together so that they could earn enough money while working in the hotel during the high season.
Next day, Asli and her friend Gonca fly to Bodrum and unfortunately, find out that the hotel where they are going to work has been closed. While they are wondering where to stay, they find a 5-star hotel whose new owners are about to recruit new personnel.
So, Asli and Gonca decide to apply for a job in that hotel and stay there if they are hired. However, Asli does not know that the owner of the hotel is Burak whom she never wants to meet again. Their lives intersect once more.
In strawberry smell (cilek kokusu) tv series story, you will watch the lives of teenagers and see a relationship of opposite characters. Will Asli and Burak get along with each other very well? Will Asli forget her platonic love and start to fall in love with Burak? Will Burak find true love after he has gone out with many girls?

When Volkan plotted with Chala in a future episode against Asli with Asls drawing, I lost respect for Volkan. Volkan changes later but it is too late.

I love that they got their happy ending but it was all so abrupt. It would've been nice to see more of Volkan and Banu. I really wanted their story to develop and also to learn who was chasing her and why she was so mysterious. I really wanted to know what had happened to Başak in the past. What had Nihan and Selda done to her? Why had she been in jail? What was the source of her funds? This last episode was just too rushed. They should've done 2 or 3 more.

@seetayounan1965 Me too! It was so frustrating because it would have been really good to know. Also, it really bothered me that Nihan physically assaulted Başak and basically got away with it, and it was never addressed.

Nihat and Selda had a deep hatred for Basak and for people less fortunate or as she would say low class. They appeared to believe that all low class people wanted money. Even though the story does not describe how or what they did to get rid of Basak, I believe they set her up as if she stole money, and had her incarcerated, making it look as though she abandoned her Volkan and Eda.

Very good script. Burak ego felt hurt because Asli did not ask or take his financial help, but she did from another who is he and his family's enemy. The writers wanted us to hate Seda, when Nihat is the wolf in sheep's clothing, great script, bravo!

I think Burak’s father did something underhanded to Basak. Decided not to do the same thing to his son. Elder brother thinking he was doing the right thing for his brother Sinai. It was the hate of thinking status and money were more important than love.

Yes, I wanted to see more on the 3 months leading upto the wedding. How did Selda and Nihat adjust to Asli and her mother, did they recognize how good Asli truly was? They seemed happy at the wedding. And Chagla, why is she at Asli and Burak's wedding? Asli shouldn't have let that evil girl come within a mile of her wedding.

Yeah, its very rushed. Maybe the series got cancelled and they had to wrap everything in a bow as fast as possible. But i agree soooomany subplots are unexplored. Basak and Sinan, Gani and Burak, cagla and gani toxic relationship that is abou to Start, Volkans emotions for Asli are deffinitely not disappearing over night, and solo much more....

This is so true. This series was made in 2015 and Yusef and Demet were a couple so acting was not acting, it was real. I love to dedicate my personal feelings with songs so for Burak and Asli, I dedicate Mini Rippertons song. "Loving You." The song is old but it describes Burak to the "t".

I really admired Volkan's Character he choose to sacrifice everything just to see Asli's happiness. I wish there would be a season 2for this movie, where Volkan and Banu gets closer and in love to each other. HAHAHA I thought there's another episode after this, I thought there's more difficulties where Asli should strive for it. But questions are still here for me... Like that teddy bear that Eda’s mom gave her on her birthday without anyone knowing whom it came from so the mom could spy on them? 🤔 No one ever found out about it. And then.... what was the point of this Vulcan and Eda’s mom doing all the lying and spying? All of a sudden she becomes nice?? Where did all her money come from? And where was she really all those years? So supposedly Burkas father got rid of her from what Buraks mom kind of slipped out when talking to Cagla but still doesn’t make any sense.....🙄 AND.... what happens with Ashli’s mom and the chauffeur? I wanted to see them at least start dating! ☹️ but nothing.... Oh! And what was the point of the new girl, the art classmate of Asli’s? She came on towards the last few eps and she was running away from some guys and it was like a mystery about her but then.... Nothing came from her intro. Was the dram supposed to last longer and it got cut short? I thought there would be more drama so I was shocked that this is it. The last episode. Oh and also the intro to the drama, the song intro... what was the point of showing those two little girls... I thought Maybe they would become Asli’s and Buraks girls but again.... nothing. 😨

Quite a good review.. One of the best Turkish teen drama I have seen so far. I fast forward the first time watching and missed out on vital dialogues but had the chance to watch again through all scenes. Beautiful acting by all. First drama with no screaming and Cagla's scheming was tolerable. Love Asli and Burak..they played their scenes so well. Burak was so tender and romantic.. Demet studied her character role well. Love her in room 309. Volkan is so sweet. Love how they include hidden talents ..Conja and her singing. Developed a love for turkisk songs especially Boray's. Kudos to the producer and team

One of the best Turkush series. Handsome YUSUF and beautiful DEMET, great actors and you can see that the love was real. So sorry, that the ending was so quickly done. In less than 15 minutes ASLI left to the airport, BURAK's proposal, the wedding and that's it. Still love it👌🥰❤💘💝💖

Watching this series for several.times already. I cant get over it. Its beautiful! Love the light love story. I wish there will be a season 2. I' d like to see Azli and Burak have little children .They would be all cute. I'd like to see Nihat and Selda loving their beautiful grandchildren! ❤It would be wonderful❤They would be a gorgeous family. Volcan has a kind heart! Hope he would find the right girl for him. How about that friend of Eda? ❤I think it would suit him. Brother Halil and Emel ,nice couple, they have their love story and so with Gonca and Erdem! Theyre so funny! Example of being real good friends! I love them too! Cagla and Gani! Ha ha ha ❤ Sinan, very good looking ❤ and Elcin very pretty❤ Congrats to all the staff for their excellent production!❤❤❤❤❤❤

Sinan is too handsome to be true. I hope Çağla has a good life with Gani. Elçın, r u sure Çağla is your daughter? Eda, I hope u grow up to be a beautiful mind lady and when the right time comes, the right man will follow. Selda, I start love you at the end of this scene. Nihat, you looks happy over the moon now. Gonca and Erdem, you are both the precious friends that everyone needs in the whole world. Halil, you played an important role of this series, you brings Asli and Burak closer and closer. Emel and Şükran, both of you did the wrong move with Asli but you changed your mind later, good on you both. Volkan, I respect you man. You are actually is the hero of this series at the end. Well done. Last but not least, Asli and Burak, love can conquer everything. It depends how much is your love and how deep is your love. I repeat, how much is your love and how deep is your love.

I like what you wrote. Yes, Burak was a wild rich kid in the beginning but he never jeopardized Asli. He was not pretentious about his love for her and gave up his family and money for her. Yes, I also think that he had a sort of breakdown because his father Nihat who played games with his own son's life, to get him to hate Asli like Nihat did with his brother Sinam against Bashak.

My second time to watch this, I can't help myself but stay awake til 4am just to watch the next episode...when watching this you you'll smile and cry and your day will not be complete if you missed watching continuously... Love the story so much, all the characters played their roles so well .. I can watch it all over again ..
