I am glad you enjoyed the performance! Felix (“blondie”) isn’t actually the leader. He was, however, in charge of the introduction for this stage. Usually the 3 dance members are in charge of introductions/transitions for their award show performances (like how Lee Know did the intro for LALALALA in this performance). Felix has amazing stage presence in this performance and his deep voice makes it so his parts are always distinct, so you are totally valid for thinking that. Also, you’re right about handheld mics versus headset mics being a preference. Generally a handheld mic has better audio quality than a headset mic, so rappers and main vocalists will use them, however it comes at the expense of the choreography. There are 3 members who have only used hand mics since Stray Kids debuted (technically the 3 rappers but they also have some vocal parts), but one by one the other members have been adopting them. I think it’s because Stray Kids have been touring a lot and their concerts have a mix of choreographed performances and more “free” performances where they walk around the stage and interact with the audience. They always perform live including every song at their concerts, so they probably prefer having better audio whenever they can to having both hands free for choreography. Felix is currently the only member still using a headset mic for concerts and other performances (which makes sense because he is originally a dancer, also he might feel having both hands free adds to his stage presence). I heard his voice loud and clear in this performance, so he could also feel that there is no real benefit for him. About the clown masks the background dancers were wearing… they are a reference to the music video for that song (LALALALA). One of the many things that make Stray Kids stand out to me is their ability to put on hype performances. For me, groups who make self produced/written music always seem to have more fun when performing (just based on what I observed). Stray Kids particularly have the ability to make you feel like you are there in person through the screen with their energy. They also have a live band with them on tour which brings the energy to another level in concert performances.

Stray Kids’ production skills are impressive. With over 180 songs to their credit you will find a lot of great music. Looking forward to more Stray Kids’ reactions.

The last song (Lalalala) was from the latest banger album call "Rock-Star", another no-skip album that been trending on Billboards Top 100 this month. Fun Fact. Our Leader is Bang Chan, Australian. Felix (Australian) was on his way to being trained just like him when Chan chose him, so in a different multiverse he very well could have been the leader of his own group.

Felix prefers not to hold a mic. :) He likes his hands free. He centers a lot because of his signature deep voice, but Chan is the leader, the one with the great high notes. But the boys rotate who leads which song, and they're all equal in status. They also all take part in writing their music, though the main composers/lyricists/producers are Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han (3racha).

oh they like to prove to the haters that their mics are on. Stage presence is off the charts. SKZ are totally different to other groups in the industry. the fact that JYP let Bang Chan (leader in the beanie) choose his members. They write and produce so much would recommend checking out some pf the unit performances 3Racha (Production/Main Rap - Bang Chan, Changbin & Han), DanceRacha (3 main dancers- Lee Know, Hyunjin & Felix) VocalRacha (2 main vocalists Seungmin & I.N). All 8 can sing/Rap/Dance. This was proven at a fan event when they swapped track, on the Oddinary album they split the group in 2 for 2 track - Waiting for Us (ballad) and Muddy Water (rap). VocalRacha took on Changbin and Han's rap lines in Muddy Water. just loook up fan sign muddy water Han is known as the 4th Gen All Rounder.

Felix gets really in the zone when he performs so he doesn't like the hand-held unless it's a different kind of vibe for the performance. There have been many occasions where shenanigans ensue during a performance and Felix is oblivious unless it happens *right* in front of him and disturbs him specifically. 😂

First, the leader Bang Chan (black beanie) was allowed by JYP to hand pick all of the members himself. They were not placed together in a traditional way, by the company. Second all of them are all arounders. They can all sing, rap, dance, produce and write. Third, they have written and produced about 99% of their music. Numbers of songs each member has copyrighted according to Korean Music Association numbers so far... KOMCA numbers... Bang Chan 180 (#3 in KPop) Changbin 152 (#11) Han 148 (#12) Hyunjin 22 Felix 21 Seungmin 19 I.N 19 Lee Know 17 While they can all do everything they do have 3 different subunits... 3Racha... Bang Chan (main beat maker), Chang Bin and Han which are the main producers and writers. They are always credited as 3Racha 3Racha won their first award for their production and writing work at this show... Asian Artists Awards for Best Creator. Danceracha... Lee Know (he is a former backup dancer for BTS and in charge of leading dance practices), Felix and Hyunjin Vocalracha... Seungmin and I.N While the songs are hype they always have significant meaning to them. Their lyricism is always insane. Since they are so experimental their sound has its own genre and they have a very diverse discography. Example... Gods Menu, Back Door and Case 143 all completely different sounds. Stray Kids always brings the energy. They are always easy to spot in a crowd. There are videos of them standing up and dancing around at their table while other acts perform to show their support. They almost broke their table at one point. You can see it start to tip over in one clip 😂😂 Meanwhile almost everyone else is just sitting there bobbing their heads. Stray Kids are the biggest hypemen in the industry lol. They love seeing everyone success and love supporting other idols. Even though Chan (black beanie) is the leader he likes hanging back and letting his kids shine. You'll notice he hardly had any lines. He gives a lot of his parts away these days to give the others more line and does the majority of the adlibs in the background.

Energy + Vibe + Amazing = Stray Kids you mentioned about spending so much time in their performance, you should check out the actual mv to LA LA LA LA. The mv has references: clowns - Dark Knight, pirates - Pirates of Caribbean...but that's just typical of Stray Kids, so many things going on in their mv's. Always! Cool and impressive transitions. They are my favorite.

I would say, (my thoughts) is Hyunjin, Lee Know and Felix (Aussie and deep voice) are more dance-focused, since they use headpieces, whereas Han, Changbin, and Bang Chan (our Leader and second Aussie) are the rap line so mics is a better choice. I can't speak for the Vocalists Seungmin and I.N. In this case, only Felix has a headpiece so Again my thoughts and guess it is the member's choice as they all rap sing, and dance 🫶

No, "blondie" is not the main member!😂😂 His name is Felix. Each member of this group is so individually, ridiculously talented. There are no words. Their LEADER is Bang Chan, the oldest member and main producer, along with Seo Changbin and Han Jisung, also known as 3Racha. The story of Stray Kids' beginning is one for the ages, and once you know it, you will never forget it, or them.

Just going to make a short version of the answer. (Though given how Felix looks so Dominant on stage I don't blame you for thinking he's the leader. 😂 ) Felix does sometimes use a hand mic but I think his choice depends on the performance and songs. He has a disc issue with his back due to a past injury. So between his vocal range and physical health, I guess it just depends. Thankfully his back doesn't seem to effect his passionate career. And the group always does stretching exercises before they perform, so he's definitely keeping his endurance in check. Bang Chan or Chris, is the leader. He's the one in the beanie that looks like it has ears on it. I recommend watching their studio videos. Completely goes into leader and work mode, but still shares little laughs with his members so they don't stress. 😊

"Blondie" is not the "main member" and his name is Felix, there are no main members in Stray Kids, they are all just members of Stray Kids and are all equal. Chan who has golden reddish hair is the leader as he chose all of the members of Stray Kids and writes and produces most of the songs along with members Changbin and Han which are also known as 3Racha who also are a subgroup who are well known rappers in South Korea.
