Stray Kids: "All In" Reaction

I've mentioned before that SKZ's main Korean storyline involves two versions of SKZ operating in parallel universes -- and I've mentioned that the Japanese storyline continues/mirrors this. The two versions of them both appear in All In: one set of criminals, one set of cops. The instant scene changes where they're in different outfits but the setting and moves are the same is the two sets of them flipping back and forth. And if you watch the scene in the van closely, the criminal set are happy and partying because they got away with it, while the cops in the exact same positions and setting are upset and empty-handed. Also, their Captain Hook, whom I've mentioned before, is in this during the poker scenes. He's a recurring element throughout their videos and story and is a constant in both the Korean and Japanese universes, which helps tie them together.

Hyunjin has been a rapper since predebut fyi.

So the backstory for this song is that JYP himself wanted to create a track for their Japanese debut but was a little nervous about approaching SKZ since they are self produced and largely left alone by the company (creatively, I mean). He talks about this with the members is their intro video to ALL IN (on youtube, also look for fan made JYP low key scared of stray kids-so funny). He nervously texted them after he let them have the track and he was surprised at how quickly they put the lyrics and production together and resent him their finished product. Even JYP himself was in awe of their talents. Anyway, just wanted to share this with you all. Don't know if you are open to suggestions but SKZ, since they are self produced, releases INTRO videos to all their comebacks. It might help to watch those as a reaction or on your own before you dive into their discography. Intro vid, TT reaction following by b-side MVs, repeat..... SKZ has soo much content that its nice to go this route so you you can see the evolution of their artistry. Oops went on too long, sorry!

Stray Kids have a comeback this March and a trailer for the album dropped yesterday, hope you guys can check it out, it's has a bit of skz's storyline mixed in it but I think you can still get the very basic feeling of what is happening in the trailer.

Hyunjin tends to take the main rap roles along with Han for their Japanese releases (TOP, Scars, All In) and Changbin the lead rap, where generally Hyunjin is a lead rapper. He is a rapper, however since you’re fairly new, a lot of the songs you’ve seen are a good split between his vocals (Red Lights/Winter Falls/24 to 25) and his rapping (Back Door/Miroh etc). A lot of newer Stays coming on in the NoEasy era are like “Hyunjin raps??” And it’s always adorable to see bc it uses to be “Hyunjin sings?” Bc since debut he rarely had vocal lines at all.

Can’t wait til you guys get to red lights and see Erin and jds rxn to bangchan and hyunjin. Such a sexy mv lol. Don’t know if they’ll survive lol. Oh also hyunjins dance cover to Billie eilish. He does contemporary! Good luck Erin lol. And as Jenny is the bias collector she’ll die in all vids regardless lol. 😉
