After some time, this was most stays analysis after watching the Ex music video: Chan - Self Hatred (looking in the mirror and trying to drown himself) Minho - Binge Drinking (reference to alcohol) Changbin - Suffering from Mental Health Issues (blue paint is a reference to Changbin’s song “streetlight” where blue paint represents the blue tree project, which raises awareness for mental health) Hyunjin - Trying to fix/build pieces that are already broken Jisung - In Denial (pretending the person is still there and then realizing they are gone) Felix - Laying in front of train tracks (suicide attempt) Seungmin - depression (can’t bring himself to do anything) Jeongin - eating as a coping mechanism (birthday cake represents something you’d normally share with someone special but he’s alone) You can take this off your channel if it’s a little sensitive but I think the boys did a good job with conveying the different emotions one may go through when having to face a break up or some other regret that a person has. The boys make me proud to be a stay because of the amount of dedication and detail they put into their craft. I truly find it remarkable that they could comfort millions of people who have felt these difficult emotions at some point in their lives. (I did get this information from other stays who have helped spread this analysis of the mv so the list is something that has been shared multiple times)
I’ve also read a comment about how han’s is finding familiarity in a scent of someone or something you love, but eventually realising that none of it works even though every piece is laid before him because the person is now gone :(
@@wishy0325 yeah so i think lee know was also trying to kill himself but he wants to cause as less pain as possible since he's already in pain from depression or, if talking about the break up, then he's already in pain from the break up
Ex is actually a super depressing song. In the end, you’d think they are happy but its actually them being crazy. The break up, drove them out of their minds which led them into a fake sense of happiness.
@@miriamlagomarsino9770 omg I didn't even realized. And I even watched the video of him reacting to it lol. I wish he reacted to the live performance instead tho
“ ANY “ grabs your attention from the first listen, and it’s a song that does not have a killing part cuz every part is a killer part. “ EX “ deep lyrics with deep filling and you get goosebumps with every word of it. “ GOD’S MENU “ it’s just a stray Kids made for them no one can copy them.
If you like more songs like this (Ex), that kinda grab ahold of your heart strings bit, I'd suggest "Voices" and "Streetlight" (One of my absolute favorites, it talks about mental health, written by Changbin.)
Ex is written by Bang Chan and Changbin, the self-proclaimed "bad boys" of Stray Kids haha Chan said in a live that in Ex, they were the ones who hurt who they're singing for. (PS: Chan and Changbin were both popular in high school, they got a lot of confessions and gifts together with Felix, Lee Know, Seungmin, and Hyunjin. I think they got inspo somewhere from there lol). Changbin is the best writer of love songs in SKZ even though they don't write love songs often. Stray Kids has this "project" called "SKZ-RECORD" and "SKZ-PLAYER" where they release covers and self-written solos or duets here in RU-vid and VLive. If you're looking for something heart-wrenching, I suggest "I don't want to admit" by Bang Chan, "HaPpY" and "Wish You Back" by Han, "Little Star" by Hyunjin (it's about his dog Kkomi) and Streetlight by Changbin. Changbin also has a cute love song with Felix entitled "Because I Like You" and a draft (which they probably won't drop anytime soon...) named "Sorry for Liking You." My personal favorite Record is "Piece" by Seungmin and Changbin! Records and Players are a great way to see the colors of SKZ individual members and it would be nice if you would check them out! Love your reactions btw, you're so genuine and what you're saying makes sense haha
Love your explanation so detailed 😍 and also the "self-proclaimed bad boys of skz" we all agree we don't believe that, but let's just clown ourselves for them 🤡 😂
"this type of genre normally not my cup of tea, this is not the type of music i listen to. But skz find a way to get me interested, they get me to take my first step into the door..... And after they get me into the door, i can't go back" SAME D, SAME! I SECOND THIS CUZ I'VE BEEN THERE BEFORE 😭
Any is actually a diss track for changbin bcause he always said anything when the members asked him what he want to eat but after that he complained >.< Actually any is referred to anything but also in korean ani means no. Yeah. Describe changbin perfwctly
if you love phobia and ex, then you might like on track, neverending story, voices, i am you, levanter, insomnia, and maybe 3rd eye (i really love their vocals here)
You should react to Stray Kids’ Neverending Story Live Stage can also be the actual soundtrack (but i prefer the live stage bcuz ear candy) . It’s their first OST for a Kdrama( Extraordinary You) and it is a love song. When you hear skz do a love song expect that it is written by Changbin or he mainly participated in making those just like EX 😆😆😆
@@euigeonqram8122 yeah I know I think he forgot ahahahaha but the first song he ever reacted to from skz was never ending story on his pattern he said it
Thank you for this! Waiting for the second part! ❤ Any is such a bop song, maybe not everyone's cup of tea but it's really catchy for me especially the tongue twister part "So many so many any anything ani aniya ya" the use of wordplay of Ani (Means "no" in Korean) and Any is so genius!!!❤ "Ex" the Korean title translates to "crazy bastard" which is like a curse word in KR🤣 changbin wrote it and they kept teasing Chan that he wrote the second verse which has the lyrics of "I admit I look at another person while we're together and that's my sin" 🤣❤ stays thought that Ex is a hyped and diss track song because of the title but turns out its a softer and emotional one🤣❤
You should listen to more of their rock versioned songs like 3rd Eye, Awaken, Mirror, District 9. As well as Chronosaurus. Normally I wasn’t into rock, but these songs were so good it changed my entire aspect of it.
You are so right!!! 💯 I can totally relate to what you said, they really do have a way of getting you interested, taking that hesitant step and getting you thru that door...their songs, choreo, their incredible talent, visuals, etc... and so on...and so on!!!! You get mesmerized. I really enjoy watching your reactions to their videos!!! You should react to some of their Dance Practice videos (DOMINO, EASY, DOUBLE KNOT and MIROH), those videos just reveals more of their undeniable dancing skills! 💥🔥
Yes, that rabbit hole is real regarding Stray kids. I’ve never been a fan or in fandom before. However, I’ve liked many artists, but now I stand with the Stray Kid. I didn’t like Kpop before because I didn’t understand it. But now look where I am now.
A long time ago (when the Stray Kids were still trainees), Henjin gave Changbin an idea for a song. Please find the lyrics of the song "if"(3racha) and react to it. In my opinion, it is similar to "Ex" (to which Changbin also wrote the lyrics, mostly)
I’m glad I waited to watch this until today, bc it’s GM’s 1 year anniversary. So it’s fitting for the occasion seeing that you reacted to it for the 2nd time :) I’m happy to see you delve more into their discography and seeing how much you adore them! Thank you for the reaction, can’t wait until the next set of songs❣️
Please react to the RECORDS and PLAYERS of them, they are songs they write for Stay, covers, or intense songs written by them to enjoy, this songs are very special for the fandom and bet that you will like them!
Ex is not fully like a Love Song cause it can also meant for a friend or your inner self. And that's what I love about Stray Kids, there song is for everyone and everything.
Changbin best composer for love song! Anyways a little fan fact about God's Menu: the song at the time wasn't the title track for GO Live album (it wasn't even in the album) but Hyunjin listened to it and said that this was it and quickly the group decide to make it the title song for their first full length album. For the next reaction I suggest to react to "Hello Stranger" that it's an OST for a web drama (Pull out boy!)... anyways I would reccomend the whole discography of Stray Kids, they are fantastic
Neverending Story is a beautiful OST they did for the kdrama “Extraordinary You”. There is no mv, but there is a live performance you can watch: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0Dk-27B5Uzg.html
If you love calm music i guess you wil love Nevereneding story by them I ll wish you back by han and other skz record and Mixtape SONGS but skz rap a lot hahahhaha
Thank you for your reactions Could also check out their album intro videos It's a must watch You could watch according to the albums you react to Like now you could check out the IN LIFE album intro video
Try neverending story and on track (if you haven't listen to it) and I'm a stay and exo-l omg you got yourself a new subscriber i love your reactions!!
Thank you please react to live performance of never ending story by stray kıds. I don't think it's on there album but I might be wrong. It's a beautiful vocal and lyrics song.
