So Back Door basically means that Stray Kids is telling us to come through the 'back door' and actually see/witness/get to experience them properly. It's a continuation and upgrade of God's Menu.

The song isn't about robbing a bank. Actually, during their live unveiling, they said the song, "Back Door" is about how their fans(STAY) are the "authorized personnel" allowed to "enter through the back door". Meaning that they are always there for their fans/STAYs can come into their open arms whenever, wherever and for whatever reasons(be it for comfort, advice, or happiness).THEY LOVE STAY SO MUCH(""": The over-arching story is long and hard to explain, but basically they escaped from District 9(society itself),a place that groomed them to all be the same and they went on a journey to find who they really are.(The story progresses over the music videos, so to understand it better, you might want to watch all their m/vs in order.)Now in "Back Door", they are returning to District 9 to free all the other inmates(the people wearing white in the mv) from society('s rules on who they should be). They also flip a switch multiple times during the coarse of the song, and every time they switch the lights back on, more inmates appear in the background. They have to keep switching the lights on again because the gentlemen from the "MIROH" mv switch the lights off. I think they want the lights off so they can break the inmates out under the cover of darkness. If you look in the background, the men and the NiziU(a new Japanese girl group under JYP)members are present from the beginning of HAN's rap. And the girls can be seen wearing white clothes during Felix's rap. I speculate that the inmates are their fans(STAY) and they've come to rescue us and teach us that we are more than what society makes us/tells us we are and that we are free to choose our own path in order to find ourselves.(Hence another one of their songs called "Road Not Taken".) They don't even have a fixed music "genre". Their genre is their own(which they call "Mala" meaning "spicy".)that no one else can copy.(Which is one of the messages behind their last comeback song, "GOD's MENU"). To summarize, their concept is "rejecting what society says you are and taking your own path in order to find your true self". And they are there to guide STAY on our journey buy providing banger songs with meaningful lyrics, advice and comfort during live interactions and happiness and hope with virtual hugs and encouraging/warm words. They actually have a storyline within their mvs Starting from Hellevator. Basically in District 9, they were all stuck in a facility that represents society and throughout Skz comebacks, we see how they break out and explore. In Levanter, they find themselves and are ready to take on the world. So I think God's Menu was their preparation as we saw them preparing for races, preparing and cooking food and testing experiments. That would represent themselves getting ready to go back to District 9 facility and break out all the people in the white hoodies and free them from that toxic world. Throughout Back Door MV, we see that they keep distracting the rest of the people and there's a security in the background that keeps turning off the lights. We see Skz turning them back on and what not until they finally were able to free those that were imprisoned. That's why we see them celebrating in the end and then it was all empty. They succeeded and freed everyone :)

personally, my favourite part is the outro where they return back to the groovy instrumental and they’re just dancing, no singing. i don’t know why, but it’s just so clean, so satisfying, and very pleasing to watch. it’s almost like we’re winding down slowly but surely from how hype we got just a moment ago. they’re finishing the song off cleanly, and finally shutting that back door.
