I guess it all depends on Tommy Hilfiger... I really don't know what to expect from them, you know? Aftet all, they make VERY casual clothing which often utilize extremely 80s/90s colorblocking print styles. Needless to say, I was surprised to not only discover that's who they were going in support of... a non luxury brand. Specially when you consider several of them are ambassadors for many of the truly elite in the industry. I'm was EVEN MORE surprised when I discovered the theme. Honestly... I'm worried as all hell. Lol I truly wonder if it wouldn't have just been better to have the members who are with said elite brands go under those brands individual invites, as I know darn well those brands would insure the theme is done justice. Meanwhile, when it comes to TH, not only am I surprised this is their sponsor for the event, but nervous about whether they actually have the ability of put them in something that is unique... but at the same time, not boring OR over the top. Something that stands out whilst still fifitting in. After all, this isn't just about the met gala or TH, it's also about our SKZ. I hope they take into account who they are as a group. Such as their own signature and esthetic personality. After all, Stray Kids are in my opinion, the boy group who has displayed what may possibly be the HIGHEST level of high fashion I have seen. As you mentioned, their performance/MV styling can indeed touch on high fashion at times, as well as other event styling for red carpets. They are one of the few big groups whom I have seen that are TRULY comfortable in who they are and capable to owning looks. Looks, mind you, that other male idols I've heard about wuite literally say "NO, that's ugly, how embarrassing!" or even just insinuate that men wouldn't wear what they are being asked to. I love that Stray Kids are fashion forward, confident, and secure in their masculinity. Therefore, I really hope that TH cashes in on those qualities of theirs, and at the same time, do justice in regard to the theme. Most of all, in fact, most importantly, I hope they remember that this is Stray Kids VERY FIRST, not to mention VERY MASSIVE, group event endever within the US. (Not counting award shows, of course.) At the end of the day, this really is an immensely important night for them professionally in MANY ways. Not to mention, this is basically their FIRST IMPRESSION on much of the entertainment industry tonight. Oh, and DEFINITELY in terms of publicity as well, because photos from Mey Gala are ALWAYS EVERYWHERE. So they need to make a great impression... and well, im worried! Tommy Hilfiger just isn't what I think of when I think "Met Gala", you know? Plus, I hope they keep in mind how important it is for members like Hyunjin and Felix who are really big in the fashion industry right now, not to mention massive influences ON FASHION itself. So, it's the reputation of both the group as a whole, as well as each of them individually. That brand better pull it off 😂... because I know darn well Stray Kids can ao long as they are given the right pieces to work with. So🤞🏻to say the least. Lol
