To me chans is earthy and with a small vibrato very characteristic of him. Minho is like forward and strong and soft at the same time idk. Also I really like the sound of it when he belts, like in limbo. Changbin is just iconic. His singing voice is warm and smooth weirdly, very different from his rap voice with the raspy dark sounding technique he uses. Hyunjin has a very chill vibe and it can be light and relaxing or totally unhinged like that one verse in domino or his iconic part in the bang bang bang cover. Han’s voice is so comforting to me. His voice in his upper register sounds really rocky (strange given he’s a rapper) and when he sings in his lower register he’s strangely sexy lol. To me, hyunjin, when he raps in the unhinged way, is the one that sounds a tiny bit like Han. They both have a higher tone, not dark like changbin, but charismatic and playful. (Maybe that’s why I think they both slayed that bang bang bang cover). Felix is just to good to be true. His deep voice draws you in so much but it’s not just deep, it has this warm color it’s so prominent and special, perfect for slowing down songs or for a sad song like deep end. It sounds better with more a simple instrumental because it’s so special you don’t want to cover it up. And his range is mind blowing. Seungmins voice is so angelic. He also has that nasally sound like I.N but in a different way and I love that, even if he’s the main vocalist, he is not a tenor but a baritone. His voice is so full and it goes very well with packed beats because it comes through the music and still manages to stand out, it’s also great for pop music in general. I also love that thing he did in the love poem cover from kingdom with the change in volume that was way to angelic and emotional to not make me cry. I.Ns voice is very unique. It’s become an addiction for me tho. It was formed through trot and it suits trot very well because of how piercing it is (if you haven’t seen his camelia lady cover, watch it) he said in the lee mujin service show that he changed the way he breathes to be more stable and I really notice it. I’m very proud at how much he improved with that. He pours so much feeling into his singing (that time where he sang creep on skz code is immaculate). In general, now that I think about it, because they’re so connected with their songs via them or their closest friends (sometimes more than family) being part of the making process, they all are emit a whole lot of emotion while singing or rapping that blows me away and is mostly the reason why I find them so comforting even tho the music is not really my style (I like indie pop/rock, ballads, pop rock and a little bit of punk (mistki, arctic monkeys, Taylor swift, paramore, måneskin and Lana del Rey are some of my favorites, weird mix, I know) but I would listen to them months on end without getting tired. I love them so much.

For me I always notice Chan cos there's still a bit of an aussie twang when he sings. Its not major, but some syllables sound kinda different than if one of the native Korean members were singing them. I always know its him cos of that

Here's how I describe their voices: Chan: Firm and a bit Aussie, sticks out Lee Know: Softer, tends to blend in with a few other members (like Seungmin) Changbin: Raspy and slightly dark while rapping, but idk about singing... Hyunjin: Very light and airy while singing, the lightness creeps into his rap too. Another easy voice Han: I sometimes confuse his rap voice with Changbin's but definitely brighter and more energetic. His singing is even brighter, reminds me of a masc Chuu Felix: Deep and warm (but still has a youthful flair). Probably the easiest to recognize Seungmin: Warm, but not "warm" in the sense like Baekhyun (caramel type), instead like the afternoon sun rays I.N: Nasal, sounds like he's smiling when singing
