I’m a baby Stay and I just read and understood the lyrics to this song a few minutes ago. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a kpop song that’s hit me at an emotional level until I heard this one. I couldn’t have heard it at a better time… I’m turning 23 but I still feel new to this whole adulting thing. My friends have all gotten good jobs while I’m still navigating my way through life and learning to be independent. I feel so left behind and the pressure has been so overwhelming that it’s suffocating and I can barely get out of bed let alone handle my responsibilities… I couldn’t talk to any of my friends about this because I feel like I have no right to complain so I’ve just been bottling it in. Until I heard this song when I attended their concert yesterday. Didn’t know what it was but it sounded beautiful so I looked it up today to learn the lyrics and…damn… tears just started pouring. I came into the fandom blindly, without knowing any of the names of the members, and relied on the Stay to tell me everything I needed to know about you. The depth of your voice combined with your passionate vocals is one of the most beautiful sounds I have ever heard. Your rapping and singing abilities are entirely specific to you and are so captivatingly intriguing, that I knew I loved you from the moment I first got introduced to you. I found Stray Kids mid-December of 2023 and this is the first time I've actually sat down and paid attention to the lyrics of this song. I've enjoyed the music before, but I did not expect the lyrics to hit me so hard. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease seven years ago, and since then, I've been struggling to figure out my new normal, even after all these years. I've been in remission for three of them, and in a month, after nine years, I will finally graduate from college. It's been my dream since I was little to go to college, and now I'm finally there and the lyrics in this song just made me look back on everything I've done and had to go through to get to this moment and I'm literally crying. Because I did it! I held on and took my own time at my own pace and I'm really finally graduating!! I saw somewhere that you find Stray Kids when you need them most in your life and I can't be more grateful to these incredibly talented young men. I'm turning 27 in May and I've had so many problems to deal with in those years, but I am here and I am fulfilling my dreams. I didn't give up, I didn't quit even when it was hard. Thank you so much Stray Kids. You've brought joy to so many Stays around the world, and I'm glad that I'm one of them

i know this will get lost in the sea of comments but i don’t mind, i just want to have this space to speak my mind for a little bit. i’ve heard this song a few times before, but i never looked up the lyrics. today was a really bad day. pressure about my exams, struggling with getting into university, pushing all my friends away and generally feeling depressed all piled up on me. i started watching stray kids music videos because they are a big source of happiness for me. i got to this one and turned on the captions, and as i read the lyrics i started sobbing. i’ve never felt so understood by people so far away from me. every word of the song spoke to me, and it was exactly what i needed to hear. i feel so much more encouraged now, so much more hopeful that things might turn out okay in the end. thank you stray kids for this beautiful song, i hope you continue to make more, and continue to comfort and inspire people like me
