The blue paint in Ex is actually more likely a reference to Changbin's solo SKZ-Record, Streetlight That song delves into mental health struggles and there is a bucket of blue paint splattered on a tree at the end which probably references Blue Tree Project which raises awareness around mental health

btw in the Ex mv, you see Changbin with blue paint. You can also see it in his solo song called "Streetlight" and it's about the Blue Tree Project. The movement's mission is to help spark difficult conversations and encourage people to speak up when battling mental health concerns. By spreading the paint and spreading the message that "it’s OK to not be OK", we can help break down the stigma that’s still largely attached to mental health.

Tortoise and the Hare actually reminds me of 3rd Eye from their debut album (I don't think you've heard it yet) in how experimental it is -- would love to see y'all react to the remaining b-sides from the predebut and debut albums like Glow, Yayaya, and 3rd Eye which didn't have MVs! 3rd Eye really transports you to another dimension lol

I was just thinking about this series lol. Glad to see you guys are back with it. Honestly, the superior Stray Kids album. Back Door isn't up there for me amongst their title tracks but, it has one of my favourite choreographies they've ever done. The dance practices for it are insane. Also, this album might be my favourite just because of The Tortoise and The Hare lol. It's so good.

Christy, you're funny! I've got into Stray Kids because of Back Door MV. Definitely one of the most impactful MV. Now please don’t forget to check out ALL IN (Japanese) album, especially the song ALL IN before going into NOEASY, as Stray Kids will perform All In at their concert 100%.

I lost my mind when I first heard tortoise and the hare. I’m not into kpop really but skz drew me in with how global their sound is and I love dnb and this whole nursery rhyme fast rapped in korean and sung off note is like actual genius. It's useful to remember that SKZ plays with intro songs sometimes. Three album intros combined to make the song "0325." "Road Not Taken" expanded to "Stop." And in this case, the intro track called "GO生" from the GO生 album was expanded into "The Tortoise and the Hare."

It seems like Ex mv is paying hommage to , which is one of my favorite film. Check it out if you haven't. It's a beautiful film just like this mv + The Chinese letter 生, which means 'life', or 'to live', is pronounced '생(saeng)' in Korean. So, GO生 = GO Saeng(which means 'struggle' in Korean), and IN生 = IN Saeng(which means 'life' in Korean)

Binnie is the "love song" writer in SKZ and he is really good at it.. A lot of Stay believed that the blue paint refer to his (Binnie) solo SKZ-Player "Streetlight" that talk about mental health and blue tree project. and blue is often associate with sad feeling.. For EX mv each member is coping with their pain and loss differently : Chan- self hatred (looking in the mirror and trying to drown himself) Lee know- binge drinking Changbin- suffering from mental health issues (the blue paint is a reference to his skz player called "streetlight" where the blue paint represents the blue tree project wich aim to raise awarness about mental health) Hyunjin- trying to fix the pieces that are already broken Jisung- denial trying to pretend the other person is still there but breaking down when you realise they're gone Felix- lying in front of train tracks (suicide attempt) Seungmin- depression can't bring himself to do anything Jeogin- using food as coping mechanism In the end they all find each other showing that there is an end to your pain and loss

Hiiii Christy!! 💛 Since you guys are going into Noeasy album next I just wanted to let you guys know the importance of Mixtape: Oh MV to stays and skz!! :) (No song spoilers ofc!!) 🥲 So, basically what happened was Hyune was on hiatus for a few months and we didn't hear from the company what was gonna happen to him and all of that stuff, until one random day SKZ dropped Mixtape: Oh and we got to see him again for the first time in months it was a huge surprise with no announcement or anything. It was such a relieving moment for us Stays knowing that he was coming back and no longer having that uneasy feeling on whether or not he'll ever come back to us. I hope you girls will feel the heart felt connection to the song like the rest of us!! 💛 There's the short summary of what happened with the Mixtape: Oh situation. It was a very emotional time for Stays and SKZ (ESPECIALLY poor Hyune) so the song holds a very special place in stays hearts and makes most of us cry everytime we hear it 😭 Just thought you should get a heads up about this bc I don't want you girls getting hate for not knowing something like that from "stays", yk?? Anyways sorry for bothering you!! :)

3racha are honestly such great lyricists, rappers, and producers. I would argue that they are on par with BTS's lyric/rap line (RM< SUGA, Jhope)... maybe even better... they fact that they arent afraid to release a song that's experimental and "weird". Props to these boys.

This In Life repackage is probably my favorite Stray Kids album; some of my all time favorite songs were in Go Live (Phobia, Blueprint, TA) and then they just topped it off with The Tortoise and the Hare--an absolute masterpiece! The unit songs on this album are also just so, so good. I love watching your reactions, you both have such a good time! Looking forward to y'all seeing Thunderous and the other NoEasy songs--and it might be hard to record/upload because of copyright, but you should definitely check out their japanese releases too! The OST they did, Hello Stranger, is also really great. I know you've got your discography list from Bevin and it's probably all sorted out already, so no pressure, I'm just excited. YOU'RE GONNA HAVE SO MUCH FUN AT THE CONCERT, YAY! Edit: You two taking turns sitting on the bed because you were freaking out is so adorable and relatable!
