Tortise and the Hare isn't all rap, but it is so much fun. It's perhaps their most experimental track. The storytelling through song elements is incredibly impressive.
Maze of Memories and Changbin's CYPHER are like crazy quilts of rap. I love how experimental those and other rap-heavy songs (like Tortoise and the Hare, and 3rd Eye, among others) are.
thanks for reaction! this song is actually originally a pre-debut song written by 3racha in 2017. so first part was performed by Han --> beat switch --> next part by Changbin --> beat switch --> final part (the one in English) by Bang Chan. in 2019 they took several pre-debut 3racha songs (including maze of memories), extented them and distributed the parts among Stray Kids members. in 2020 they adjusted the songs again (re-distributed the parts and lightly changed the lyrics) after 1 member left. actually after 1 member left they re-recorded like 99% of their songs, sometimes changing the lyrics if it was appropriate (like to erase the references to amount of members in the group) and re-released those songs in SKZ2020 and SKZ2021 albums. so if you look up older songs on spotify for example, now you know the difference :). if you want to listen to a live performance of this song by 3racha I highly recommend the performance at kcon Thailand in 2019, I think you would like it :) it is on youtube. looking forward to new reactions! p.s. a little note. you pronounce Han correctly. the letter "a" in all Korean names should be pronounced the way you pronounce it in "Han" (it applies to Changbin, Bang Chan and so on).
I'm confused; what was Maze of Memories called in 3RACHA days? I remember 3RACHA doing the KCON version, but as far as I was aware, that was re-arranged for the show.
@@Brickerbrack I don't know their pre-debut discography that well, so I am not sure how it was called back then. I hope I didn't mix it up, but I am pretty sure it existed already pre-debut.
@@polyanagula Ah, okay. I have all the stuff they released (and also the stuff that was taken down) as 3RACHA on their SoundCloud, and I'm pretty sure Maze of Memories was completely new (to us, at least) when it was released on Miroh, and the Thailand version was just a reworked version of it.
THE FELIX EFFECT IS REAL 😂😂 I'm surprised you didn't say anything about his voice during the "bom digi digi bom bom bom bom" part in Topline. My daughter says he has the face of an angel and a model but the voice of Corpse Husband lol Hands down, of their 170+ songs, this is top 5 for me
Pre debut songs by 3Racha are worth to listen to: Zone, Matroyoshika and Runner's High. Written in their teens, they are their anthem, musical identity..., etc.
i love maze of memories it’s crazy you should react to some of their more “noisy” songs like “beware” or “side effects” and maybe their experimental songs that ppl have been suggesting like “tortoise and the hare/go live” maybe even check out their more vocal-centered songs like “hero’s soup” or “another day” (in another day felix has a low part bc ik u like his voice) also recommend songs from their newest album like “hall of fame” “item” “get lit” or “super bowl” i also think u should check out “zone” by 3racha (bang chan/changbin/han) since it’s more rap-focused and “superboard” for han’s rap part forgot to mention: i rlly like the song “rock” and it has some pretty good rap parts imo
Well, you probably already know by now, through comments or through the guide that I haven't watched you watch yet and don't know what kind of info it gives, but STRAY KIDS writes, produces and arrenges all of their music. Mostly by 3RACHA- Chan with around 180 credited songs, Changbin, and Han both with more than 130 credited songs each. When you find a single song from them without at least one bit switch (or five) in the same song... It's prbably not them... LOL Producers and editors that I react to, say that STRAY KIDS have their own uniqu sound, no one else can compare to them and you can never excpect what's about to come, you never even know sometimes what's the coures, the bridge, or the verse. They're really amazing group! Welcome to the family my friend!
If you liked this, you'll definitely enjoy the experimental vibe of The Tortoise And The Hare :) the contrasts between the lyrics and the cadence are so thought trough there 😁 Loved your reaction!
Yes, all 8 members can rap, and well. Seungmin and I.N. are vocalists, but they have covered Changbin and Han's raps before and they killed it. I recommend the Tortoise and the Hare. It's so good. It's quirky and some parts are incredibly fast, and well... you'll have to see for yourself.
You should also check out their title tracks Backdoor God’s menu Side Effects Thunderous Christmas EveL Case 143 Maniac Miroh Please Ik their not heavy rap but this are the songs that helps you get a better understanding of straykids and the sounds they make😭
Thank you for reacting! Since you liked this song, which is kind of experimental, you'll probably really like Tortoise and the Hare too. Not sure if that's already on your list. Can't wait for the next reaction!
I think straykids all the songs good for you their totally different than other kpop I'm in past, hate kpop Straykids are the reason I started to love kpop 💖 They all can rap, vocal, dance and everything But they have sub units three racha (Bangchan,Han,Changbin) Danceracha (Leeknow,Hyunjin, Felix) Vocalracha (seungmin,IN) *You can hear more English from Felix and Bangchan bcz they are from Australia ❤❤
lee know and i.n are the only two members who very rarely rap, seungmin too but he has a crazy good flow and is amazing at rapping despite being the main vocalist
