i don't know if anyone mentioned it but the reason you feel that the dance hits way harder than the bit is because this dance is called haka (Māori dance from New Zealand) and now it is used by NZ sports teams to challenge opponents. It is a very special type of ceremonial dance used as a war dance or celebration of life dance.

It would be fun if you reacted to Topline. IT has a featured guest of a very prominent Rapper in the Korean Hip Hop circles. Miroh is such a fun song. It's on my work motivation playlist. And This song had so much lore in it. I'll drop a bit of it below. Miro means maze in Korean, and they added the H at the end to denote heaven or hell. Heaven or hell, your choices determine the path to either. The chant part of the lyrics are heavily inspired from Congo victory songs. The main parts of the choreography is inspired from modern Hakka dances. Notably victory songs as well. If you noticed the slogans that the authority figures had in their parades, "The world is the same." "Something happened, Nothing changed." "Order-Disorder." "There is no Tarzan. CITY JUNGLE." (These are important. The slogans are actually for the trailer for Cle2: Yellow Wood, which has Side Effects. Except for the Tarzan one. Tarzan was the equivalent of a hero for the jungle. So it's saying there's no heroes.) The mascot of the authority figures is a lion...Which isn't a Jungle animal. Tigers are, which is why when you hear the tiger roar & see the tiger's face pop out at us, it's with SKZ as the background. They removed the weapons & masks used by security for the authority. We know this, because neither SKZ nor the resistance ever use those. No dog masks, and no weapons. The dog masks are symbols for the police. How many times are police likened to attack dogs for authoritarian governments. When it first started you see glitches happen behind Felix, and bios code and different images flash in rapid sequence behind him. Only him. Those images are sending a rocket to space, the first areal photos of a large city, war, blueprints for city infrastructure, and time lapses of traffic with the headlights making streamers. So much happens before the song even starts officially. When the song starts, Chan & Seungmin are in a high-rise building looking over the city. The walls & signboard are covered in papers, pictures, and markers. They are tracking people. The people they were tracking were the authority figures, and people in the immediate chain of command. Noting times & places, making notes on who is missing, where they are meeting, and so forth. When SKZ are with the resistance, they are at street level, but when on their own, they are high above on rooftops. So Stray Kids are trying to disrupt the corrupt Authorities in the city. They are trying to change how the system works. (Which is what they are trying to do with how they make music.)

I love Miroh (btw it means 'Maze' in Korean). This song is so much fun at their concerts! They get the crowd jumping and we all shout, "Stray Kids Hoo!" 🔥

Some info about the ex-member: His name is Kim Woojin and he was a vocalist for Stray Kids. A lot of people act like Woojin is Voldemort and won't even mention his name and blur him out of photos, which is insane. Woojin left Stray Kids a year and a half after they debuted, so any videos you see from 2018 to mid-2019 will have him in them, as well as anything pre-debut from the end of 2017. He left very suddenly, right before a comeback, which then had to be delayed so they could re-record all of his parts. It was very hard on the guys and they went through a period of not knowing if their fans would still be there for him. Bangchan in particular was hit hard by Woojin leaving because, as the leader, he felt like he should have been able to keep the group together. We do not know why Woojin left and likely never will. All that was stated was that it was for personal reasons and nothing more was ever said. It being so mysterious meant speculation went wild and a lot of people assumed he must have done something bad. There were people who said he was bullying Stray Kids, and others who said he was being bullied by Stray Kids, with no proof of either. Breaking a contract with a company is not easy, so it had to be something significant that was going on. The important thing is we don't know what that was, whether he was forced out by the company or whether he had a good enough reason that he was allowed to end his contract himself. Woojin is now a solo artist. About a year, I think, after he left Stray Kids there were accusations against him, saying he committed SA. By this time, he was with another company and was no longer connected to Stray Kids or the company JYP in any way. These allegations were proven false, the accuser lied, he did nothing wrong. However, some people refuse to believe the evidence and still think he assaulted someone. In some people's heads this got mixed into the mystery of him leaving Stray Kids and added fuel to the speculative fire. A lot of people, like me, have no problem with Woojin at all. I like Stray Kids the way they are now and wouldn't want it to change, but I also wish Woojin well in his solo career. His music isn't for me, but I hope his fanbase continues to grow. Because there are some pretty strong Woojin haters, it means a lot of people who make content about Stray Kids don't mention him, including guide videos that are supposed to help you get to know the group. It makes it really difficult for people new to Stray Kids to understand why there are different numbers of members in different videos. Like I said, I don't think most Stay have any real problem with Woojin being mentioned. Because he is a controversial and polarising figure, though, people often choose to just ignore his existence. However, he was a part of their journey and that can't just be erased. I haven't watched the guide that a lot of people have been directing you towards, so I don't know if they talk about him or not. I just wanted to give you a heads up in case they don't. I hope you keep finding more of Stray Kids' songs to love and add to your playlist! May I recommend Maniac? I love the song and video, plus the message of the lyrics is really good. If you want to see all of their vocal skills, I recommend the live version of Leave that they have on the Stray Kids RU-vid channel. It's very different to what you've seen from them so far and the live version is amazing.

Once you have watched a fair bit of their catalog , you will want to watch their SKZ Code episodes. Also, each member is an ambassador for various fashion brands. The whole group went to the Met Gala this year, dressed head to toe in Tommy Hilfiger. Felix represents Louis Vuitton, Hyunjin is Versace, Bang Chan reps Fendi, Lee Know is Gucci, etc etc. Felix actually walked in the Paris LV show this year. You can find the video on RU-vid. They will be at Lollapalooza in Chicago this year.
