Cle is French for Key. The Cle trilogy followed the I Am trilogy. The I Am trilogy dealt with finding answers to your self identity in a fast changing world that doesn't seem to care about you as a person. The Cle series deals with opening doors & finding paths in your journey through the confusing jungle of society. It deals with the fears you have of falling behind, getting lost, and not understanding what is going on around you. You should try watching the Album Intros. They are the Kids telling us what inspired each song, and the feelings they hope we get from them.
Han wrote 19 to express his fears and worries about entering his 20s. It's a song that really resonates with a lot of us, regardless of what age we are, I think. Also, I'm so glad you're doing this, RJ! I'm rediscovering a lot of great songs that I had relegated to rarely-played playlists because I kind of forgot about them.
If you liked Victory Song, you should totally check out the live version at the 2020 MAMA awards. It has some backstory, but tl:dr is that they were snubbed at that show, but were still asked to perform as one of the acts to introduce the start of Kingdom. They were given a small amount of time to prepare and rehearse and were generally treated badly. They choose to perform a B-Side released over a year previous (Victory Song) and absolutely ate the stage up. I love all the Kingdom performances by Stray Kids, but MAMA Victory Song hits hard because you can tell that they were ANGRY. Please watch it even if it's on your own time off camera. :)
The other version of Boxer doesn't have Woojin in it and it's basically a dance practice, but fancier. It's a lot of fun and you should definitely check it out! Also, Chronosaurus is one of my all time favorites! Their vocals are just so good in it!
This is how life is we spend half our life wanting to be older and the other have trying to get or look younger. LOL Love all these songs but Victory song and Chronosaurus was what got me on my first time journey with Stray Kids along with Easy. Those songs pulled me into the wild ride of stray kids for 4 years. LOL The revised Victory song for the 2020 MAMA performance. it was the performance announcing Stray Kids as part of the line up for Kingdom Legendary War competition reality show that aired in 2022. The keys is part of the lore to the story of the multi universe. Also In victory song you see Felix being twirled by Woojin but because he is behind Changbin you cant really see at the angle but if you watch a live performance of the original song on MNet you see it. Chronosarus is just a really good song. I love it so much. Miroh is special to the boys because they got their first show win on it. 19 is a very good Han song and very relatable. Han is always good and putting relatable emotions to paper. Boxer also has a very good performance video that is amazing choro to it. The only time you don't see it is on their Japanese m/vs.
SKZ are just so good. Every concept. 🔥 I def recommend watching the mama performance of victory song, so powerful, they were angry and put it all in that performance... and the special video of boxer, the choreo is really fun.

You were pretty spot on with your thoughts about Chronosaurus as a title actually! The first part does relate to time, the saurus is meant to play at a monster. The song personifies time as a monster that's constantly chasing you, it's catching up to you and no matter how fast you run you'll eventually run out. You already made the connection between that theme and what 19 is about, the fear of time going by too fast. The Clé series came out in 2019 which is the year the 99 line (Hyunjin, Felix, Jisung, Seungmin) turned 20, Jisung mentions this in the lyrics for 19. While the I Am series in 2018 mainly dealt with identity crises and figuring out who you are and what you're made of, many of the songs on Clé 1 are about becoming an adult and being afraid of starting that new chapter in one's life
“Clé” means “key” in french, that’s why in some MVs like Side Effects, Double Knot and Levanter you can see lots of keys or doors: this songs came out during the Clé trilogy era. It’s all part of their storyline but i can’t understand it, there are many theories tho.
Don't know if you know this already, but there is an official map to guide you through the first 7 EPs (from Mistape to Levanter). The map is called The Map for Broken Compass. The concept of the broken compass is similar to The Pirates of the Caribbean, where the compass doesn't show proper directions, but instead shows the direction of something you desire. (The lightstick of SKZ is also a broken compass btw). Anyway, check out the map and see if you spot the details in the MVs :) Have fun with it. And make sure to watch Prequel for Go Live album after that - they wrap up the lore of the first 7 EPs there.
Cle is french for key, thats why all the keys. On Chronosaurus and 19, yoy are 100% right. 19 was written by Han reflecting on getting older and kond of wanting to go back because of the pressures adulthood. Chronosaurus was a Changbin song, at least in concept to start with, I believe. He talked about the name and how there was a kind of concept title of Time Monster and that was how it developed into Chronosaurus. Time waits for no one. It's coming for us all.
For Chronosaurus I think it'll be easier to comprehend if you know that originally it was named 'Time Beast' so kinda like if time is a monster. And clé is French for key so you got it right
