The backstory of skz. The leader bang chan, is Australian who moves to Korea at 13 to become an idol under the company jyp. He was a trainee for 7 1/2 years. The other skz didn't pop up until years 5-7 so he was lonely and suicidal. He, han, and changbin are called 3racha and make up the production/music of skz. Chan specifically creates the beats. Chan(leader) created the name, logo, and got to choose the group members himself. This is all unheard of in kpop. They are called a prodigies with a monstrous work ethic. The name stray kids is for kid shwi don't feel lime they fit in with the norms of society and would like to live their own lives outside the constraints of society.

lol us stays are out here recommending their whole discography and that's so real. My recs are basically...anything with a video directed by Bang Jae-yeob (so most of their title tracks since 2020). don't worry, you don't have to go searching. I got you. - God's Menu: probably their biggest hit up 'till now. it put them on the map in the West and has some fire remixes/mash-ups ("God's Ddu-du Ddu-du" is the reason they were noticed by Ryan Reynolds) - Back Door: one of their funkiest tracks. it really has a party vibe. - Thunderous: has some cool traditional influences (also a fun response to haters who say they're too loud) - Scars: a ballad, so the reaction might not be as hype (but I said everything with a mv directed by Bang Jae-yeob and I meant that) - Maniac: (my personal fave) very interesting afrobeats influence running through this one - Circus: HIGHLY underrated in my opinion. This song/mv is so much fun - The Sound: turn the bass up for this one. I mean, I recommend bass up for skz in general but even though this one is a bit more chill throughout, when the bass comes in, it HITS. - S-Class: another I don't think we talk about enough. This one and God's Menu really switch up the genre a few times in just one song. Not directed by Bang Jae-yeob but still fire (choosing just 3 of these was actually very hard): - Top: (not to be confused with topLINE) the opening theme to the anime Tower of God. there's more than one version. the Japanese has the main MV. -Case 143: their first real love song. it's very upbeat and pop but also the exact level of hype you'd expect from SKZ - Megaverse: gives a lot of similar vibes to Mountains even though it's got a different sound. if you liked this track, I definitely recommend it SKZ are very diverse and very consistent in their quality, which makes it super hard for fans to pin down the best songs to recommend (seriously, I thought of like ten more while writing this). But I also recommend just...exploring what comes up when you search "Stray Kids Music Video". Find what draws your attention and react to THAT. it might be something stays don't expect you to be interested in at all.
