When you said wait and replayed the part where Felix said “let’s go”, you asked if that was his voice and then Changbin came on a moment later and you said “oh that was his”; no it wasn’t lol😂 that’s Felix’s actual voice. Changbin (the one with the fast flow) has a deep voice but Felix’s voice is even deeper and it’s crazy cuz he’s like 17 and has a baby face
That's not crazy at all. At 17 your voice is super mature. Have you ever seen a decent quality high school quior? Bass singers go way lower than Felix. Felix can just project some deep notes while talking. It's not very rare at all lol. A baby face can be deceiving though.
Stray kids is a group where they talked about identity crisis A LOT. As they are, or many of them are still teens. And they want to send out a message to teens, saying that it's ok to be confused, and to be yourselves. Chan created Stray Kids, and I am always grateful for that because he just made a MEGA group, that I believe will make a difference in the KPOP world, maybe even the International world.
I would also like to add that they had a survival show in order to debut. But, this survival show is different than the others. It's practically JYP vs. Stray Kids. Since Chan made the group and are doing almost everything on their own, and JYP doesn't really know their strengths at the beginning of the show, because he hasn't really interfered with Chan's group. It would be a good idea to watch m.vlive.tv/video/58455 (the 9th EP.04) to know more about Chan and also the other members. And also Start Line by 3RACHA(stray kids pre-debut group). I'm so happy that Chan and Felix are Aussie's so they can relate to each other and talk in slang, it's so funny. Because most foreign members of KPOP groups usually don't have accents, and hearing such strong accents is really cool and different.
Their “concept” for lack of better words is pretty spot on with what you said: they are leading a youth revolution. In district 9, they talked about how society wants youth to be and all of the pressures on them _“How could you know me when I don’t even know myself”_ -District 9 while based in a very futuristic setting. They were essentially robots in the system, but except they were glitches. _“They say people are born different (but why does it feel like we’re all the same) Us, brainwashed into the same system, they expect perfection (so how can we be different, huh?) It wasn’t until I saw my reflection that’s when I woke up and realized the truth had been hidden away from us A sign An omen A- A glitch”_ -I am NOT So they’ve come to “save the youth” by creating their own district for all of the “stray kids” like themselves. “My Pace” is the start of that district.
Love your reaction..and YEP, felix's voice is really that deep! It shook me at first too. His face just doesn't match. Just wait until you hear him speak. He's an aussie lol
Stray kids said their purpose was to step out of the usual steryotypical boygroup and to lead young ppl to break out and be themselves, be free and that its ok to struggle with life
This song was so much fun to listen to! This is my first comeback with stray kids, and I am really impressed. I love all of their voices so much. Changbin really did have an amazing flow
You haaavee to check out 3rd eye by them there you can hear felix's voice (the boy with the deepest voice I’ve ever heard in my life) so clear and I swear to god it has to be more appreciated ndlgmelgkdfk
I feel like straykids concept is straying away from society and its norms and being themselves and they their lyrics are about the struggle youth like themselves go through and encouraging everyone to be different. fans have also made theories that they are like a glitch in society and they aren't like everyone else. hellevator was about how they struggled with training and things. district 9 was about breaking free from society and my pace is about doing things at your own pace and not letting anyone rush you or slow you down. also you should check out the album it's really good.
Here is my reaction to Stray Kid's My Pace from their first comeback album "I am WHO". Be sure to follow me on twitter @realanthonynash for channel updates as well as future plans. Stay tuned!
Great reaction. Btw stray kids is a rookie group meaning it's only been a short time since their debut. mostly there is a theme in their lyrics but not necessarily in their music videos. The lyrics are usually about youth, finding yourself, not letting others Define you, not being afraid to make mistakes as you grow up etcetera as many of the members are still teenagers or in their early twenties
Love the reaction so much! Essentially Stray Kids is a group that wants to represent the youth and feelings they may experience by writing music that is genuine to the members themselves and that can be relatable to those who are having a hard time. Their albums I AM NOT talks about self identity and realizing to embrace individuality rather than conformity. It is "I am not going to be what they say I should be". This is the second album as I AM WHO basically talking about them discovering themselves of who they really are, as in "I am not going to be what they want me to be, but them who am I really?" The meaning of Stray Kids as a group is "lost kids" who are trying to find their place in life and acheive their dreams. Through their journey they're expressing their hardships and experiences through their music to help those who may also feel lost in their lives. Stray Kids also is a group that embraces individuality, hence why they are kids that "Stray from Norms of society". The glitches is a common theme in Stray Kids, since District 9, where they've been expressing the message to find yourself and not be oppressed by what society or people want you to be. Basically the glitches can represent people who have accepted that they are imperfect and who accept their individuality rather than conforming to a "perfect" society
i love these guys, they are so talented and they just started out basically! 4:02 that is jisung btw, so far he is one of my personal favorite members but they are all so impressive to me. i mean the fact that basically almost every member can rap really well but also sing + they work on their own music? oof stray kids really did not come to play
anthony too yeah, i end up taking unnecessarily long naps throughout the day which screws me over. i probably should fix my sleep schedule this month before uni starts up again, but i don’t think it will last long.
Stray Kids’ concept is all about kids trying to find themselves. District 9 was about finding a safe place to find their identity and be them. This song, My Pace, is all about being able to take their time in knowing their true identity.
Since skz are so new its hard to tell of they have a storyline through their mv’s. However I’d say their musics theme is very much for teenagers and the coming of age stage. Their lyrics are more often than not identity centred and have a lot of existential sounding content. They’re some pretty deep guys tbh. YES this is a mini-album! I just finished listening to it myself and I really really enjoyed it. I would recommend listening to it even if you do it in your own time. Btw yeah Felix’s voice is that low (he sang in this song,, ive missed his singing voice). The member who’s hair you liked is the leader Chan, my fav if that matters. This song is so weird it took me a couple of listens to get used to it but now I can’t stop its so GOOD. I’m glad you like it too. Thanks for uploading this vid so quick 💕💜
My dude they really are so lit, if you want song recommendations they have one called grr beware, and songs from their other unit made from three members called 3racha that are really rap hip hop heavy that are worth it
So on still tired but what I got from the spanish trans is that they are saying that you shouldn't compare your progress and success to someone else's and to take your time with your growth rather than letting society pressure you, that It shouldn't matter how fast you get there but rather the end result and the overall process. Anyways, I'm going to sleep
Felix baby has the deep voice and he's the best. But you even noticed that there are two deep-voiced children in stray kids. Also... they have an army of stray kids behind them. .... .... .... yeah
I'm sure people had already told you that Stray Kids is about the struggles of Youth. Literally, every single song they make is something about it, no joke. The last album was called "I am NOT", and this new one is called "I am WHO". I am NOT actually won an award for most inspiring debut
I love the fact that they say "Just stay in my lane" because thats What Felix actually said in an Interview. This is what Stray Kids stands for. He said that he is doing his thing and nobody is going to stand in their way and nobody is gonna slow down or speed it up. Thats your THEIR thing and in my opinion I think that is what you can tell. They are so unique and talented in their own music and their own style which is Incredible. Im really proud of them.
I’d love to see the album reaction as well with the color coded lyrics if you have time, it’s pretty amazing. Glad you enjoyed it, and get rest as always.
Can’t wait for more Stray Kids reactions! Chan (the one with the hair that you liked) and Felix (the one with the voice that doesn’t match his face) are both aussie so their accents are just wOW. And Felix’s voice when he speaks just makes everyone go crazy so.. Stray kids are honestly just an amazing group and are really fun to watch (music-wise and personality-wise).
i really like stray kids because not only do they write all their lyrics by they also produce their own music. so i say totally check out the lyrics they’re really good and uplifting
You should react to their back shows, cause they are a survival team, 2 of the members were eliminated (Felix and Lee Know) but luckily they debuted together. The leader Chang trained for 7 years and he use to trained with GOT7 and twice. Even they are a new group they produce and write their own lyrics.
It's important to note that Stray Kids is a group that was formed by their leader, Chan. Even though they are under a large company, Chan picked out 8 other guys who were training under JYP Entertainment with him and impressed the CEO so much that CEO gave Chan a chance to prove that his group (not a company made group) was ready for debut. They had a survival-like program called Stray Kids where they proved they proved their teamwork and ability before debut. In KPOP is uncommon, very rare, even unheard for their to be a member made group rather than a company made group which is one of the most important selling points. They also produce most of their own content (like Hellevator) which for a heavily regulated company like JYP is a first.
Thanks for ur reaction! anyway I think this really fits what’s been going on with them. They know exactly what fans are up to. People are trying to compare them to other groups and they are saying don’t do that. They have their own lane and they will go their own pace
Ant you bring a different flavor to the reactor channels and I thank you for that. You notice things right off the bat and call it out whether it's hq fashion or the music flow, it's a nice change of pace. Thanks bro!
anthony too well actually 2 of the members were eliminated for JYP, the company didn’t create they group this it’s the first time the group choose the members, actually Chang did (the leader) and JYP give them a change to prove them selfs and they went on a show to debuted as 9, but 2 of the members didn’t make it, but I guess the fans didn’t like it so they get really mad and start complaining and the company giving them another chance so at the end they debuted together as 9 group. The been on the game for so short, but the rap line have songs. the trio use to call 3Racha, they pretty good. And fun fact all the rappers can sing.
The one that says "you ready, let's go" is called Felix he's Aussie and has a very very deep voice, changbin the guy in green rapping has the second deepest/raspy voice
Their concept is that they’re “glitches” in the system, rebelling and speaking out! They’re mainly self-producing so they write many songs on their own struggles in the industry as well as with depression, anxiety, and more. It’s why they tend to have the malfunctioning “security camera” type footage in their videos! In their intro for the I Am NOT album there’s also a line where Chan is leading into their story and calls them “a glitch”. ^^ Also this album is called I Am WHO.
yeah felix's voice is sooo damn deep it's crazy. it's just naturally like that which is wild considering he's only 17. also, this song is about not comparing yourself to others. all of their songs are about different things and i'm pretty sure they don't have like one set message that they convey. the album this is from is called i am who and i really recommend checking it out :)
the answer is yes this voice is that deep but this isn't the lowest his voice is, if you search on youtube deep voice felix you find a lot more video's where show how low his voice is, and it is his normal voice
chan (the one with the curly hair that you liked in the mv) said this in an interview 2 weeks ago to describe their music. “the genre we usually do, it’s a bit on the dark side but it has that really dark energy vibe. which also reflects on what other people, like kids our age think. so in our lyrics we kind of relate to everything they have in their thoughts as well. so i guess that could be one of our biggest weapons, or our identity” i think they’re sort of representing the youth, kinda like magnifying a voice for the youth in their songs.
the guy with the deep voice is felix, and yeah his voice really is that deep! the other guy you pointed out (“is this the deep voice guy?”) is changbin!
