STRAY KIDS REACTION: Howl in Harmony Ep 4 | 2 Kids Room Felix & Seungmin 

I think the reason why Seungmin is even funnier is because of the way he spit out this random joke with his poker face 🤣. I really find him funny, even Hyunjin said that Seungmin is the funniest member. But as what I've noticed, Seungmin started to become really funny during God's Menu era, in their older albums, he's not what he's like now. Also, when I get into Stray Kids, Seungmin was really the last member I noticed. But there's something about Kingdom that made him even more special, and now he's my bias wrecker lol. I've seen a lot of stays saying that Seungmin is the nation's bias wrecker. Even in the way he dress, the way he speaks and teases in bubble, you can't help but fall 😂. I think it all started when he watched the romance kdrama called Nevertheless 🤣🤣.

Felix and Seungmin is talking about Dog Cat School. The Dog is Seugmin and the Cat is Lix. Both of them go live and cook. They already cooked pancakes and made smoothie but they always fail 😭

Seungmin is such a mentally strong person. I don't remember where I have watched it but he said that these days he is contented in his life? something like that. I think that because of his way of thinking and his mental and emotional capacity, he handle and approach circumstances very well. There's something he said that he gets upset easily but it immediately goes away like nothing happened.

Fun Fact: In Gone Away they were painting a flower, that flower was shown at the end of the mv and it's the same flower that is in the drama called 'extraordinary you' where stray kids made and sang one of the OST. The flower is called Chinese Trumpet Vine and it means 'waiting', perfect for the plot of their song.

Seungmin's humor is really unique - it seems like he's naturally funny even without trying.. My friends/colleagues often tell me that im funny & i always made them laugh but honestly i don't see where i just speaks what's on my mind - i feel like i can somehow picture it now seeing Seungmin,..

Don't let seungmin's "calm" demeanor fool you, man's a menace and can get VERY hyper when he let's his guard down. The members talk about that in his 1 kids room. Also idk if you saw but in the new 2 kids room they didn't translate their full ending message, because the other half is in english. These 2 are the best friends, the cat dog duo, chef min and lix, my favorite cat dog school though by far has got to he the pancake one they did with hyunjin and the smoothie one

The love poem performance was a "rediscovery of seungmin" we all know he can sing but as he said before, he doesn't really get a chance to sing a full song much more a ballad song since he's part of a group and they are more into the EDM style. After that love poem performance, I felt like more doors opened for seungmin, he gets a lot of singing related guesting now 😭 so happy for him. For seungmin's attitude, a lot of the members talk to him whenever they have worries since he's a good listener and gives genuine advice too, he's somehow a tsundere type, he doesn't show his emotions "too much" except for I.N haha he's very vocal about his feelings for I.N haha he adores him so much. It's good that he's now loosing some screws and showing his more funny and playful side, even the members think that he's loosing too much screws now hahaha I saw some clips where he had some good laugh like big ones haha he's so adorable.

Felix is in the quieter side...I think it's like he's one who gets energized when one person starts, like one person starts goofing off or teasing and he follows them thinking that this is fun. (He is an extrovert) Seungmin is more on the mature and logical side, he's also one who follows a strict routine of sorts but there's moments where he just relaxes and shows this chaotic side and funny that fits so well with skz as a whole... he can also be random at times. He spent like 4 months on LA when he was like 3rd/4th grade and learnt English there (continued learning after he left, maybe) Also dog-cat school only happens on vlive...they attempt to cook or make drinks and fail. I'm sure there's compilations of those but "Stray kids moments that I edited for no reason" is the only one of a few that remember.

39:18 they did drag the director and the staff to the MV, they had so much fun! And yes, after Love Poem and winning Kingdom something inside Seungmin just explode with confidence and it was beautiful to see, before that I noticed that his confidence wasn't to a 100% and he was more shy, but after showing to the world what he was capable of, you can notice how his bright inner self just burst out and I'm very lucky for being capable of witness it 😭

Episode 4 of Howl in Harmony never ceases to make me laugh. I've seen it before and I'm still laughing along as if it's the first time. Everyone trying to explain their sexy concepts, genuine feedback, and teasing each other...I love seeing them love their job. Makes me happy. Seungmin is so well spoken. He really does have a lot of leadership qualities. I think in the giant board game episode of SKZ code we got to see that Seungmin is great at controlling his external self, his internal self seems a bit more... Excitable? 😅 Thank you for addressing the food thing again. The confusion that is so prevalent over what's causing "puffiness" for these boys. Were they really put on diets through training without supervision or something? That's one of my fears.

As we all know Seungmin was defaulted (for good reason) as Main Vocal when Woojin left, and there has always been netizens who talk down on his position because ‘he’s not a real main vocal’ (absolute bs if you ask me). It was a big adjustment for him and the group as he started taking a lot more lines, and the boys had to produce songs with his vocal type more in mind than before, I’ve always thought he did very well with this. Anyway, I don’t believe he was ever all that confident in his ability to hold his new position.. So I feel like Love Poem with two very well known powerhouse main vocals, showed him that he could hold his own. I definitely agree that while he didn’t need a turning point bc he was already amazing, that it was a boost in confidence and a turning point in his mindset. It also made a lot of people eat their words which was not only rewarding for stays but I’m sure felt good to him too!!

Loved the reaction 😍 thanks Mel! On Seungmin, yes Kingdom was a big turning point for him as a vocalist as he hadn't gotten a lot of opportunities to showcase his vocals prior to that stage. It somehow felt like the culmination of all the efforts he's put in throughout the years. It's also quite noticeable how he gained a lot of confidence on his identity as a singer afterwards. For his personality, Seungmin is quite strong mentally and I've always considered him as a mental pillar in the group. As you've noticed, he doesn't get flustered easily, is level-headed, and keeps a calm demeanor. Hyunjin and Changbin seem to depend on him a lot. One thing I appreciate about Skz (my own take/assumption) is that some members lean on specific members for support and because those members are aware of what that member is going through and don't want to burden them further they then lean on a different member for support. So it becomes this support train/circle. Like Chan recently relying more on Lino and Lino relying more on Hyunjin now. I won't mention the other examples yet since you haven't seen them hehe. Seungmin has also let himself go a lot more recently in terms of playing around. The episode with him and Han will provide more context. In terms of opening up, the episode with Changbin, Hyunjin (no recent one yet), and his one kids room will shed more light on that. 😊 But yea Seungmin prides himself on always being honest, that why him saying 'I love you' for the first time to Stay during kingdom was a big deal and he's usually strong so him getting flustered speaking and accepting a music show win (other members were in too much shock to speak) during the thunderous promotions was endearing to see and him breaking down during the recent fanmeet was also surprising. I suggest watching the ep with him and Bin before watching clips of his fanmeet speech for context. Hope I was able to answer your questions haha. Oh and I also hope your internet issues get solved soon! I'd be so frustrated so I'm super impressed by how calm you're being LOL.

But for this episode specifically, seeing them really envision what the music video should look like, from their styling to the set, theme and mood. This episode of howl in harmony is my absolute favorite

Red Lights was the song that got me into Stray Kids and I love seeing in this ep how much of the video came from them too. It's a super cool video and I love anything I can rewatch and pick apart. I love how detailed Stray Kids thinking is about every aspect of performance, each time I watch I just keep thinking how smart and professional they are.

Just started this, but I have to pause and say, I am impressed by your dedication. I think I see a video from you everyday, if not every other day. And while I honestly only watch your SKZ videos, I am subbed so I see that you do regularly post Ateez as well; and these videos are long. I don't know how you have the stamina. But I'm enjoying. I hope you continue to enjoy this journey. Please take time whenever you need it. I think those of us who've subbed to you at this point are here for more than the kids and will understand if you wanna go a bit slower. Chan was the only member of 3racha to do the track IIRC. The others talked about having someone else give them the track. Chan and Hyunjin are the only ones listed under lyrics and composition. They all had help arranging the songs

Seungmin is mostly very level headed and it's really rare to see him showing strong emotions. When everybodies crying on stage he and Minho are usually the one's who are keeping it together. But I think thtat's just because kind shy to show his emotions and wants to be professional. He did cry during the last fanmeet and even the members where surprised. And one time during something they were shooting ( ÄI forgot what is was, sry), Seungmin was given the company credit card to pay for thier meals and Jisung (at least I think it was him) hid it. So Seungmin thought he had lost it and he got really angry when he found out they were just teasing him. He didn't talk to them during the whole meal but they were really light-hearted about it. It was kinda funny actually xD

Yeah I feel like seungmin is definitely more emotionally reserved. I think maybe he does get deep but can be embarrassed to show that in front of cameras (can Deffo see that on his and han's ep) but seungmin and changbin's 2 kids room really showed a little bit of his more emotional side as he said himself that he was holding his tears in. He might just need someone to lead him into talking about these things.

And that STAY are referred to as the "fandom that raps" for a reason. That reason being SKZ have far too much faith and zero mercy. Everyone is different, of course, but I believe you've mentioned having ADHD, and fwiw, a lot of fidgeting and needing to touch and whatnot is often related to ADHD (you probably already knew that, but wait a few paragraphs to find out why I have to try to clarify it for general readers anyway). Body-focused repetitive behaviors and other fidgety or tic-like behaviors are definitely present in both ADHD and OCD, and the two conditions can have a lot of overlap and even be comorbid. But the fidgets/tics tend to be from opposite sides of the coin. (This is simplified. Please no one freak out that I'm not quoting the DSM.) In ADHD, they're a way to focus, to stay present or centered, to provide the stimulation ADHD needs, and they can provide relief or even pleasure. While they might be unwanted if they're drawing negative reactions from others, they don't intrinsically tend to be a source of distress, something you wish you didn't have to do but absolutely must, no matter how distressing. In OCD, you _have_ to do them. They don't provide relief (beyond sometimes a brief relief from having fended off the obsession, but this is negated by the self-awareness of what you're doing and feeling helpless to stop), help focus, or anything in that vein, and they're often intrinsically distressing, regardless of whether anyone outside of yourself reacts negatively or even knows you're doing them. You do them because they're a compulsion, generally in response to something that triggers an obsession or because you're avoiding an obsession being triggered. As someone with sometimes hardcore OCD (one of the reasons I literally _have_ to infodump on your very patient and kind self all the time), I'll say that compulsivity is _miserable._ I hate having to perform stupid, time-wasting compulsions just to defend against an obsession hijacking my mind. But if I don't do The Thing, then either I'll 1] be taken over by obsession and end up anywhere between an inability to focus on/do anything and a raging anxiety spiral (depending on the magnitude of The Thing), or 2] the Bad Result, whatever it is, ephemeral or not, or even if it's a purely obsessional bad result (you can obsess about getting obsessed; OCD is ridiculous), will happen. (I know it won't. But OCD says it will, and OCD wins.) If I don't edit, re-edit, re-re-edit, post, review, edit again, review again, repost, review _again,_ edit _again,_ repost, etc these comments to you probably at least five times unless they're very short or singular, it won't just bother me. I'll likely be incapable of moving forward or functioning. Despite _knowing_ it's stupid, that nobody cares, that they're just yt comments from a stranger who can't shut up, I _have_ to do those things, or I'll probably stop functioning. If I resist, they'll overwhelm my mind, take all my attention, and eventually end with me nonfunctional until I go do the compulsion to make the obsessing stop. So I might as well just do it to start with. (Any other OCDs reading this and internally screaming about it being the exact wrong thing to treat it, I know. We all know. Half the fun of OCD is knowing it's BS and you're doing the wrong thing to control it, right?) So both conditions have compulsive behaviors, including fidgets and BFRBs, but they tend to be for different reasons (self-soothing/stimulation/focus vs defense against looming obsession/resultant catastrophe) or have different results (lowering of anxiety/increased focus/ability to concentrate/centering of self in the present/sometimes pleasure vs maintained or increased anxiety/distraction/negative feelings). Again, everyone is different, and minds are complicated. But in _simplistic_ consideration, if it's intrinsically distressing to do it but you nonetheless must, it's probably obsessive-compulsive/OCD; if it's not distressing, or only distressing because an outside source makes it an issue, it's probably coming from the ADHD. Both are compulsive, but not both are obsessive-compulsive, if that makes sense. I don't even know where I was going with this. I'm so sorry.

- Yeah, the "misunderstanding" thing is them playing with a combination of the divorced-couple dynamic and them all gathering together to talk things out (something they do in actuality sometimes). - No idea if it's just me/my screen or what, but I figure it doesn't hurt to mention: For some reasons the captions seem really dim in this one, like gray-on-black instead of white-on-black. - I just spent two hours writing an entirely unnecessary separate OCD/ADHD comment to dump on you (I'm sorry), so I'll try to keep this note here from being crazy long: Obviously someone can't be diagnosed by strangers on the internet, but as someone with OCD who's done a lot of studying about it, I have a particular POV about Chan and his behaviors. Not all compulsions are obsessive-compulsive, and not all obsessive-compulsive behaviors are OCD (everyone has occasional compulsive and/or obsessive-compulsive behaviors, as well as anxiety, insomnia, and lots of other stuff that's part of various disorders), of course, and I _loathe_ the incredibly dismissive, invalidating trend of "I'm soooo OCD about arranging my closet" or "Everyone's a little OCD, hehehe" or whatever. But based on many things he's both said and done during more than four years on camera, and what other members have also observed and commented about him after knowing and living with him for over four years, it's clear he has some obsessive-compulsive tendencies. And they're numerous enough and, by both his and others' accounts, intrusive/distressing/negatively effective enough that my _personal_ suspicion is, yeah, he likely has some degree of actual OCD. By his own words, _he_ assumes he doesn't; he flat-out dismissed the possibility and downplayed his own issues, presumably because he's met the internet and knew he'd get attacked for even daring to suggest his situation was comparable to people with "real OCD." But as time goes on, I see more and more that makes me suspect he has OCD, as opposed to some obsessive-compulsive behaviors/traits. - If you frame-by-frame the latter part of 12:14 into 12:15, you'll see Felix straight-up give Changbin a once-over when Bin said he'd take his shirt off. The slo-mo gif of that was _everywhere_ in moments. The Changlix ship had new fodder (there's a lot of Felix-ogling-Changbin moments out there; Western-raised boy is not very concerned with hiding when he has...moments) and was waving the flag high. I.N's over there covering his eyes at the very thought of shirtless Changbin, while Felix is eyeballing Bin. - No, Chan didn't work on Gone Away or Surfin'. He's like CIA-level observant about the others and aware of what's going on, and he doesn't have an issue with _them_ opening up (in fact would like it if the ones who let themselves be leaned on would do some leaning in return, especially Chan). But in terms of his own internal stuff, he tends to keep his own counsel. Not to an extreme degree, but definitely not as open as Felix or Binnie or some of the others. - YES! The nutritional ignorance, omg! It's so _frustrating._ - When Seungmin lets loose, he has a big laugh. It actually sounds pretty much like his little chuckles, just bigger and louder. A quick mental review suggests that usually when he's moved to a full-size laugh, it's because he's cracking himself up being savage to somebody. And it really does mostly sound like a louder version of his "hahaha" chuckle. - 1:07:23 Funnily enough, Seungmin is acknowledged by both himself and the other members to have the quickest temper. We've seen him get _p1ssed_ at them; he does the full fashion-model-stomping-and-glowering thing, gives them the cold shoulder, etc (as Changbin says, "Seungmin is sexy when he's angry"). If you ever doubt Seungmin's power, watch seven other men watching him with wide eyes and bated breath, trying to appease him without drawing wrath, when all he's doing is sitting there, half-ignoring their existence, and saying he wants soup. That said, they also all agree his temper ends as quickly as it starts and that it's because the anger is his instinctive reaction, but the quick die-down is because then his intellect kicks in and he goes "This is dumb." He's loosened up and increased his patience over the years, but his tolerance level for their BS has never been as high as most of the others have. The "super level, chill" thing is the Seungmin Effect. Somehow, 90% of people newish to SKZ are deceived by the sweet puppy face and schoolboy speech. Seungmin's weird af, and he's an instigator -- remember, he's literally 1/3 of Savageracha. He will deliberately push people's buttons and run away giggling, photobomb people while make bizarre noises, etc. - 1:08:31 Felix was possibly the quietist member for the first two years. Part of it probably just by nature, but part of it because of how shaky his Korean was and how uncertain he was as a foreigner living surrounded by and forced to interact in a language he barely knew. You could watch conversations flying right past him all the time. He spent a lot of time doing the classic smile-and-nod in response to things, and he was often unintentionally excluded simply because he couldn't fully understand or respond to the conversational flow -- you've seen the chaos they can all be together. Like Seungmin's temper, Felix's reserve has lessened as time's gone by; he's learned Korean and gotten used to the culture and country. But in addition to it just being part of his personality, I think being quiet (comparatively speaking) and following/reacting rather than initiating became habitual and part of how he's conditioned to interact with them. If they're being chaotic, he'll follow, but he rarely starts it; his biggest instigation moves are the occasional little tease. He's happy to just do his koala impression on anyone he can get his hands on until and unless someone starts chaos and draws him in.

Of course there are already great queer creators in kpop working behind the scenes, but we need more like Novvkim (Hyunjae with the blue/gray hair). Really collaborative, but bringing their unique points of view to the creation. It was amazing to see their chemistry with the group who they seem to know well enough to joke around and know the humor even when these types (directors etc) don't usually appear in front of the camera.

Seungmin is similar with lee know, their both mentally strong and more of a listener than the one pouring their feelings out. Their walls are still going pretty strong. Seungmin is the most reliable member in terms of professionalism and communication i guess, he rarely stutters and is very good with words. He's very honest too, he can't lie haha recently there are times where he stutters and gets teary eyed or cry which is really rare to see from him, he also said i love you to stays for the first time in their winning speech in kingdom. When he cried in the latest fanmeeting, not just stays but the members were all surprised too. I think I've commented this on your video before but all eight of them have really changed a lot because of the struggles they had to face and overcome. One thing for sure is they all became stronger than ever, and although there has been some scars, okay actually tons of painful moments, but i think in the end it still made skz and stays grow stronger and closer together. It just kept coming and coming, we didn't even get breaks to recover from all the challenges. Hopefully things will only get better and 2021 will be the last rough year that we experienced.
