Silent Cry is one of my favorite songs, this and Star Lost. I also HIGHLY suggest Changbin's Streetlight as well and Scars. The lyrics are just...whew.

Han wrote Secret Secret when he was having a hard time, it was this way to express his feelings but Silent Cry written by 3Racha is an answer to Secret Secret and Changbin wrote Sorry I Love You. All Stray Kids songs have really meaningful lyrics, I suggest Changbin Streetlight he wrote it when he was feeling down and he knew that he wasn't the only one to feel this way so he wanted to say to the fans they weren't alone with those feelings, I hate to admit it by Bang Chan is just a masterpiece with raw feeling that knock you down.

3Racha are what made me love rap songs! I didn't use to listen to any *at all* before stray kids, but Changbin's aggressive and gritty tone and Han's vocal acrobatics (the things that man does with his voice never cease to astound me) made me love rap! They're so good!

There are good reasons the prevailing theory about "Silent Cry" is that it's a response to, or at least inspired by, Han's "Secret Secret." No, we don't know for sure (but as with anything in a fandom, once one person says something as a truth, it spreads like wildfire, so most people don't realize it's a theory). But the reasoning is sound. Lyrically, there are obvious connections between the two songs. Thematically, the connection is self-explanatory (one is a lonely lament from someone who keeps the secret of the their pain silent, the other an offer of support and understanding to someone who laments in silence). Then there's the fact that 3RACHA are _very_ good at what they do and understand music AND know each other very well. Even STAYs have occasionally seen Han flip his On switch when it wasn't what he really felt (and it's heartbreaking to see when it happens, no matter who feels the pressure to don that facade). Living with him, the members will have seen uncountable more instances that we have and in far more detail than we can glimpse in the seconds before a manager shuts off a camera shot. Han is the acknowledged moodmaker of the group, famously energetic and funny, with a bright personality that naturally draws people and makes them want to share that energy -- which is the nature of the music of the song. Han is also one of the most emotionally sensitive and susceptible to the effects of low points, has openly mentioned his depression, is known (via his company) to have anxiety -- basically, lots of mental-health crap to deal with -- and yet that's very rarely seen, hidden behind his bright, loud, catchy personality, which distracts most people's attention. (Anecdotally, some of the funniest, brightest, most joy-inducing people have depression, anxiety, deep emotional lows, etc.) His upbeat exterior is certainly often genuine, but it's also an excellent shield and tool of distraction when his internal state doesn't match that external show. The music is the distracting external show. The lyrics are the hidden pain inside. So, y'know, a very good representation of Han and his POV in a lot of his songs, including "Secret Secret."

For deep lyrics I suggest u hear Changbin’s Streetlight and also Bang Chan’s I hate to acknowledge. The way they sang it make u understand their hurt/feelings at that time.

A little back story for Silent Cry: so Han wrote Secret Secret (also from NoEasy), that it’s basically a *really* sad song, talks about crying in the rain and stuff So the guys wrote Silent Cry kind of as a answer, saying “you can tell us what’s going on, we’re here for you”

Sky-hi is a Japanese rapper and writer/producer, so he literally wrote this song with 3racha, a proper collab. Sky-Hi is also in a jpop group called AAA but his solo stuff is so good, his song Mr Psycho is incredible 58:05 the time signature change in the chorus fucks me up I love it lol 1:00:29 yeah it has a syncopated feel bc the time signature goes from 4/4 to what feels like 6/8 in the chorus.

If you love songs with meaningful lyrics you're in for a treat with Stray Kids' discography! It's how I grew to love them as a group and as artists in the first place I mean, just consider how Hellevator was their first track and completely self-written and produced too The fact that they write 99% of their own lyrics (let alone composing and producing most of it) really adds that level of sincerity Some personal lyrical favorites off the top of my head are Hellevator, Voices, Grow Up, 19, Mixtape #3, and TMT :) Or if you're interested in hearing any of their solo tracks, Streetlight by Changbin and Alien by Han are really vulnerable and emotional pieces

I really recommend to listen to English version of “Slump”, because it hits different. The song itself is very powerful, but when I first heard it in English, I literally cried. So yeah, Slump is something so deep and deserves more attention. By the way, Han wrote this song while having a difficult lifetime (just for you to have an emotional connection)

If you trust Wikipedia, all of 3Rache wrote Silent Cry. Of the Noeasy Album is "Secret, Secret" only written by Han & "Sorry, I like you" written only by Changbin.

Stray kids are poetic geniuses haha their lyrics are very meaningful and personal since they write it. Many stays in the comments already recommended slump (by han), secret secret (by han) and streetlight (by changbin). I want to add Another day, sunshine and alien, all written by han. I also want to recommend the view and blueprint (with mvs). If you want storytelling type of lyrics, that's 3racha for you. You can check out their discography if you want, their songs are a bit on the dark side though. For funny videos, i suggest changbin, han and hyunjin being bestfriends!

I had just started to get into Stray Kids when Hyunjin 'Play with Fire' came out so I knew nothing. I read a lot of comments. This is what I learned. Hyunjin has been nicknamed 'Prince' before because of how beautiful he is, but he's never liked people only seeing him for his looks and not his talents. That's why you seen him start out as a prince, all proper and perfect with his hair up very neatly. But as he dances, he begins to unravel all of those perceptions and just be Hyunjin. It's also why he isn't looking at the camera, he wants you to look at his dancing Hyunjin, who became a trainee at JYP Entertainment after he was spotted by a casting agent on the street, said, “I wanted to be acknowledged for my dancing, not for my looks, so I went all-out in practicing. I’m the type of person who achieves their goals no matter what.” I Love 'Christmas Evel'. It's the Christmas carol samples & the play on words that get me. Felix 'I can feel the evil coming bur Felix, never bad'. You should also listen to '24 to 25' & 'Placebo'. Still learning about 3Racha I don't know if you be interested, but I make playlist for groups I love. They have playlist on their channels but they're in reverse order, newest to oldest. Not convenient when they have a storyline and you want to watch it in order. So that's why I decided to make myself those playlist. I've done TXT & ENHYPEN. I'm almost done with ATEEZ & Stay Kids. Yay for another SKZ reaction! First, you gotta watch the Christmas EveL video again and read the lyrics as there are some funny moments/lyrics that you missed this first watch. They released the very Halloween-esque vampire classic "Up All Night" in the middle of June. 🤷‍♀

So you may have heard this by now but just in case: Han wrote Secret Secret when he was really struggling with his anxiety and Silent Cry is essentially Chan’s response to it because he wanted Han to rely on him more and stop suffering in silence. Another layer is that Han was Chan’s first “kid.” It really just says a ton about who they are as people and their relationships.

Skz is duality, They are duality, each member has a double vibe ranging from fierce to cuteness. You have the same reactions that all of us bbstay's had when we met them, at first we couldn't recognise them but with each song you experience the magic and in the end you can perceive the unique charm of each member and then, when you realise, you are in love with skz and his unique style. There were a couple cool live collabs 3racha did for Kcon. The Thailand performance you watched wasn’t the end of that performance. It was a whole special intro stage if I’m not mistaken…Before 3racha entered the stage, Hongjoong had a solo rap piece followed by Seoyeon from Gidle, she had a solo piece too. Then all of them came together to perform a bit of runners high. Then at the LA 2019 Kcon, 3racha a had special stage collaboration with Nflying. 3racha comes out does there thing, then they leave and nflying does covers of two girl groups that were at that kcon (Itzy and Mamamoo). Then 3racha comes back out and they do a piece together. Definitely check out those videos.

After the live version of silent cry came out someone mentioned that the song and dance were to distract u from the lyrics, a silent cry. The choreo did go viral tho for how sexy it was and how good they looked so it served it’s purpose (except stays knew the lyrics so they were crying while twerking in the comments). I REALLY HOPE you'll see this comment! THIS WILL HELP YOU A LOT CATCHING UP. I would highly RECOMMEND YOU watching On Track, B Me (b-side one), mixtape 애 and The View IN ORDER. It is one of the story line of stray kids. Those songs are connected to each other and there's so many symbolism especially in mixtape 애 where Hyunjin appeared after his four-month hiatus. On Track - Minho and Hyunjin likes the same girl and is competing with each other (the story's so long I'll make it a short cut). I.N knows what's going on with the two and there will be part when he grabbed the drink Hyunjin suppose to give to the girl. Jeongin got a deja vu on Mixtape 애 having an illusion of felix grabbing the drink he's about to pick. Anyways On Track is the start of the crack on their friendship. B Me - although it's short, the behind story stated by the members is that they all get into a fight. Minho got into an accident after the fight and was seen lying on the ground that's why on Mixtape 애 he's wearing a cast. All of them decided to part ways without a proper good bye. Mixtape 애 - they're graduated and they were picking their things up. Minho's still upset and hyunjin wasn't there with them. Han have this flashbacks of them hanging out together. Changbin's looking at lee know and jisung's picture taken by Hyunjin. Take note that mixtape 애 was released during Hyunjin's hiatus. Felix, is the one looking at the books and it states that 'dreams come true to those who truly wants them' so lix wished that someday they all can be together again. It always confuses me, when people equate "upbeat" With "Happy" To me the BPM of a song dosent tell me anything regarding message or feeling. I would describe this instrumental as "angsty" And "rest less" Even more so with their lyric delivery

It is connected to the story line of stray kids starting from debut. I.n's card is denied because the one they're with is i.n's clone and the real one was left behind in the parallel world.

Play with Fire was like the second video Hyune was in once he came back, (after Mixtape Oh) so it means a lot to us Secret Secret is a song written by Han I feel like these two go hand in hand. I don't know if they were answers to each other, but the lyrics go together very well. I would definitely watch the 2019 Vlive heartbeat award performance They do 3rd eye side effects, carp diem and double knot. It's a performance that I have watched like close to 50 times TT.

Not to be misunderstood because stray kids lyrics mean so much to me, but I can definitely separate that from the beat/melody at whatever mood I am in. I can listen to Silent Cry and feel the message in my soul having read the lyrics in one moment AND I can also enjoy the beat and melodies and totally jam to this in another time.
