I love how Felix was so in character like he did his moves so zombie like...Changbin is just that hungry zombie. For the Thunderous skzoo, I was so surprised and proud that they all managed to dance in those costumes...and you got it right we do say ski-zoo... Mel I will say this was an impeccable lineup today, 3Racha’s “dark past” WOW will forever be amazing Studio Choom’s Pd had an interview where he was asked to choose the best idol dancer and he chose Hyunjin for the male so that’s why Hyunjin was thanking them I’ve been waiting for you to react to Levanter for the longest time I knew you would love it !!! When Stay’s needed it the most queen Levanter was released, it holds a very special place in all Stays’ hearts, there’s also a Lovestay version of the Levanter dance practice is REALLY cute, the whole song and choreography of Levanter is just so BEAUTIFUL Maze Of Memories just further proved stray kids is made up of 8 rappers, vocalists, dancers, etc. And when I tell you Seungmin’s verse had Stay Twitter on a chokehold you can already imagine how that went lol Thunderous skzoo ver is so funny, they said it was relatively easy to dance in the suits but the head is kinda heavy lol

I think it was the producers of studio choom who did an interview where one of the questions they were asked was who they considered the best dancers, and they chose hyunjin as the best male dancer and chaeryeong from itzy as the best female dancer 😉

To this day Levanter is still one of my favorite title tracks. I love that song so much and the dance practice is such an underrated one. Literally everyone shines in it.

- Ok, I'm one minute in and already excited. Levanter is a work of art, and it's criminally underviewed and unknown to new people (and ignored by a lot of more longtime people for emotional reasons). Both SKZ's and 3RACHA's versions of Maze of Memories are legends. And obviously 3RACHA's WOW is truly a timeless classic... - We got SKZOO ("skiz-oo") vids for both God's Menu and Thunderous, so there's a decent chance we'll get one for Maniac too. If so, it will be epic. Watching them be absolutely serious through the absurdity -- even when they're smacking the sh1t out of each other and losing body parts -- is at _least_ half the fun of SKZOO performances. - Now I'm gonna watch and see if you've watched enough SKZ vids yet to catch all the visual and choreo references in Levanter. Fwiw, a lot of us refer to it as the queen or Queen Levanter, as that's just how it feels among the videography. Especially since it was the first ot8 title track and title MV (Astronaut was the first ot8 MV released, but it wasn't a title, and it was technically made with W and then had him edited out).

also seungmin is actually a really good rapper I highly recommend looking up a compilation of him rapping (he even rapped faster than changbin and han on weekly idol w/ BRACES). there’s also a video of him rapping hans part in gods menu during a live performance :))

wow was our unofficial fandom representative song for years ahh levanter is so underrated, one of my favourite title tracks from skz (it's also the first song released after wj left) THE ENGLISH VERSION AS BEAUTIFUL, one of the more well made english ver. sometimes i sing the eng version instead, it's just so pretty oh to clarify the 'seungmin auditioned with rap' comments, he didnt exactly audition with rap, it's more a joke that skz do to tease him by pushing the kim seungmin main rapper agenda (which i fully approve of). what happened is his audition process was a competition kind of thing and he was part of JYP 13th Open Audition and came 2nd. you had to perform a few stages and in two(?) of the performances he did with other contestants he had to rap and sing so ppl took that as, he auditioned with rap IM STILL UPSET THEY HAVENT GIVEN US THE BEHIND OF SKZOO CUZ YOU JUST KNOW THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO DO THAT IN A FEW TAKES

- Since this is SKZ, you'll hear them mention wind once or twice in future lyrics, tying the storyline together with Levanter. - I've mentioned that Changbin sings in way more songs than most people think. Levanter is a good example. Everyone knows his sing-rap part in the middle. Somehow most people don't realize he has several beautiful, sweet-voiced lines in the beginning. Literally half of his lines in the song just stealth right past people because they don't know or don't remember that he can sing like that. - Anytime you see Lee Know in a bucket hat during a dance practice, it's because he's deliberately blocking his vision and dancing mostly blind so he doesn't monitor himself or the others. You'll see this fairly frequently, especially in earlier songs. (Everyone else is learning the choreo faster now, so he's no longer stuck having mastered the dance and waiting eons for the others to catch up.) - At this point, I can't remember what you have or haven't seen, so I don't know if you've seen Side Effects yet. Levanter is full of choreo references to previous songs, and Side Effects is one of the most significant. Parts of it are either direct starting points for moves in Levanter (the opening positions are literally where Side Effects ended) or have been copied into Levanter and then changed to be a contradiction to the fear and confusion and anxiety in Side Effects (most overtly being the neck-snapping sequence with Hyunjin and Felix now being an enactment of gentleness and support). SKZ often makes small choreo references, almost like easter eggs, but in the case of Levanter, it's not just tidbits, but basically an entire collection of past works to culminate in this and create the end of that era. It's just clever and well-planned, and I _love_ it. - I've mentioned that Scars is the end of the next era in the same way that Levanter was the end of this one. It's no coincidence that the choreo in Scars not only incorporates a similar emotional feel, as well as choreo references from previous songs, but also that it specifically references distinct imagery from Levanter, especially the penultimate "look to the sky" move. - Also significant: I've mentioned that SKZ have confirmed that (no matter what random theories say) I.N is the only one who knows what's happening, though he's not controlling it. Notice that at the end of the Levanter choreo, everyone is scattered, facing different directions, and looking down, while I.N is dead center and the only person looking directly forward and basically breaking the fourth wall with his gaze.

levanter is genuinely one of my (if not THE) favorite skz title tracks, mostly because of the lyrics (considering how it came out right after that individual left the group.... yeah it lines up even though i know the song was made beforehand). sadly though, it never got the attention it deserves... even though it earned a music show win.... ppl always complain abt how skz's music is "just noise" but when they do a slower more soulful title, they ignore it 😐 it's frustrating. but anyways, i'm really happy that you enjoyed it so much. thank you for your videos always

Soooo glad you reacted to Levanter dance practice, I've been watching it over and over lately. One of the few times Felix gets a center solo feature....and it's so beautiful, both the song and the pictures they make with their bodies.....And it was great to watch the funny things again, like the Wow reaction and zombie practice. Have you watched the Awkward Silence dance practice yet? The song is goofy, maybe not their top tier, but funny with great sound effects, and the dance is so hilarious. I'd also love to know what Korean sayings or catch phrases I'm missing. It took me awhile to realize that kdramas use the sound of cawing crows to point up when there is an awkward silence moment, so it is a familiar shorthand in Korea, and I'm sure there are tons of those types of things that I missed......

I love the studio choom contest,its always funny and the way they edit the videos is very original . someone already mentioned it, but I hope that at some point you can see the behind the scenes of hyunjin's atom (choreo-record). It really made me notice the great effort and how hard the dancers work, I have always enjoyed the performances and musical shows, but I never paid attention to what is behind everything that one sees already on stage, I really loved seeing that video .

There's compilations of how 8 skz members are all rounders (singers, rappers, dancers and visuals) and they keep surprising stay with the new things they do. Also Maze of memories is a skz song which was later modified for 3racha to perform later on ( the one you watched)

ahh Levanter~ the era when i.. am became a stay🙋 i've became a stay right after WJ's left. ya, Levanter is their first mv together as 8. and i didn't feel sad or anything, cuz idk that guy much. so that's why i'm enjoying stan this 8 boys now.

when i first discovered stray kids and searched for videos to get to know them, 3RACHA reacting to their old music was one of the first things i saw and i was immediately sold on them as a group. obviously some of their old songs are on the cringe side (not in a bad way of course) because they were literally kids making music for the first time. but you can still tell that they had a lot of potential. to be able to actually hear their music making skills develop over the years is a really special thing and it massively impressed me. i'm the type of person who will pick up a craft and drop it because im not getting good at it fast enough and i lack discipline. but these guys really worked their asses off and got good at what they were doing and now they're Big big. sorry for the rambling haha i just really love watching those old 3RACHA videos because it makes you realize how far they've come.

I haven't seen wow in a long time ahh it's so good.Skz has so much content other than mv that even though I go back to old videos from time to time, sometimes I can't think of some content, that's why it's so nice to watch reaction videos. You are the one of the channels I have had the most fun with lately is about skz. You're not just watching the basics and you're getting completely into it. This is really nice. For example, there were people who heard wow was famous and watched that , but they couldn't understand what it was completely. I LOVE watching their Studio Choom BTS. We get to see the boys having fun and enjoying themselves. I was re-watching their GOD'S MENU and THUNDEROUS Studio Choom BTS and they were just being playful little rascals. Of course there were some butt slapping actions. I started listening to Stray Kids probably a month or two after they released GOD'S MENU and Levanter was one of those songs that I just fell in love with. It was in my playlist immediately! I listen to Maze of Memories when I wanna feel hyped up. It just gives me POWERRRRRRRRRRRRR. Great video as always and have a GREAT GREAT day!

Even though Halloween does not come yet, the song title is Maniac, so they can be Zombies.....right? Because they are already walking like Frankenstein anyway. Lots of them are into Zombie, so they kicked out Frankenstein and brought Zombie in (Poor Frankenstein, haha) I think you might have missed.. but at the end of Zombie Maniac Dance, while SKZ are walking out one by one, Han was shouting "I'm alive! I'm a human being!" in Korean(난 살았다, 난 사람이다, Nan Sal-Ass-Da, Nan Sa-Ram-I-Da!) and then you can hear someone's scream (Perhaps Han's. Maybe Han got bitten by other Zombie SKZ after revealing his true identity and became one of them) In addition, Changbin was still lingering and stay, so other(Seungmin's voice? Not sure) said "Changbin, you have to go to gym" in Korean and Changbin walked out in fast Zombie steps. Cute and funny Kids, always 😄🧡💛 All look great in these Zombie makeups and outfits

The way you were awestruck while listening to Levanter... sadly it's one of their lesser known or hyped up title tracks but the emotions and vulnerability it bring are just so impactful The English version was beautifully translated too, it's up there next to Zombie by DAY6 in terms of listenability(?) in English Also just the timing of the release of the song right at the end of 2019 when they had just received such a blow as a team... the lyrics really do hit differently if you think about the context they released it and the whole concept of the album with it -- letting go of a part of yourself or some ideal in your head that was holding you back in order to set yourself free and strive for a better future

I'll try to explain what Levater is to us. Imagine a full month of blackout after WJ departure. We didn't hear from them, no lives, no SNS, didn't even know if they would... disband? Then Astronaut was out. Such a strange feeling, with that weird edited video. It was a very controversial period, there was a lot of resentment towards them too, as it was their fault. Levanter was a warm, reassuring and still painful message for us, that "it's all good now" and them smiling. Levanter will always be special, still we don't recall it so easily, for its meanings and the memories associated with it (I've tried my best to explain but I'm not mother tongue, sorry 😔)

Wow was released in 2017 and Chan was less than 20 years old in Aussie age (Changbin and Han were 17 and 16, respectively) Back then Chan was even younger than l.N now and proudly playing the older richer guy role 😁 Also, l remember two of Stay's favorite lines are "jOgiYo nOonA hOkShi nAmJaChiNgU iSsEyOo?" and "HutWutEumMan NaWaaaaaa~" Stays are often teasing Han that Han cannot make a love song(Changbin and Han said Han writes love Songs well) and also teasing that the main character of Han's song "Close" is a sophisticated version of Wow's Han. Stays say that the unit song title by Danceracha was Wow because 3racha wanted Stay to find Danceracha's Wow instead of 3racha's Wow when Stay are searching SKZ's WOW. I just tried to check out what kpop is about and I was listening to many songs and many groups but I didn't quite like that kind of music, untill YT reccomended me Levanter and it was first kpop song I genueinly enjoyed and had on my playlist on repeat along with Hellevator. Then YT reccomended me performance stage of Levanter and I noticed handsome beautiful charismatic demon called Hyunjin in it and I needed to know more about him, so I started to watch more and dive deeper and I learned about fandom, biases, companies, streaming, voting and all these stuffs I had no idea before and here I am, 1 year and 9 months later, knowing every kpop group, buying merches and fighting with antis 😂 So Stray Kids was the first group that got me interested in kpop and Hyunjin was the reason I dove deeper and became a STAY 😊 Now I listen to many groups but I am only STAY because I never found any other group as amazing, original, unique, fun, genuine, honest, talented, charismatic, funny and perfect in every aspect as them 🥰

Levanter has some of the best english lyrics out of any kpop song. That was a hard time for Stays, that is when Woojin left, and all of this happened as the comeback was about to come out, so everything had to be refilmed and recut because much of the content already had him in it, and it delayed releases of a lot of it. Its strangely poetic the occurrence happened while releasing this song with this lyrics, but to us it was a really hard time, back then when we had a little more idealism and less realism, we used to say "Nine Or None". The days became brighter again after a while, and I am happy for the Stays like you who could join us these days. Maze of Memories is one of SKZ's underappreciated masterworks, that album was perfection in many ways and this song was one of the crowning jewels.

personally levanter era is the era when everything shifted for skz, one member just left, they need to adapt with all the changes. Han suddenly have to be vocal in the title song.
