Yeah, I promise you Stray Kids can dance circles around the whole k-pop industry. 🤣 Their music videos focus more on storytelling, less on dancing. You can watch dance practices or them on live stages for the full impact of their dancing. Their VMA performance from a couple weeks ago is a good one to check out. Or their MAMA 2022 award show performance. And the deep voice, that’s Felix and 100% him.

Also just to be even more confusing: Straykids are Korean ( ethnically, with two of them being Australien citizens) but the song is a Japanese release. So you’re hearing them singing and rapping in Japanese and English in this one 😂

STRAY KIDS are leaders in 4th Gen. BTS are leaders in 3rd Gen. The two should never be compared as they are like apples and oranges, different but fruit just the same. BOTH groups support each other. That is what i love about K-pop, the artists all support each other. Now for Stray Kids. 8 very talented young men. They have been doing this since they were 16 to 20. 6 years later they are still just 22 to nearly 26 and over 170 songs strong (released) but we all know they have many more than that. BANG CHAN (CHRIS) Australian, leader and genius will be 26 in October. He has over 150 songs registered with KOMCA, and is ranked 1st for 4th gen and 9th overall. He left Australia and his family when he was just 13 to pursue his dream, that is half a lifetime ago for him. This song is about his journey to being a K-pop success. LEE KNOW born in Korea was born to dance. Has been dancing since very young. Was in a dance crew for 6 years, competed at the World of Dance in 2016, back up dancer for BTS. Completed the basic dance course at JYP in a record 2 weeks. National Geographic super star. 😅 He is just 25 in October. CHANGBIN, a rapping giant. Korean. Was the fastest 4th gen rapper until recently at 9.75 syllables per second with his collab Mirror Mirror with Millie and F HERO. Singing voice of an angel. His vocal coach suggested he try out rapping due to his vocal tone and a genius was created. Flow switches, cadences.... unbelievable. He has over 135 songs registered with KOMCA, which puts him right behind Channie. Face of SAMSUNG in Korea. He just turned 24 in August. HAN. Born in Korea but grew up in Malaysia. He is the ACE of K-pop. He doesn't just RAP, SING, DANCE WRITE and PRODUCE, he excels at it all. Very funny, empathetic and a genius. He is not far behind Binnie at 9.13 syllables per second but man, what he can do is simply amazing. He also has just over 130 songs with KOMCA making him 3rd behind the other 2. He just turned 23. CHAN, CHANGBIN and HAN are the producing team. They are known as 3RACHA. They have songs in their own right as 3RACHA away from Stray Kids. They were the foundation of the group. HYUNJIN born in Korea. He was street casted by a scout whilst shopping with his mother just for the way he looked. He had no skills at the time. He has grown into a monster performer. I love his style of RAP. His singing is developing beautifully and he is the 1st prince of K-pop for visuals and dance. He moves like water, fluidly. He is also a LLAMA, drama llama, but we love him for it 😅 Versace Global Ambassador. He just turned 23 in March. FELIX, Australian, always loved to dance. Moved to Korea by himself when he was 17 without knowing Korean. He is the deep voice and our Sunshine. He is regularly found rapping on the tracks but lately has more singing parts. His range goes from low to high and is known for beat boxing and being the most non-annoying mosquito. 😅 Louis Vitton House Ambassador. He turns 23 the day after HAN. We call them our sunshine twins. SEUNGMIN, Korean. Has the most unique vocal tone. Very serious/diligent artist, always strives for improvement and just when you think he's the best he can be he surprises us again. Has several OSTs for K DRAMAS and is my favourite singer in the group. He also turns 23 this month. I.N. (YANG JEONG-IN) Korean. The MAKNAE (Youngest) of the group. Funnily enough probably the most mature, lol. He also has a unique vocal tone, very expressive with stage presence, can eat a whole ass pizza slice in one bite, 😅 Loves TROT music and is simply adorable. He turned 22 in February. All the members can sing, dance, RAP and write songs. Along with 3RACHA some members are also learning production skills. That is my intro to my boys. For further details I suggest you watch TEANOSUGAR 2023. It's long but STAYS will sit through it with you. We LOVE watching a new STAY being born and we are very proud of our boys. ❤ As for you liking hip hop and rap, these boys are for you. Try MUDDY WATER for a start, only 4 members participate but it will show you what they can do. Then try 3 RACHA and WE GO, that's 3 members. But for everyone, do TOPLINE or MAZE OF MEMORIES. That is just the tip. Oh, and subbed to see your rabbit hole journey. Also, when you are ready to expand to other groups, just ask us, we'll only be too happy to help you out.

Stray Kids is a kpop group, but they have some Japanese songs like Social Path, these songs don't have subtitles, just the Korean ones. Regarding the anime vibe, I believe it was intentional since LiSA is a very famous singer in Japan for anime intros, like Demon Slayer. And all Kpop groups know how to dance. And yes, Felix's voice can reach very low tones. Some retakes of songs by Stray Kids S-Class, Gods Menu, Back Door, Thunderous, Maniac, Venom, Miroh. They have so many good songs.

Thanks for giving Stray Kids a go. They actually just won best K-pop at the VMAs with S Class the title track off their latest album 5 Star. You should definitely give them another go with that song and there are many others too. This song gave anime vibes because it was actually a Japanese release though it had a lot of English in it. They are a high energy rap heavy group with a lot of music genre and styles woven throughout their discography. They also go down to vocally driven ballads, some hip hop and RNB amongst others. They are a 4th generation group and commonly referred to as the top 4th generation boy group. K-pop runs in generations where groups debut over a period of maybe 5-7 years. BTS is the top 3rd generation group. They really can’t be fully compared because whilst they are both K-pop, they also have their unique flavours. Stray Kids look up to BTS as their seniors in the industry but they do their own thing when it comes to producing and writing. The producing subunit of Stray Kids, called 3RACHA just performed at the Global Citizen a festival in New York with a few of their rap songs and one group song. Hope to see you dig into more of SKZ.

Yep, that's Felix and it's his real voice. Also, about dancing..Just as someone who's never been into Kpop and Stray Kids just single-handedly dragged me into it , and as a prof.dancer myself, I think I can be trusted if I say that STRAY KIDS have one of the most difficult choreographies in Kpop and they're INCREDIBLY TALENTED dancers. If you check out their other MVs and Dance practices , you'll definitely take that back :D Thanks for giving it a go though... If you like rap you are going to like Stray Kids. Two of the members, Changbin and Han, are considered to be amongst the fastest rappers in Korea. They are also two thirds of 3Racha, the official producers of Stray Kids, along the leader Bang Chan. But both of them also have great vocals with Han, the all-rounder ace, taking some of the highest notes in many of their songs. His solo songs always end up in my playlist. I would recommend some of 3Racha rap songs, like "3Racha" and "Heyday" as well as their older "Zone" and "We Go." But also listen to "Topline" which features another legendary Korean rapper, Tiger J.K. They also have Felix, one of the deepest voices in any K-pop group, some say it's the deepest. And when it comes to dancing, Lee Know was a professional dancer before becoming a trainee and joining Stray Kids. But another member, Hyunjin, is also considered one of the top dancers in K-Pop and has two self-choreographed solo dance videos. His Studio Choom Artist of the Month dance video has 40 million views. Felix, with twelve years of taekwondo experience, is worthy of being the third member of the dance sub-unit affectionately named DanceRacha by the fans. Their "Taste" performance is something to behold. But none of the Stray Kids members are to be ignored. They are famous for being a group where ALL members can sing, rap, and dance. Where BTS is considered the leaders of the 3rd generation, Stray Kids is the well-deserved leader of the 4th generation. But they are not to be compared to each other, as their styles are completely different. Stray Kids are considered their own genre. That's why a lot of SKZ songs' lyrics talk about being the only ones, etc. They may have imitators now, but they created a unique sound, and they are the originals. Stray Kids performed the beginning and the end songs for the Tower of God anime and LiSA is legendary as an anime OST singer, so I'm not surprised you got those vibes from this song. I have watched K-dramas for a long time, and became familiar with K-pop by looking up the groups that some of the actors were in, like EXO, Shinee, BTS, SF9, etc. Through the years I added some of their songs to my playlists, but it wasn't until Stray Kids that I became a fan of a particular group. For me, they are in a category of their own.

SKZ is an eight-member group that debuted in 2018 and is full of their own personality. They are famous for making and producing songs themselves. RU-vid somehow deleted my comment before so I'll just comment again.... Thanks for checking out Stray Kids ❤ In MVs they usually focusing more on the story telling & show very little dance. If you want to see them dancing try watching their dance practices & live stage performances. Most Stray Kids' fans will find you say that "they only dance enough" funny cause Stray Kids is known for their energetic & hard hitting dance choreo, though I feel that recently they kinda toned it down. For Social Path, you can try checking out their Venue101 performance, they show the full dance choreo there. One of the must listened to from Stray Kids is God's Menu, followed by Back Door & Thunderous. I'll also recommend Domino (no MV, search for the dance practice), Easy (MV, but watch the dance practice anyway), Hellevator, District 9, S-Class. Also, just a warning: try not to compare groups, or even mentioning other groups' name really. Some fans are overly sensitive, & honestly Stray Kids got compared to BTS enough already. BTS is BTS, Stray Kids is Stray Kids, each of them is unique, please don't compare them. Lastly, if you want to see their real stage presence, check out their 2023 K-CON & Lollapalooza performances.

They can dance (this is just one song), rap (best 4th gen rappers), and sing, and they have great personalities. That is his real voice, his name is Felix. Since they produce all of their songs, they are inspired from different genres, so I recommend you explore this group a bit more before you decide if you like them. Hello! 😊 Okay so Stray Kids are UNIQUE, and this video doesn't really showcase how amazing their dancing can be too. 😊 They also write and produce their own music. Also when I say unique, you'll understand more when you watch more of their music videos. They are unique in the sense they always blow your socks off with their talent and creativity. I'm actually a new Stay (Stray Kids fan name) and absolutely floored with how great their music is. One of the biggest reactions to Stray Kids is how different and hitting they are compared to other K Pop groups. They have their own unique style. I recommend watching God's Menu and Backdoor as a duo first (many fans understand why!) And other top favs are Maniac, Thunderous, and S-Class. Those are best to start with. These ones will show you how clever these 8 men are, and the amazing choreo and transitions in their music videos too. 😊 And yes, they are a Korean K-Pop group, and Felix is the one with the deep voice that is one hundred percent natural. 😊 He and the group leader Bang Chan are actually Australian too and moved to Korea to pursue a K-Pop career. 😁 I hope you react to another Stray Kids song soon! 😊

I'd wait to comment on their dancing until you see more of their stuff, no hate at all. But SKZ dance leader, Lee Know, used to be in a dance crew with some of the most famous choreographers in kpop (some of which include BTS choreographers such as Bada Lee). He was a dancer before he was an idol & he was a dancer for BTS before Stray Kids lol so I don't believe that BTS are better at all, just different in styles. Again no hate to you I'm just trying to let you know before you get attacked by someone lol. But yeah, all of them can dance, sing, and rap (Changbin is the fastest rapper in Kpop right now with 11.16 sps). And they have one of the widest vocal ranges in Kpop with three of the best vocalists from the 4th generation of Kpop!! You are new to K-pop, so I get you don't really understand or know. Most people react to K-pop because of BTS and hearing K-pop for the first time even though K-pop has been international for decades. All K-pop groups and idols are trained it dance and singing. Some more than others, and some are naturals. Because you don't see much dancing on a video does not mean they can't dance just as good as other groups or that they don't have choro for the song. One of the stray kids members Lee Know was a backup dancer for BTS a short time. He also trained and competited in dance nationally. 2 members are from Australia, and most of the other members speak good English. Felix (the deep voice) was born in Australia, and that is his voice with no alterations on it. He can sing very low or high and even in-between. Please don't compare any Asian groups with other Asian groups. They are all hard working and very talented. I understand you like what you like but please don't compare them. Stray kids is a self producing group, meaning they write, compose, arrange, and produce 99.9% of their own music. They love to experiment with beat changes, melodies, unique sounds, and genres. They are not your typical group and embracing their odd selfs while encouraging others to also be themselves. This song was off their Japanese album, which they never have subtitles for Japanese videos. All their Korean music videos will have subtitles. And BTW, they are a rap heavy group but have amazing vocals, and all of them can sing, dance, and rap. They just performed on the VMA awards and won 2023 best Korean pop award. They also have some of the best choro. Please be respectful to all groups that make amazing music and work very hard for their dreams and craft Please don't be one of those reactors to only react to BTS to boost your numbers or count. Be true o the music and your self

You will know when you listen to: S-class God's menu Maniac Thunderous Case 143 Venom Etc

I totally understand what you are saying about not being into kpop because it's not what you grew up on. My introduction to kpop was Psy Gangnam Style and I knew 4 songs from BTS only from American award shows. But I didn't start listening to kpop because of either of them. It wasn't until I saw a tiktok with a guy reacting to Felix's deep voice in Maniac that I discovered Stray Kids and found a real appreciation for kpop.

Stray Kids is a Korean group of 8 members. Japanese releases do not have English captions. All 8 members are able to dance, rap, sing, and have most of them have solo works too. SKZ (aka Stray Kids) write their own music and are involved in every aspect of their music production including the MVs. They have been around since 2018. Their music hits every type of genre you can think of but they are considered "mala taste". As for Felix's deep voice, that's his true voice. Please don't compare Stray Kids to BTS, they are two different groups and styles completely. Comparing them would be like comparing Tupac to Missy Elliot. It makes no sense. lol

i don’t think stray kids focuses on dance as much as bts. they love making music the most. if u watch their behind the album interviews it shows how they mostly care about their lyrics, sound/instruments and messages. they for sure love performing but with different perspectives… more rock n roll vibes. the reason I love their music cos i love ROCK more than pop or hiphop music..if that makes sense

Since everyone else is telling you all about Stray Kids, I’ll tell you a little about LiSA. You keep mentioning this gives anime vibes, which is ironic bc LiSA actually does A LOT of super iconic anime openings, like Demon Slayer. She’s a super popular Japanese musician and I think she really gives this song a spark it would’ve been missing otherwise.

This song is dedicated and respected to the featuring vocalist LiSA who’s know as the queen of Anime songs like Damon Slayer. The fact that Stray Kids can produce a song that sounds like anime opening song and still having their own color is special. Stray Kids produce a lot of hip hop music too. Try ‘Topline’ and ‘Easy’, it’s their b-side track but it’s good.

I know it's been a few weeks and you've been reacting since, but at around 2:00 you asked if they're Korean too. Yes, they're all Korean but two members are Australian citizens. However, THIS song is in Japanese! They have a few releases in Japanese in addition to their mostly Korean discography. They also mix a bunch of English lines into their music and have a few all-English songs as well.

I would like to clarify some important things about them, (I don't speak English and it may be long comment). Stray kids are a hip hop group, mixing EDM and rock. And also adding some other music elements, making productions that are somewhat different from what we are used to hearing in K-pop. This is why they had a very difficult time in their beginnings as a group, because they did not simply adapt to what most K-popers were used to. Their songs are not usually the typical 'catchy' pop song. And in this one they blended in with Lisa's style. She is an anime opening singer, nd this song represents both of their styles very well. In Kpop, groups are divided into 'generations', BTS is part of the 3rd generation. And as K-pop became more well-known, more groups emerged, and the competition grew. So when the 4th generation came, Stray kids's company try to 'draw attention' with a group like them. K-pop has always been highly criticized by many foreigners for its way of training and preparing its artists, calling them 'robots'. So basically Stray kids was an 'experiment' by their company in an attempt to offer 'something more' and 'different'. This company is more pop-oriented and is better known for its girl groups. So the 'style' they have is due to themselves. They were trained to sing and dance just like the rest of the Kpop groups. But with more added work. The fact that their company gave approval to a group like them has to do with their past before the group was formed. Chan (the leader) 2:41, had been a trainee for 7 years, and he was more than ready to make his debut, so the company left it up to him to choose his members, basically letting him create his own group, and make their own music as well (along side with another two members, the three of them called 3RACHA).Then '3RACHA' exists before 'Stray kids', and everything just went from there. Chan took dance classes including ballet and modern dance in a school of performing Arts as a child, and already played some instruments, also at this time he began to have an interest in composing music. When he was 13 years old was acepted to become a kpop trainee, and when he went to live to Korea he became friends with an older trainee who understood a lot about composing, and he started asking him for feedback every time he wrote something. Then when he met 3RACHA members they took the company's MIDI production classes. And meanwhile, another member (Han)1:57, apart from being a trainee, was in a music academy. Then there is Changbin 1:34. When he entered the company he began to train as vocalists, only for a teacher to tell him that 'his voice sounded like he could be good raper', so he decided to change and train as a raper (he loved rap so much bf). So these three became interested in production and started creating their beats. And I think it was without the company knowing that they started sending some tracks in the community post of a Korean online hip hop magazine, so random ppl could give them feedback. At first they didn't have very good opinions, but they humbly said that they would strive to improve and find their own 'color'.They even participated in an event along with other rappers (I don't know exactly more details about this) although they didn't win. but they work hard and after a while they started to get positive comments there and some praise. And later came the time when they participated in a survival show to see if they were ready to debut. These guys worked a lot, and tried very hard to be different from many other groups...

Okay I’ve just come across your channel and I saw the second video you did about stray kids and I was dumbfounded when I saw the title saying “can they dance” and when I watched this video you said you wasn’t comparing but just because you say your not comparing doesn’t mean the words you say aren’t comparing words. That’s like me saying I would much rather watch Ben Kim and not you because he’s funnier and your not or he doesn’t pause the video as much as you. Things like are comparing words. So you saying that when you saw stray kids in this mv dancing for less than 10 seconds and you automatically thought that they couldn’t dance as good as bts or that they could dance at all when if you were to actually take 5 minutes out of your time to search up k-pop you would know that almost every k-pop idol sings and dances and if you was a good reactor you would at least do your research about the groups you react to because in the mv you don’t really see them dancing for real and everybody knows that you are supposed to watch the dance practice before saying anything about their dancing. And if it’s about k-pop I warn you that they have fandoms and the fandoms don’t play about their k-pop idols and they will come for you so even though this is your channel you should be mindful of that and of the things you say and of the idols too because the things you said can really impact and affect them.

LiSA is a really popular Japanese artist on her own, and has done anime OSTs. That and the fact that a number of Stray Kids members are big anime fans likely colored the tone of the song. As others have said, they're a flavor of their own, and there's a fairly wide variety of styles in their discography. God's Menu was the first song of theirs I heard, and I was a goner from the first notes. Everything since then has been so much fun. If you like rap-heavy songs (I was not a huge rap fan before Kpop, but something about the Korean language lends itself to rap so beautifully), the song 3Racha by their producing subunit, 3Racha, is a great listen. Heydey -- a song they did for a dance group competition -- is another amazing track. Muddy Waters, The Tortoise and the Hare as well. Most of the Japanese videos do not include subtitles for English, and I don't really know the reasons, but their Korean releases almost always have subtitles. You can also find lyric videos for almost any of their songs that give English translations and Romanised pronounciations of Korean. I hope whichever direction you go in listening to them, that you enjoy it. Thanks for checking out SKZ!
