I've never clicked so fast on a video as I did here, guess I'm a simple woman: I see SKZ on your channel, I click. Thanks for the reaction and for your support towards the boys, I'm really enjoying every moment of it. The fun fact of the day is that this song actually incorporates various traditional korean instruments and the MV brings a lot of the korean culture. As you noticed, the track has many different sounds on it's composition, something they do very frequently in their discography, which is why some critics labeled their music as "noisy" or "construction music". Stray Kids then decided to embrace that label and turn it into their own thing, even naming their last album "NOEASY" as a word play for "noisy". If you are interested in their dancing you should check some dance practices and Hyunjin's Artist of The Month for Studio Choom. Again recommending their performances on Kingdom such as I'LL BE YOUR MAN, MIROH and WOLFGANG. If you have any doubts let us know and we'll be happy to help. Good luck on your journey!! Looking forward to your next Stray Kids videos (please do a guide soon) Song recommendations: ANY, SIDE EFFECTS, NEVERENDING STORY, CHRISTMAS EVEL, WINTER FALLS, MIXTAPE: OH, MY PACE, EASY, DOMINO, VICTORY SONG, MIROH, EX
Ugh I loved ur reaction, it reminds me of why I love watching new people react to Stray Kids💝✨ Gives me nostalgia & it's cool seeing people understand why I appreciate & love them
I seriously think you would enjoy a members guide from them so you can get to know who they are and why they do music. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PYOsihpdNGU.html Also, a lot of stays have probably mentioned it but all of their songs have a storyline that connect together which you would probably enjoy. You could look up the order of how to listen to the songs and find the hidden message that adds to the story. They made their songs about their journey and made it fun for stays to follow along. So I really recommend starting from the very beginning and looking up how to listen.
Stray Kids are the absolute best. They are insanely talented and incredible performers. K-pop groups need to perform the same song over and over when they’re promoting new singles and it can get pretty redundant. Stray Kids take liberties in remixing their own songs for new performances because they can! You should react to the Victory Song MV and then watch how they performed/remixed it at MAMA (an awards show) in 2020- where they were not nominated for ANY awards but literally stole the show with a single performance. *also need to note that Victory Song is a B-side song on their album- meaning it’s not a leading single* Also their performance at MAMA 2021 where they remixed Thunderous. Their MVs are awesome, but we can’t sleep on their live performances because they bring a SHOW every single time! They are the most versatile performers to come out of k-pop because it’s all organically created. Also, my bias is HAN- get to know them! They’re all unique and so talented.
They insane seriously!! Wait till you see their Wolfgang performance and I'll be Your Man too... I'm still not over any of them. Also Easy and Domino should be in the list of next song reactions✨
Seriously, they are one of my three ult group. They're insane and i know you're gonna love Domino, Cheese, Double Knot, Easy, Victory Song, Wolfgang and Miroh! Pleaaase react to Monsta X and ATEEZ as well, they're the other of my ult groups! THEY ARE SO FRICKING AMAZING TOO!!! So from ATEEZ please check out Wonderland, Hala Hala, The Real and I'm the One (Fireworks) and as for Monsta X please react to Rush Hour, Gambler, Beastmode and Love Killa. I could just keep on recommending MVs and songs but let's start with those. Thank you again for your great reactions!
thank u for a good reaction!! love it. i love skz and how different their music is, if you want to listen to a rap sogn then: maze of memories, if you want a only vocal song then 24 to 25. but i love all their songs so cant wait for the next reaction video :D love from Denmark
i loved you reaction, you HAVE to react to wolfgang and playing with fire (it’s a cover but the dance of hyunjin there is amazinggggg) !!! greetings from mexico 🤍
I finally subscribed due to your embarrassing moment. You definitely picked something up from Stray Kids when you spit yourself then rubbed your palms together. 😂🤣
"Thunderous" is a diss track, a clapback at the haters who sneer at Stray Kids' so-called "noise music". Thunderous", about shutting the haters and antis, because they don't need to be great. And that Suttle movement with the bent arms, are them Laughing at All of the Haters. They're saying that they're going to keep experimenting and making the music they want to make, no matter what people say about them. Now, all of this is actually a parallel to Stray Kids real life story. When they debuted they weren't that much successful. And during all their career they've been heavily criticized for the different sound they bring to kpop. They are just to different for society to like them. This didn't stop them, and after "God's Menu" they've managed to grow a lot, therefore transforming themselves in real life Sorikkun "Thunderous".
I'd highly recommend Dreamcatcher since you like impactful music. Dreamcatcher is so full of talent it's insane. A good song to start with is Scream since it's the first part to the dystopia trilogy (Scream, Boca, and Odd Eye).
Loved your reaction. Would you please react to Christmas evel, kingdom legandary war, double knot, victory song, Easy, cheese, Domino, any, all in, district 9 and all the other good stuff 🥰
Loved ur reaction. U should react to more kingdom performances like I'll be your man and Wolfgang. Also I think you will like songs like domino, cheese, easy, miroh, victory song, red lights etc
Thank you for reacting to Skz. Hope you can react to a quick and helpful guide an introduction to stray kids to get to know more of the group and each members.
Ok I know that you are new to k pop, so fans will always help you out so that u can understand k pop a little more. First off, there are different "generations" of k pop. Now k pop actually started in the 90's with a group called Seo Taiji and the Boys. And that was the start of the first generation. Currently we are now in 4th generation, in which Stray Kids and several other groups leading the way...groups like ITZY, AESPA, and ATEEZ... Now, Stray Kids are not the only ones that produce, write, and create beats for their music...there are two major things you have to remember about k pop. Every group...and I mean EVERY group weather a guy group or girl group have rappers, and the more members, more rappers...in Stray Kids, there are two main rappers, Changbin and Han, there are others in the group that are sub rappers like Felix and even Chan. And second, they all of choreographery. I would have to say at least 98% of k pop groups dance. They train for years before debut. Now, there are many groups that write, produce and in some cases choreographery. One of the first to do so is Big Bang. And in Korea, the are considered the "Nations Boy Group." There are 4 members and two are rappers. G Dragon and T.O.P. (Who BTW, is one of the fastest rappers in Korea.) There is also several other groups, groups that write and produce their own music....like BTS, Seventeen (there are 13 members in this group and they take care of everything when it comes to their music, including their choreographery.) There is also MonstaX, like Stray Kids they were put together through a survival program. Now a lot of fans believe that their two rappers, Jooheon and I.M. are two of the technically amazing rappers in Korea....another group that are writers and producers of their own music is also a 4th generation group called ATEEZ (pronounced A-tease.) And keep in mind both Stray Kids and ATEEZ are friends. Two of them Changbin from SKZ and Wooyoung of ATEEZ have known each other since high school and are very good friends. There is one group that doesn't write or produce, but I believe they could if given a chance...that would be NCT....I don't think your quite ready for NCT...there are 23 members and 4 sub groups...and the company is working on a 5th group. But they are known for their vocals and dancing abilities... One of the things that bug me about k pop, the girl groups don't really get the chance to write or produce their own songs...there are a few soloists that do, like CL, and I.U. add to that list Hyuna and Jessi. But as for the groups...they don't get much say in the songs they get to do....and I believe there are a couple that would surprise a lot of people...like Blackpink, Red Velvet, and even Twice, Aespa, and ITZY.. There is so much to k pop, and so many groups....limiting yourself to just one really isn't fair to u. They have such amazing groups...and I only named a handful. There are so many more... I'm sorry that this post was so long...I just wanted to give you some info about k pop that you might not known about...but I do hope that some of this helped you understand why k pop is so popular...
Please react Stray Kids MV: - Hellevator (Pre-debut song) - District 9 (Debut song) - My Pace - I Am You - Miroh - Side Effects - Double Knot - Levanter - all in (Japan song) - Scars (Japan song) Thank you!
Ok, the other reactions had enough comments by the time I watched that I figured you wouldn't see any info I posted. But there are few enough on this new one that maybe you'll see this. It's driving me nuts that comments in the previous reactions gave you misinformation, so I'm seizing my chance to clarify a few things. These are things that newcomers are so commonly misinformed about that I literally keep a document on hand with these corrections so I don't have to retype them every single time a new person starts listening to SKZ and gets hit with wrong info from commenters and guides. - Despite frequent mis-statements, 3RACHA are the producing unit, not the rap line. They happen to consist of three rappers, two of whom are the most frequent rappers in SKZ; and they're a rap trio that existed before SKZ and still performs together as a rap trio outside of/adjacent to SKZ. But their role _within_ SKZ is producing unit. - There aren't official positions anymore, other than leader. One of the many ways in which SKZ is different is that set positions were explicitly removed from the group; every member is a versatile all-rounder, and they move around to fill different roles in different songs, depending on what they want and what each song requires. If they could only pick one thing to do at a given moment, Danceracha/the dance line would generally choose to focus on dance, Vocalracha/the vocal line would generally choose to focus on vocals, and 2/4 of the primary rap line would generally choose to rap. But the third most frequent rapper? He's part of Danceracha. So's the fourth most frequent rapper. And the fifth. (Which means all three "dancers" are the primary lead/sub-rappers, or what would be called lead/sub-rappers in a group with official positions.) The third member of 3RACHA, who is very much a rapper when performing with just 3RACHA as a rap trio, rarely raps much in SKZ songs; despite being a part of 3RACHA, he does more vocals than rap when performing with SKZ as a whole, and all three Danceracha guys rap more often than he does. The go-to guy to sing the extended high notes? He's not in Vocalracha -- he's in 3RACHA and is one of the two most frequent rappers (what would be the main rappers in a group with official positions). The acknowledge prettiest falsetto is one of the Danceracha guys (who, remember, are the third, fourth, and fifth most frequent rappers). The "shock everyone with his deep voice" guy is also a Danceracha member. The member of Vocalracha who'd be the main vocalist in a group with official positions is on record as speaking faster than the two most frequent rappers (both of whom are in the top level of fastest 4th-gen rappers), and he's filled in for one of them on main rap parts in a major performance, in addition to having his own rap parts in multiple songs. SKZ flexed -- twice -- by sending their _rappers_ to sing on Masked Singer. So despite the terms still getting thrown around in casual reference by both STAY and SKZ, there's no longer actually an official lead vocal or main dancer or whatever. We and SKZ use the terms as shorthand because we generally know who's being talked about in what context, but it's unofficial. So don't get attached to assigning anyone to a position in your mind. It'll 1] just mess up your comprehension, and 2] literally be wrong, since they really, truly, officially don't exist in SKZ. Chan had a lot of years to watch and listen in JYP training, and he collected an entire group of all-rounders when he got the chance to take his pick of the lot. Anyway, the positions thing is one of my biggest peeves about the information that gets provided to new listeners, so please forgive me for overexplaining while trying to drive the point home.
Eventually either a commenter or a guide is going to tell you that SKZ were formed through a survival show. They were not. The leader, Chan, handpicked the members himself -- literally the only time we know of when a group in this industry has ever been formed this way. Standard procedure is that companies select the members from among their trainees and they put the groups together. Period. That's simply the way things are done. So SKZ is already unique just based on how they were chosen. Sometimes part of the way companies form groups is through survival shows, where they select or eliminate various trainees from among a pool of potential members, and the ones who remain at the end are the group. (I apologize if you already know some of this.) SKZ did have a survival show, but this too was unique -- their show was the nine members of their self-made group going through various challenges to prove their readiness and earn the right to debut together as their already-existing group. It was "do you all get to debut together?" instead of the usual "compete among you to see who gets to be in the group."
