I'm gonna cry, this song is like a big hug whenever you feel bad 😭💕

I year ago in June I was going through the worst period of my life, I had spoken out to my school about my dad abuse towards me. After school he was arrested and spent the night in jail, following that he was let out on bail and wasn't allowed to see anybody under the age of 18 that included me and one of my 2 brothers who was 16 at the time. My birthday is June 24th, back then I wish I knew who Stray Kids was and that there was a boy band out there who knew what depression and pain felt like, I wish I knew there was a song just a few days before my birthday to show me I truly wasn't alone. Maybe then I wouldn't have sought other ways to deal with my pain, looking back on it I'm glad those ideas I had to forget my pain failed. Because last month I found Stray Kids, and I've found this song. I now know that back then when I thought nobody was by my side, even if I didn't know it, Stray Kids was. I'm forever thankful, even if I'm new to the fandom this band has made me feel so loved already and I'm happy to be apart of Stay

When I discovered this song randomly on Spotify, it was like a miracle itself. I was sitting in an empty room at the university after an unpleasant encounter with my professor. Let's say I heard hurtful things and that made me question my worth so badly. I let Spotify decide anything to distract my mind and that's when I discovered this gem. Trust me, I felt so much comfort in a song. It felt like someone who don't even know I exist is patting my head. And in a way, that led me to dig deeper into SKZ and finally, I'm a STAY! 🍁

This is such a beautiful song. I only started watching SKZ videos a few days ago out of curiosity and that's when I'm finally able to call myself a Stay despite that I'm already a 39-year-old single mom. I just found this MV today, and it made me feel better. Life hasn't been kind, losing my job almost 2 months ago. But I'm thankful still to those who love and support my son and me. I used to berate myself, feeling so worthless, but I realized that there's no reason to feel that way. I've been through storms before, so I shouldn't be fearful of raindrops anymore. I still have hope that things will change for the better. Thank you, SKZ for this song.
