thanks for the tutorial! im having a weird problem (dunno if any of u encountered it). you see i have zero lag when max avatars are set to 80, but it lags when i reduce avatars to 20 (yeah i know, weird). maybe something on my settings??

Hey I tried to download the Pokémon one above smash bros and when I tried to connect it it wouldn’t let me cuz it gave me a message error about having not enough storage something like that. Any suggestions
I w had this error when I downloaded too many avatars, you exceeded the memory limit. You can manually delete them if you know how to manually go into your files or you can reset everything from the stream avatars app
Not sure if this has been asked before, but it this APP hardware hungry? I'm planning on using this on one PC while streaming and was wondering if its okay to do so. thanks in advance
So I can not figure out how to make stream avatars transparent the option is not popping up when I go to stream Apex the avatars background covers the screen so you can't see game am I doing something wrong???
Is there a way to make it so you have to pay for different skins of avatar. Example: if I make a shiny Pokémon can I make it so it cost 500 gold for that certain cosmetic
Welp followed all the directions here in 2024 and ..........nothing. No avatars. I downloaded both the FF7 one and the Palworld one and they didn't working. Sooo idk.

Somebody else on the Mac had the same issue. So when you start Stream Avatars application you will have to change the background of it to green and then in OBS you will use the chroma key feature

Hello, and thank you so very much for your in depth and easy to follow guide for Stream Avatars. I was wondering, though. I noticed that your user interface is not at 1920 x 1080 but a smaller sized window, and I was wondering how you did this as I have tried fiddling around with the settings. But if I resize the user interface window manually it also changes the size of the Stream Avatars showing in my stream, which is what I do not want as I would prefer the user interface window to be smaller but the application itself in OBS to be 1920 x 1080. Do you find this distracts your viewers from what you actually stream? Did you see an increase in viewer retention/length when using this? It is an interesting concept...
No distraction in my case. You can scale the avatars to any size you want or if you wanted to just add them too a brb or starting soon screen. People love to start battle royals, accumulate gold and spend that gold on cosmetics
how do you change the avatars pack? like if i have a pokemon one but now i want to change it to block man how did you get the extension to say what you wrote there? i cant even get passed the part where it says "click to authorize"
Hey man, great video I used this a while back to set it up. But now having problems as it’s just a constant black screen and nothing is showing up. Have you got any idea how to fix this? I’ve tried deleting the source, running obs administrator, completely restarting stream avatars and deleted the cashe in obs but still not working again 😩
Yeah you just have to use the extension under your twitch channel once it’s installed. Or if you do the !avatars command it’ll tell you the avatars you have

so i seen you chose youtube as your platform but then got the twitch stream extension so does that work to help implement the program cuz subs dont appear on youtube when they talk in chat nothing spawns

Basically if I’m gettin what your saying. You can choose who gets an avatar by default. So if you want anyone who follows to get one or if you only want subscribers to have one

Hmmm 🤔 should be able to do 2 instances of game capture, if not you can do a window capture and change the background inside of the stream avatars app to green. And then apply a filter to that window source called chroma key.
Thank you for this great tutorial! Everything worked perfeclty fine on my pc! I do have a question though: If my viewer were to watch on a mobile device, how can they get a avatar? Because I checked on mobile and it didn't show my stream avatar panel^^
Hey man! This video is so awesome, it helps a lot! I have 2 questions : 1- in avatar and gears when you pick a character, and you go to "allowed gears" you need to click in every single gear so it will be available for this character, if I don't do that, that particular character won't have any gear to purchase, is this correct? If it is, how can I do it massively , I have like 400 characters and it will take me a whole week of clicking. Lol
The 2nd one is, I saw a streamer a while ago that gave the stream coins when there is a follower or a subscriber, so people can buy stuff, how can I edit this command? For example when someone follows/subscribe I wanna give everybody a certain amount of coins. In advance thank you a lot!!
Gears that come with the character packs usually come available to already use. The unchecked gears you see for those sprites are Typically the gears that are for other sprite packs if that makes sense
