I’m looking for a way to use shortcuts for commonly used applications. Cut, paste, page forward, page back, select all, etc….. i’m sure of the things that I will find along the way. My problem is that I want to use this on my work PC. I need to be able to use my personal PC to program the deck and have it run without software work PC. It’s locked I can install anything. will the stream deck work for this?
Robby, I want to start a video podcast with 2 people. I need the ability to play segments of pre-recorded interviews and then the 2 people will discuss. I'm recording into a Zoom H6 and not using a computer for the podcast. Will Stream Deck work for me? Thanks in advance for your help. Chris
Hey Chris thanks for the question. You’ll need a computer to get the streamdeck to work. I assume with a video podcast your editing and putting it all together afterwards? You might check out streamdecks mobile app and see if you can load the clips there then add them in post. If you were using a computer during recording/filming I’d say you could do it through OBS and control the podcast that way.
If you're on a Mac you could create a shortcut hotkey using the keyboard shortcut ⌘+Q Then if you have the app open, you could press that and close the app.
