Ever since he became free of vince always telling him what to say in his headset, Michael Cole has been delivering the greatest work of his WWE Commentary Career period! He is having genuine fun out there now.
@@DragonHeart613 He used to always say "Sports entertainment" and use all of Vince's language, but tonight when Cody won, he said "I love Professional Wrestling."
@@SilentHotdog28 "the Reign of Terror" was the nickname given to Triple H's terrible run as top heel and WHC on Raw from 2002 to 2006 where it was just The Triple H show and buried Kane, RVD, Booker T and many other popular potential top contenders for the world title.
@@FaysalIsGoated Oh it's fantastic, that streamer who kicked his chair over.......hilarious. Mmmmm those tears were nice and salty. How much longer did they want him to hold it? I don't get it.
@SilentHotdog28 well he wasn't crying because he lost he cried because he saw one of the most iconic reigns and storyline come to an end and the new era and story of Cody begins
I can see him holding that cut out in his background and crying himself to sleep! 😂 Anyways, what a title reign! Legendary! But it's Cody's time now! ❤
Samantha cried twice when Sami Zayn won Now when Cody won. She cried because she relates with Cody's story of making her family member proud absolutely amazing. Thank you Samantha, Thank you Cory Graves, Wade Barrett, Pat MacAfee and Michael Cole. Thank you WWE Just an amazing moment
No it’s not that shit is cringy and unprofessional as shit wtff😭😭 why would an announcer be crying? There supposing to be unbiased. Shit sounds horrible
That's what his dumbass gets if he honestly thought Cody was going to lose. Guy really thought they had Cody win two rumbles back to back and build him up for a whole year even making him go up against The Rock, just to make him lose again?
Dusty Rhodes is somewhere in heaven looking on, proud of his son. Congrats to Cody Rhodes on finishing the story and fulfilling the prophecy! I was watching this downstairs with my Mom on my step dad’s PS5, and I jumped out of the couch for joy, almost losing my voice. This is no doubt the best WrestleMania I will never forget for the rest of my life. Straight up Avengers Endgame! 😆😭😭👏
@@trelos7431 Yep, in the past he would say stupid shit like "OH MY" and ruin the moment. But now he finishes what he wants to say and has gone to levels we haven't seen him go to before. I always knew he "Could" be a great commentator, but he was always under the thumb of Vince, now he can say what he wants and it's fantastic.
@@SilentHotdog28no he wouldn’t in the past he would do the exact same thing . “The streak is over” on the last Michael Cole would do exactly what he’s doing and now and has been doing for years what are you talking about lmfaoooo weirdos I swear 😭😭
What Did his crusty ass think Roman should hold the fucking title forever ... it’s been 3 plus fucking years. I hope he lost a lot of money betting because how lame if he’s really that upset. It was the perfect way for Romans title reign to end. As a Roman fan you gotta love it. It would have been a disservice to Roman and his title reign for it to not end here.
When it's done well, there is no form of entertainment that can match pro wrestling. Michael Cole said it best at the closing moments of Mania 40 "Damn it. I love professional wrestling."
@@TowDow3 seriously? Yesteryears cinema I might agree with but you seriously believe that the absolute utter shite that Hollywood is releasing today is even comparable to what happened last night at mania? Maybe it's just me but mate, I haven't watched a single second of new Hollywood content since maybe late 2021. But I haven't missed a single day of content from the Triple H era1 of WWE since around that time as well. Landscapes changing. Less and less people give a shit about movies. The future is VR and Video games in terms of storytelling and at the very least Pro Wrestling keeps innovating and escalating and adapting to give the fans what they want. Cinema went down the drain a while ago mate, catch up.
@@TowDow3Id agree with you but having seen most of the best movies released the past couple of years, none of em moved me like this. It was a three year payout teased nearly every month or week essentially with 70,000 people to react live, the feeling of being invested in this story is not really something that can be replicated by movies. That's not taking anything away from movies, it just doesnt happen like this with movies cause of the setting movies are consumed in when you go see them. WWE shows live are just wild amazing energy.
Always nice to see a Roman fan getting humbled, we wanted change, we had hope for Cody and we've come so far. We got it! ^^ Congratulations Cody, you deserve it!
I'll admit I was never a Cody Rhodes fan and wanted to see Roman retain. But the way the ending played out and the reaction from everyone is what WrestleMania is all about.
If Cody didn't win though......then they'd essentially have to have Roman hold it for at least another year......and in the process of having him retain, they would bury Cody and his credibility forever......his career would literally be done.....They would yet again shit all over the fans and the title will start to become worthless.......Because as time has gone by, Roman has defended less and less......There would also be the question of who do you have to take it? The only right person was Cody.
@@Kayfabe-Clips I'm not sure if it's my favourite, but definitely right up there. I think being there in person when Buddy Murphy won the Cruiserweight Championship in Melbourne, Victoria. Where like him, I was born and raised......that was probably my favourite.
@@collinjay7108 I don't know. It's definitely a toss up between Cody and Drew for who the hardest worker in WWE is. Drew's worked longer but helping start up a brand new company and working as an EVP is an extremely difficult task. Regardless, I really hope Drew gets his well deserved World Title run by next year's WrestleMania.
Too fucking right, I fell in and out of love with it over the last decade due to Vince just running WWE into the ground.....AEW came along and satiated me at times, but it just wasn't the same for me.......But as HHH got more and more power and influence, we got to see glimpses of a possible new era......but Vince would swoop in and go "Not today.....not on my watch" But now we can finally see change......proper change.
It’s been 3 and a half years for samantha Irvin to announce the new undisputed champion, we all knew she started crying when cody won. Dusty Rhodes looking down from heaven celebrating and crying tears of joy for cody. Congratulations to new champions: Damian Priest, Bayley, and Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes win means even more when you consider history. 50 years ago in 1974, Cody’s father Dusty Rhodes who had been a heel in Florida, turned face thus creating the American Dream in maybe the first big money angle that changed wrestling history. 45 years ago in 1979, Dusty wins the NWA World Championship against Harley Race.
That was a freaking great match I knew Cena was coming but The Undertaker that was shocking that ending was epic & emotional congratulations to the new WWE Universal champion The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes.
I know and Dude threw his chair across the room after Roman lost, somebody had anger management issues. I'm a 40 years wrestling fan and I've never taken it so seriously I broke something over the end of a match, though I have broken out my rather extensive collection of curse words.
Truly a feel good moment and the fact that Bruce, Nick, and Hunter got Cody the same watch Dusty pawned off to send him to acting school as gift is just incredible
@CostcoW7not only that but pro wrestling is cinema. Storytelling on a stage which is a ring. So it's characters and a story. So him throwing a fit is... Wow.
I remember working summerslam 2018 at the barclay center in NYC with my EDC dog. the entire WWE roster are a bunch of down to earth people. I had the honor and privilege of meeting Michael Cole. Coolest commentator out there. But tonight, The salt is in the air for all the tribal chief loyalist. his time was done and they were not going to let him break the longest record in WWE history. it was time to go.
Even though we are Cody crybabies, we still respect what Roman has given us for four years. Absolutely incredible. Thank you Roman and congrats to Cody.
Before I even noticed the cutout of Roman or the T shirt, I noticed that he was Polynesian and was like yep, he's definitely gonna be the one rooting for Roman💀💀💀💀
Guys, it's the greatest Wrestlmania ever and i watched this great match this morning in my country Algeria at 3 a.m and i couldn't get myself from crying congratulations Cody you deserve it.
People gotta realize that he’s been champion since 2020 while also still battling with leukemia cause he’s gonna have to deal with it his whole life with still having to take medications. Him losing the title had to happen eventually, Roman literally beaten pretty much everyone that generally deserves a world title opportunity, Cody was the right choice. Roman deserves a long extended break.
I know WWE is unpredictable but the fact that Cody is on all of the posters for future PPV I knew he was winning. But man they still got me walking up and down 😂😂😂😂😂
He's not only the cover star of the WWE 2K24 video game, he's the character that the game defaults to when you pick which wrestler you want to play as. That's actually a pretty big deal and, believe it or not, one of the first signs to me that yep, he's probably gonna win. :)
There was that thought that kept creeping into the back of my head though "Don't tell me Roman is going to win this". I just felt something was off at times in the match.......But I'm glad I was wrong.
The reactions and the moment still almost brings a tear to my eyes .... I feel like the guy that said in those bleachers one day ..."its still real to me damn it" ... Its like Jimmy V's last speech .... Such a great memory and moment of my life
Aren't y'all bored of the same bland babyface being the face of WWE. Cena's reign of horror lasted longer than Roman's title run and you dolts are ready for another ten years of Super Cody Cena????!?
Awesome genuine reactions, for my first time watching your channel. I have seen every Wrestlemania since the very first one when i was almost 7 years old and now 40 years later, when I'm almost 47. Ill give you a little insight behind the curtain. Whenever you have seen the referee Charles Robinson referee a championship match, the title has changed hands. So when i saw him ref Cody vs roman, i knew from the start of the match that Cody was gonna win it. That's coming from watching Wrestlemania all these years and i knew something special and awesome was gonna happen. For those just getting into their groove watching Wrestlemania, i hope you enjoy the journey WWE takes you on from here on out, cause with Triple H in charge, i promise you, he's just getting started. Hope you guys have a great day!! God Bless.
I loveJakeTV72 losing his mind! Roman has been champion for the last 4 fucking years, "This cant be it, this cant be it!" and he throws his chair and shows his ass crack! Freakin gold!
This right here is why I’ve loved wrestling for 30 years. Since 1994. This was absolutely incredible in the stadium. First time in any arena where the ENTIRE building was shaking.
