It can still be a bad event? You can't just make something unaccountable for any criticism just because its a smaller version of something else. Like, I get the gameplay being the way it was because it was a mini event, but Doom being defeated that easily was very strange and unfitting after he was implied to have beaten Galactus. And no, it being a mini event before a bigger event doesn't excuse it, because this implies that the bigger event will either suddenly make Doom competent, or keep him at this lame level..
