It's Day 5 of progression in The Omega Protocol (Ultimate) (TOP) and a small amount of progress has been made in Phase 5, with the acknowledgment of dynamis being a buff (?) and seeing the next set of trios in that phase. The World Race for Charity stream on MogTalk beat their previous record Twitch hype train, keep watching to see how far they got! We also discover that flares do very little damage. Great job, FF14 battle designers! (waits for it to get patched)

I love the lead up to omega getting access to dynamis. The entire 4th phase is just him getting more and more frustrated that you're kicking his ass. "Defeat... unnacepatable" "Stuctural limits of chassis exceeded... Disregard. Objective incomplete." "Structural Failure imminent... Disregard! Objective Incomplete!"

That was a mistranslation, what they said is they don't intend future ultimates to be hardER than dsr, not that they wouldn't be as hard. They also said difficulty is subjective, so future fights might be deemed as harder regardless by the community, especially when it's a different type of difficulty.

Now hear me out.. since almost all of them are stuck at the same percentage... what If that dynamis thing is not supposed to happen? Or at least not on the boss but yourself. What If its like UwU prog all over again?

Nope, you saw it in the first clip they already got past it. Also the final form and the end cutscenes are already leaked, so we know that this is the right route

Dont even need the leak, the fight would be too short to end now. And no way they would add a buff that wouldnt be used. Now the true question is how it will be used for a later mechanic

I love how groups have that one person yelling shut up shut up shut up..... When everyone's dead. Like what's gonna happen? You gonna listen for the next mechanic?

Well, yeah kinda. You are at a point in the fight where you only have one chance to get new information every half hour or so, maybe more, so when you do have that chance you want to be laser-focused on what’s happening. You want to be able to figure out whether there’s something you can still glean (like the Quickening Dynamis buff they noticed) and if someone is talking off-topic and doesn’t let you use the time effectively, it’s wasting a *super* precious resource, which is information and the time to gather it

Dynamis was just some make believe Disney Princess stuff the writer invented because they’d made a bigger story than she was capable of finishing. They shouldn’t double down on it, better to just pretend Endwalker didn’t happen and focus on future.
