@@TheGeekBox You could feel the anguish and sadness behind the statement, yet you could also feel the dertermination to not let Bray's legacy amount to a certain level. Brilliant promo from Bo/Taylor.
Oh absolutely. Wasn't too sure when they first announced it with the documentary as thr Uncle Howdy character was still a bit hollow but now...just wow
In an era of internet stars and no one really having a "character" pulling off any gimmick is damn near impossible. Gone are the days of dead men and heartbreakers. But the Rotunda family, man, they kill it. I've never felt something so strong for someone I've never even met, but, god damn I miss Bray.
And they actually managed to do it without insulting the viewers' intelligence. By being honest and saying right up front "Yeah this is what we're doing. We're going there."
Except that wasn't what they were doing. All it did is showed WWE knew that criticism was coming and they were going to explain why it isn't what the critics think.
@@chriskay1449 yeah they cut them off before the smarks could really get rolling and address the muppets already saying it. Wwe is aware of what people are going to do, this was a great way of bringing it to light the right way I feel
This was cinema right here! Bo Dallas talking to Uncle Howdy in the Firefly Fun House was truly spectacular. I seen a comment saying it gives off Norman Osborn and Green Goblin vibes. I totally see it.
Never gets old seeing people claim everything that's halfway decent in pro wrestling is "cinema." Makes you think these people have never actually seen a good movie before.
One of my favorite parts about this whole Wyatt Sick6 stable is the minimalistic music the segments with them begin with. The single opening note of Bray's last entrance theme on loop. *chef's kiss*.
Dude, just when I think you can't get any better, I really appreciate everything you do, I'll say this, Bray's passing really hurt a lot of people, myself included, and to see such disrespect just sucks, I know that's how the iwc is and shit but, since he died, you have been one of the main channels helping to honor him and his legacy, I just can't thank you enough... Sappy shit aside, this segment was absolutely amazing the way Taylor turned his sadness and raw emotion and grief into a weapon was absolutely incredible, this keeps blowing me away at how good it is
This Wyatt Sicks with Uncle Howdy is gonna go places we aren't gonna see coming. This was so good by Taylor/Bo Dallas. Windham looking down so happy and proud right now.
"How did it feel when your brother died?" That question, and his answer, changed everything for me. It went from a potentially spooky/supernatural gimmick to something *real*. And if you've ever lost someone as important as Bray was to Bo, you could relate. It fucking hurt, to be honest. But they are approaching this the right way... and it gives me hope it will turn out better than some of Bray's stories did.
Bo just executed the most believable, credible, nuanced, emotional, pure acting chops that has ever been showcased on WWE television! I cant believe that Bray wasnt here to see it, but then again, with Bray still here would we ever get to see this side of Bo? Its a morbid thought, but I think that living up to this legacy is pushing Bo to deliver the most real performance that he can. Even with the funhouse characters & the smoke, this is the realest thing I’ve seen in WWE. Bravo Taylor & HHH, This was immaculate!
You know the other amazing thing about the promo, they addressed the criticism of "ok now what" and "why" of both the real life and story aspects. They told us why they're doing it as in Taylor & HHH but also why the wyatt sicks is doing it. Simultaneously. Super meta.
Fantastic stuff from WWE. Beautifully written and shot. Most importantly they didn’t cave or change their direction for online critics. Papa H is gonna tell his bangers.
Bray Wyatt aka Windham Rotunda’s death is still fresh on all our minds and it was incredibly brave of Bo Dallas aka Taylor Rotunda his brother to be open and talk about his feelings, you can tell there was a lot of authenticity in what he was saying! Keep your brother’s legacy alive Taylor!
I feel Windham would've been happy to still be part of this story in spirit. It started with him and should have a mention of Bray each time the Wyatts show
One of the most emotional and hardest segment ever. On one hand it's like a therapy session in a continuing storyline with Wyatt 6, but on the other hand it's like a confession from Taylor, that he is telling from the bottom of his heart. And with every repeat from other streamers it's getting hard to watch without tears.
That may be (in my personal opinion) the best segment WWE has ever had. I sobbed at the real grief of Taylor, and felt angry with him that Bray was taken so soon. But the way it was used to further a storyline that has the potential to genuinely change the entire industry got me so excited to see what happens next
That segment was amazing, Wheezy is absolutely right. I think Windham is smiling up there, knowing his baby bro is ready to shine just like he once did. Windham would've been so proud of not just Bo, but the production crew, the editors, Michael Cole. Everyone who was involved in this knew it had to be special and remarkable. I'm still in awe of everything in that segment.
This was UNBELIEVABLE. You don't even have to be a wrestling fan or had been watching wrestling at all to tap into this. This was giving EVERYTHING we ever wanted. Cook on Taylor. RIP Bray
I think Pat was going to be there but he had a real death the day before; Condolences to him and his family! This was real life, in my opinion! Taylor (Bo) spoke from the heart and I don't think they could have made this any poignant and direct... this was brilliant! Windham's watching this and beaming from ear to ear... RIP Windham/Bray!
If Bo doesn’t get at least an Emmy nod for this I could riot. If that wasn’t the realest performance on television this year so far, I have no clue what is.
Bray nailed the split personality and Bo is now killing it too, also Uncle Howdy's new look with the dreads and the "new fiend" jacket makes him kinda look like a spiritual representation of Bray and i love it
Raw, emotional, real...words that definetley explain this promo. Taylor Rotunda fuckin cooked during this promo. You could hear the pain in his voice, this truly was one of the absolute best promos of the year, and my faith in the Wyatt Sick6 increased ten fold this week. I am so ready to see where this all goes. It was the highlight of the night, and its great to see that this group wont be truly supernatural afterall. Let them cook, this shit is going to be 🔥.
I wasn't even regularly watching when Bray and the Wyatt Family was going on and this touched me deeply. I cried just because I know what that grief feels like.
On that night, Taylor, not Bo Dallas, bared his soul to the world, & we felt his pain, his sorrow & his anger. I’ve NEVER cried about anything since my mother’s passing, but this…😭😭😭😭
I can't remember the last time a promo had me this uncomfortable, but in a way where I wanted to see more. The feeling of NEEDING to know what happens next. I don't know how else to explain it.
This was the single most groundbreaking work by a WWE superstar and suddenly Wyatt Sicks has become must see storytelling ❤ Well done on this long video
This promo was everything I ever wanted and more. Bray Wyatt and even Brodie Lee will be watching on and smiling knowing the Wyatt Family legacy is in safe hands.
WWE has been amazing when they tell one story very well. They're telling multiple great stories and I feel comfortable claiming that they are operating on a level that I don't think I've seen any wrestling company _ever_ at creatively.
@@TheGeekBoxup until this point, I’d never really heard Bo speak in his normal voice. Definitely caught me off guard with how much of a resemblance there is!
@@TheGeekBoxi had a similar sort of feeling lol! It still makes me think Brock Lesnar puts on his high pitch voice, I’m hoping one day he will become a real boy. 😂
Also something I'd like to point out that I don't think a lot of people realize. Have any of you listened to the lyrics to the theme Bray had before he passed away? It's called Shatter and it's by Code Orange. Listen to or look up those lyrics and it will make you cry. It made me cry. Also I'd like to add on that this is the theme song that the Wyatt Sicks are using as their theme song
I still can't believe how heartfelt and chilling this promo was, only someone feeling the loss he is could have pulled this off. It's insane how much Taylor (Bo) sounds like Windham. this gives me chills.
I'm sorry but if anyone has a go at any reactor for feeling emotional in such an emotional promo they don't belong here. Truly an incredible piece of cinema really.
Man... They're really going there, huh? Not that I wouldn't want it that way, it just threw me off guard with how it was presented... I expected something of that nature due to being heavily invested in the pre-debut QR codes and scanning them to uncover their contents, but dude... I didn't expect something THIS heartwrenching Humanizing the character and grounding the story itself in reality was indeed the way to go, can't wait for next week
Yeah it got me too, when he started the questions I was stunned but so happy now. No gimmicky rubbish, just heart felt walking the path Bray left behind and add Taylors own magic to it
And with this one promo, you have established what the Wyatt Sicks is all about: these are people grieving over Bray's death, lost in sorrow and rage. And they will unleash all that sorrow and rage on others to try to fill the hole that Bray left in their hearts and their souls, guided by the spirits of the Firefly Funhouse. They have wholly given themselves over to their darkest selves. I am beyond excited to see this story play out.
How Bray once said, He's got the whole World eating out of his hands. Through this Promo Uncle Howdy and Bo Dallas both Honored Bray with This Promo but at the same time. Bray still has all of us still eating out of his hands even in Death. Through Brays Brother Bo, His honor and his legacy lives on
Them even addressing the death of Bray Wyatt in this story is hella ballsy. I genuinely don't know where we're going with this, or who will be their first program, but I will definitely keep watching. Props to Bo Dallas for taking on this uneasy task of completing this without Bray.
" Wrestling is not a love story, it's a Fairy Tale for masochists. A comedy for people who criticize punchlines. A fantasy most can't understand, a spectacle no one can deny. Lines are blurred. Heroes are villains. Budgets are cut. Business is business. But it can also be a land where Dead men walk. Where Honor makes you Elite. Where Demons run for office. And Rock bottom is a reason to rejoice. WOOOOO! It's an escape. A reason to point the blame at anyone but yourself for 2-3 hours. An excuse to be a kid again, and nothing matters except the moment we are in. Wrestling is not a love story, it's much more. It's hope. And in a world surrounded in hate, greed, and violence, a world where closure may never come. We all know a place that has hot and cold hope on tap. For better or for worse. -Windham Rotunda
Totally understand what you're saying, sorry to hear your loss. I can't imagine myself to lose a sibling but that you can speak openly about it shows strength of character. I'm sure he's carrying the same pride onto you as Bray will be for Taylor. Be well and thank you for watching
@dominickskinner407 it's what we do, support and uplift each other. Totally agree with Geek here. Shows true sense of strength and I hope you are on your healing journey 🙏
It was a very hard-hitting, sobering video and one that is going to create very clear ‘faces’ and ‘heels’ online. Even after this did such a job of humanising this group (inasmuch as it can be). By that I mean those veterans and their most ardent fans who opposed this are going to come across as heartless should they maintain their position and criticise this. It even directly spoke to one veteran and his co-host who reviewed last week and said they rather hoped the Firefly Funhouse world and supernatural elements would disappear after Bray Wyatt’s death (as sad as his passing was).
