StreamYard and presentations using one monitor can be challenging. In this video I show how it can be done. I personally use 5 monitors but I understand that not everyone has this luxury.

I watched your video just in time before a scheduled live broadcast. Was a great relief to present the slides while checking what's going on live, even though I had a single monitor. Thanks for your detailed video which made it possible. Tip: For those who have a ppt file, simply upload it to Google drive and open it with google slides.

I would ask what is your need for the captions? I do not use them personally. We talk about this in our community.

@@MichaelDaniels for embedding videos into an email. I am far more video comfortable than trying to "make my words come alive in the text". If they happen to be checking emails while in the doctor's office or waiting in a boring lineup, I am "2 birds - 1 stone". Connecting with visual and via emails. We are all inundated with emails these days ... trying to make it all work.

Michael maybe you can help me with this, I want to be able to read a kids book doing a warrior kid series, I would like to be on one side reading and the kindle book or pdf of it on the other screen to follow along. Is that something that is possible

So you want your camera and a screen share of the pdf file. Drag the PDF file into an empty browser window. Select screen share and show the file from the computer. Then select Streamyards 5th display choice (you and the screen share). Hope that helps

Thanks for this! Is it possible to ONLY show the presentation in Google Slides? To clarify, I still see the address bar at the top that shows I'm in Google Drive. Is there a way to concentrate the screen share to just show the slides and no address bar?

Since it is doing a screen share of a desktop then no, you cannot remove the taskbar and address bar.
