Great review! As information, on prototype at grade crossings the precast concrete crossing panels come in straight sections that are 8' 6" in length. They are fastened to the ties with bolts. For a grade crossing located in a curve like your installation the curved concrete crossing panels must be special ordered to fit the degree of curvature. Btw the area on inside of the track between the rails is called the gauge side and the outside of the rails is called the field side. Looking forward to part 2!

Hay Daryl another great video! I also have had problems with Woodland Scenic’s painters yellow,white & rail pens! I am now using Chartpak 3:08 3:11 graphic tape (BG6211M 1/16” Matte 09/02/20) yellow! You might want to this a try! Keep up the great work! Love the UNION PACIFIC!

Fill and sand the lines on the road with plastic putty, I also noted some pretty severe sink marks in the road surface. Tamiya makes a good gap putty.

Great review. Those seams on the asphalt system seem like a bit of a show-stopper with the amount of work that'll be needed to hide them; I'm interested how you worked with that. Looking forward to part 2!

Clever solution for bending the curved grade crossing. Curious why you chose the Walthers pavement kit vs all spackling or some other filler.
