Yugyeom's dance background before becoming a kpop trainee was in house and hiphop, he was actually asked to try out for the agency because a dance instructor from the company saw him dance. Yugyeom is actually one of the best freestyle dancers in kpop, he can cooperate with moves from house, hiphop, krumping and more

House is his native dance. If you watch GOT7, you will noticed Yugyeom influence on the group's choreography.

House dancing is in Yugyeom’s blood! If i remember correctly he was scouted at a dance competition and he won 1st place in house dancing before joining jype. His house footwork is so good! 🔥

the choreographers are credited during the freestyle moment of his crew! they’re shown with their names in red. you might have to pause tho cause the font color’s a little bit hard to read against the dark background. :)

Hit the Stage was a breath of fresh air, Kpop used to do these friendly competitions between groups and solo's fairly regularly, but then it all but disappeared from TV. Hit The Stage as to why its so important to have these events again.

He was in a house dance crew before he joined JYPE as a trainee so that was like when he was 10-13 or sth. They went to a lot of underground competitions and got second place. So house dance is his thing for sure :)

YAAAAAAASS I was waiting for this! AOMG teaching a lesson on how to introduce a new artist, I'm SO happy for Yugyeom, he's one the most talented dancers out there. On a side note, it feels so surreal that we went from an empty banner and no MV trailer one day before the comeback to a WHOLE DAMN MV "just" to present the new artist, AOMG I don't know you very well but I already love you. Thanks for your reaction Chris :D

they will be together again for the last part of the year, they haven't disbanded they are just working on their solo activities for a couple of months.

from my limited knowledge, Yugyeom has always specialised in house dance (he displayed this in the dance break in lullaby mv too i believe) but he said he properly learned krumping last year

9:48 yess there’s actually another episode where Yugyeom was in an win it’s the episode 10 just type Yugyeom hit the stage ep 10. *Also they haven’t disbanded nor separated in fact they just dropped a few hours ago a teaser 😂😂 but they’ve said they’re focusing a little bit on solo activities and looking for a way to put music as a group being in different labels. But I guess they found a way because WARNER MUSIC just posted their new trailer. I swear they’re changing the kpop norms lol. As for the choreo it’s probably him and the crew that is dancing with him is actually is his long time crew BODY AND SOUL they’ve been dancing together since several years. Also Yugyeom been a house dancer way before being in GOT7 his footwork and musicality is crazy good lol* saw also that you liked my 1 year comment about Jackson being on HOT BLOOD DANCE CREW and STREET DANCE CHINA definitely to add to your list.

I'm wondering if you've reacted to the battles in Street Dance of China 3. within it as coaches are Yibo (former Maknae of Uniq and battle experience), Jackson, and Lay. Throughout the series you can find Yibo popping and Lay krumping! So good.

I think it would be good for your videos to turn the volume of the music in the beginning down some. It's a bit loud and makes it hard to focus on what you're saying sometimes. Edit: I like how just a few seconds after you said 'battle energy', they started the freestlye/battle circle thing
