Smo Kabong no shit a GT-R would best it. It's a fucking 100k super car you Jackass it better be able to beat it. I'm a Nissan fan all the way but the fact you got so damn butt hurt over a license plate and tried to trash that mans car and talk as if it's a 300hp tuned sti is just childish and i guarantee you don't own anything that could compare to this car. So unless you have a GT-R or something comparable to this 900hp sti sftu and keep it moving.

sean kelly what’s sad is hitting rev limiter 5 seconds after starting an EJ with fucking forged pistons, but I’m sure he’s not going for 60k on them. Doing that daily he’ll be lucky to hit 20k before needing to pull and at least rering his pistons. I hope he sent the block to a reeeeeally good shop.

Yeah. Subaru is known for having a VERY tolerant drivetrain. You can pump 1000hp into it, and it'll still keep going. That's what I call a good drivetrain.

"STD" how original, dude. Also, I think you're wrong. Here's why: weight. R35= 1,740 kg (3,840 lb) VS Subaru = 1,390 kg (3,064.4 lb). Note that this is in stock form. This STI probably weighs closer to 2,700 lb I'd guess.

some friends of mine build subaru's and have a few 9 sec builds under their belt. They were all ej257's fully built with LA sleeved blocks, stock sti crank, manley turbo tuff rods, forged pistons, big turbo rotated setups speed density on e85 and a shit load of boost like around 40psi. They were all still on stock ecu though just open source tuned with romraider/ecuflash and a really good subaru tuner.

That exhaust setup he’s running is extremely restricting even with a single ewg, should consider 3.5” or 4” exhaust. A 60mm ewg thrown on the downpipe will help a little.

My mechanic told me recently that it was common practice for drag racers to paint a straight line down the length of the driveshaft. Once it approaches a full twist, the driveshaft gets replaced. He told me this after I grenaded my front driver's side shaft on my WRX.

This is a pretty neat drag car being 860hp and going 9.6 seconds as is. Also, I'm curious why drag racers are so secretive about their cars and round down math? Us dudes who are sitting in the stands wonder why some of you won't readily say what work's been done to your car and why you do the opposite of what math says and round down time? If I see a time slip of 9.554 seconds, that's a 9.6 second pass to me, not a 9.5 second pass.

They're racers. Why would the give up what they believe might be an advantage? Also a 9.554 is quicker than a 9.6, that's why. But that would usually be called a mid 9 or mid 9.50

TheAfterPein TheAfterPein it’s almost like that saying “a magician never reveals his secrets”. And I’m drag racing every millisecond counts. Ex: let’s say the AMS GTR ran a 7 and their goal was 6. Going from 7 flat to even a 6.998 is a bigggggg deal. That is technically a 6 second car once it dips below 7 (which they actually did get below 7). Yes In math class 6.998 or 9.554 is 7 and 9.6, but when you are racing, you can’t round numbers.

In drag racing it always goes the first number after the decimal point. So 9.554 is a 9.5 if it went 9.499 they would call that the 9.4's and so on. Have a look at top fuel they'll do a 3.999 and they call that a 3 second pass because it's in the 3 second range hey i don't make the rules we just follow along and look for what it really is.

This is my favorite episode. Great job Danger Dan. Its refreshing that this guy is so humble,(license plate lol). He clearly knows how to build a great balanced car. Shout out to Subaru for all the stock parts he's running 9's with. What transmission is in this beast?

These guys have to be dope peddlers, this guy spends like the Rockerfellows everybody else does his work and he cuts the check, must be nice to do if one can afford it back in my day the parts came from the junk yard and you had to make it better and when it worked puit you way ahead of the rest who didn't have the skills and tenacity to make things work, that was the best part it gave you bragging rights, these kids consider themselves builders when all they do is change the oil and spark plugs their setup can be bought by anyone with the money, big deal, spend a hundred grand and bragging it goes fast, no shit, it better for all that doe..

I've never understood why people choose to get vanity plates to make fun of or troll another make/model of a car. At any point and time the car that the plate is referring to could roll up and destroy you from a roll or a dig. Then what?? You gotta change your tag Lol. A local Sti owner has a tag that says EVOFTL and he's gotten beaten by multiple Evo's, now he has standard tags.

I have had a Subaru forester 1997 (automatic) from new, that has been great for all the years with very little to do other than annual services. However, recently I have had a lot of vibration & shuddering on the wheels when making tight turns (left or right). It is difficult to identify which wheels the noise or shudder comes from and I don't feel much through the steering wheel. I have had all difs replace that has reduced the frequency but not always. We hope it isn't the automatic gear box but has anyone got any ideas what to do next.
