I just realized something weird about his DI. At first I thought he was like shoulder bashing the opponent, but if you go frame by frame he actually punches them but its so fast you can't see it, plus the hit stop is when he's pulling back from the punch.

@@fariskhalifa8403 DIs have 2 hits of armor at a 26f startup. First hit of armor delays it by 1 frame. Unless both players hit at the exact same time, the latter who activates will cause a cutscene.
Akuma's muscularmonstrous body is just a gimmick, he can't handle hits LOL! 1 wrong guess against mena's blanka chan corner setup, akuma's gonna cost a round
peak efficiency. nothing captures the prowess of a newly released character other than having it played by AI at the highest level possible. even if you have Tokido vs Daigo on the first try, you won't see much in the first hours. that won't be the case for CPUs.
during the lifetime of 1 Street Fighter game, 3 NRS games (2 Mortal Kombat & 1 Injustice game) come out & die completely. even then no NRS game beats Street Fighter game in terms of tournament participants. just check any year's EVO participants number.
