@@lolnoway In SFV it only countered horizontal kicks, at least some of the time, it was super janky on what it would count as a horizontal kick. And in Zangief's announcement trailer they showed it countering one of Hondas high kicks that would have blown up the counter before. It was just super unreliable in SFV.

Even if it counters more types of kicks it's still not great because it's a kick counter in a street fighter game

I’m so confused about what’s going on there. I guess he can use his dropkick move in the air and it bounces back if he does so, it just looks very strange

@@GemmaBee14 From the animation, it looks like it can be charged in mid-air. Causing a wall bounce if it lands, and likely a lot of recovery frames if it whiffs.

​@@SkyblueStarmoon The big drop kick also seems to have a bigger jump than normal (Either that or him charging it shrinks his hitbox vertically). Which makes me think it can be a hard fireball read that sends your opponent to the corner lol

Yeah! Only thing which I know is asking a lot is if the animation followed which leg Zangief actually caught instead of just always using the right leg for it. Looks amazing still.

@@mrchinee25 I mean yeah but they can't make animations for every situation because it takes time and money, so having just one which represents them all is just a solution to that. So yeah what im trying to say is that in the moment of gameplay u don't focus on stuff like that and at least for me it sells the illusion pretty well, tho i can see why it could bother other people

I'm crazy about the sound design in this game. Glass break and sword sound effects from Marisa's moves, Gief's SPD sounding like a cannon going off every time he lands and Camera flash sound effect at the beginning and end of rounds help create a good immersive experience.

I mean so far it's keeping with the trajectory of even number games being produced great, and odd numbered games produced terribly. 2, 4 , (and hopefully) 6 having great ones. And 1,3,5 having not so great ones. If this game breaks the cycle or not will be a great thing to see.

I hope this game flops

It is cut quite differently. No kiss on the fist plus less emphasis on the parts that were in the level.3.I suppose they didn't want it to run too long and really wanted the ending a certain way.

It’s likely because in her non-CA level 3, it has them pan the camera up to her towering above and kissing her knuckle, instead it goes straight into the charge swing. I thought it a weird omission as well tbf but it’s a great CA regardless
