To avoid what happened to you at the end of that second round, I basically stay on the ground when his super bar is max'd. Love this game so much I have it twice! (PS1, and SFA: Anthologies)
@maxpapic That’s right because you don’t know what’ll happen once his bar is super maxed on account that he’ll use his Max Special Move at anytime when you least expect it or when you let your guard down
That Psycho Crusher in the first round took away like half a life bar but it looked like you were bracing yourself for it the whole time. That's pretty some professional work right there.
@ninjasolidsnake Yeah, for reals. It's probably the most awesome Super in all the Street Fighter Games. Full Screen, instant attack...+ MASSIVE DAMAGE.....Props to Capcom tho!!
Probably why it tends to be a better idea to fight DEFENSIVELY when Bison's super meter is full. (Rushers be damned when they get owned by his Psycho Crusher!)
It's because mike bison (balrog in the us) resembles heavily to real life mike tyson (the psycho that bit another boxers ear off) and at the time capcom didn't want any leagle issues to arise.
Yea I would have to agree, this player seemed to spam that shoryuken too much without waiting for a moment when it would actually hit. His strategy isn't too bad though; I actually find that continuing an offensive without stop is sometimes the best option for Ken. It works glorious against characters like Vega cause if you keep pressuring them through attacking all up in their face, Vega players will never get a chance to jump around all over the place and use their superior range claw attacks.
Shin Bison's is really the coolest i've ever met. Some years i played it. Atm i play alot with bison in capcom vs snk on the cube. I almost won the survival with Bison. The last Akuma had the last word damnit (highest dificulty level).

Zism is from street fighter zero 3, which is the same thing as Aism from street fighter alpha 3. the difference is that zero 3 is in japan, and alpha 3 is everywhere else
How do you get back on your feet in mid air? I've always wondered that. I'm currently trying to kill Bison but I can't get him. Closest I've got was down to like 5% hp on round 3. Then he does his cheap ass super.
well, nice takedown. although he was hard on alpha3 or zero3 the version that you are being using. I used to take him down either with ryu or Akuma, never used ken though. And yea, sometimes with sakura.
hey, I really don't mean to criticize you or anything, but I play Ken as well and I'm nowhere as flexible as you are with Ken's combos. Anyways, I've noticed that you can easily beat Bison by just starting off immediately with a Shoryuken and repeating it everytime he gets up.

Totally different game mechanics. Mortal Kombat doesn't follow a Japanese fighting game engine (quick and strong punch and kick, attack cancelling, super combos, etc.). Mortal Kombat also has very laggy animations. Every move in the 3D games come out too fast, are usually powerful, but recover pathetically slow. It wasn't until MKvDC that they added attack cancelling of some sort. I just hated the jump/crouch/sidestep mechanic. Should have stayed the same as it was in DA through Armageddon.
yeah,bison is a really easy boss Orochi at KOF 97 or Omega Rugal in KOF 2002 too much hard in street fighter alpha 3,the hard matches are Bison with full gauge and Shin gouki at lvl 8 difficulty (at least on my psx)
I've noticed most people good at this game weren't all that good at Mortal Kombat...I will whoop anyone's ass with Ermac, Rain, Noob, and Subzero on MK but will get totally pwned in this game.
dat's 4 Sho. i beat by adjusting my abilities, for example replenishing your special everytime you use it, and the guard or counter plus. whatever it's called me and mah cuz got ken, evil ryu, ryu, and akuma at lv. 31.
i do hold down the select button and it doesnt do anything ive beaten the campaign mode on the hardest difficutly at least 10 times and i still cant hold the select button to get other characters
He does the Crusher almost everytime after just being fully charged and as a follow-up of an air dive or a Scissor Kick. Very predictable. When fighting him with Akuma I always try to avoid it with an Ashura Senkuu. Very stylish :)
meh. Shin Bison isn't that hard since his patterns are so solid. If he crouches, then he throws a fireball. He tends to do Psycho crusher after either a midar dive thing, on reversal, or after teleport sometimes. Seriously though, SHoryuken Shorueken SHoryuken Shoryuken shryuken
Dude if you play SFA3 Max I want to play you. I'm out to become the best Ken SFA3 player in the world and I almost there, I just need to test it against multiple players. Basically I'm sayin you have skills and I want to test mine.
