Wow, after all this time I only just now realized that they referenced that scene in this throwback!! It's so good! The movie really influenced the franchise, you see other references to it, especially throughout the Alpha series.
Charlie Nash, the most Tragic character in SF history, until they brought him back in SFV, but damn, how many times can you beat the game wit someone & ultimately lead to his death every time, sheesh. & I was a Charlie fan more than Guile.
Yeah I kind of wish fighters in fighting games would stay dead as it means more. They can always come back as legacy characters in a "what if" scenario
@@PalaceMidasMusic Mortal Kombat is worst. a Game that requires you to kill your opponent, yet the original 7 Kombatants can make it in EVERY game almost.
1:09:55 will have me stuck reminiscing how I lead Charlie to his death THREE TIMES in all Three SFA games......now I think about it, I forgot Charlie gets tortured & turns into Shadow.
@@PalaceMidasMusic 90s Capcom music slapped. Even when they went the futuristic Jazzy Vibes in SF3. Even Sagat's SF theme had something going for an '88 game.
The best and underrated street fighter game ever to exist, don't know why this game is so slept on and didn't get the same recognization as alpha 3 does
Alpha 2 came out and made Alpha 1 completely obsolete (even retconning it out of the SF timeline aside from one or two endings IIRC), plus Alpha 1 is completely broken and unpolished, that's the main reason it doesn't have a following like Alpha's 2 and 3 does.
@@GenghisConnThr333 The Entire Alpha Series is Broken, Who the Hell said that Alpha 2 and 3 were Balanced? but that's besides the point but in terms of fun aspect, i gotta say warriors dreams has it more than the rest of the Alpha Sequels, not saying that it is bad, i Enjoyed Alpha 2 and 3 as well but as much as i did with Alpha Warriors Dreams? Absolutly not
@@sridrawings4510 Yeah but Alpha 2 and 3 are still less broken, Alpha 1 has two characters that completely dominate the rest of the cast and the game has absolutely no damage scaling whatsoever, say what you want about V-Ism or Custom Combos, Alpha 1 has ToDs all over the place. I'm not saying that Alpha 1 is terrible or anything, it's a guilty pleasure for me and I'd still much rather play it over any post-3rd Strike SF, hell, I'd much rather play it over Alpha 3 (I don't like Alpha 3 at all).
I remember going through the Themes on the PS2 version of Street FIghter Alpha, & for some reason the theme ending is just catchy AF. Can't believe you made it easy to click the song. Thank you.
Although I loved this music, I much prefer the original street fighter 2 music. Hopefully it’ll get a laced vinyl release. Don’t want to buy this alpha release as I just know they’ll release it if I do!
I don't think Alpha 2 was gonna get a whole new soundtrack when SFA was just a Demo game of what would become one of the, if not the best Street Fighter games of all time. It's like going from EP to LP, polishing it
While Alpha 2 is a better game (since it’s basically an upgraded version of this one), I still prefer most of the Alpha 1 tracks over their Alpha 2 counterparts.
