Exactly. Otoh, its an OLD game, so.... voice clip compression is bad here. Damn, I've always wondered what the original SF was like. Gotta love the pixel art.
Actually this is just the result of REALLY bad sound compression combined with a heavy, HEAVY Japanese accent trying to speak English and being terrible at it.
Ok, after knowing how hard this game is, you get mad respect for doing a NO DAMAGE run on this game of all games. Like, the many times a boss can straight 2 hit ko your entire life bar is endless and ridiculous.
Sagat's face before the fight is hilarious, but what really stands out (other than beating a fighting game without getting hit, of course) is how the announcer says England. It's 105% technical limitations, but I can't get over how it seems like he just told you a dirty joke and is waiting for you to get the punchline, like "...all I'm saying is ENGland, get it?"
Your skills seems improving, from days and days, Shadowserg. And it's trully awesome in fact that you managed to beat a fighting arcade game, no damage. It's trully fantastic, bro!
Great playthrough, would have been awesome if in the second round with Sagat you managed to do the canon ending and final hit dragon punched him. Still great nonetheless!
I've just purchased the 30th anniversary edition for nintendo switch, and although I input the moves correctly, neither the hadoken, the tatsumaki, nor the shoriuken seem to work. Anyone knows why? The problem occurs only for SF 1, the other 11 games work just fine
Sagat in the First Street Fighter acts like a jerk. And through out the franchise, Sagat determined to face his rival, Ryu, as he respected him as the strongest fighter.
Japan: Ryu vs Retsu Ryu vs Geki U.S.A.: Ryu vs Joe Ryu vs Mike China: Ryu vs Lee Ryu vs Gen England: Ryu vs Birdie Ryu vs Eagle Thailand: Ryu vs Adon Ryu vs Sagat
2:10 Skilled enough to fight the powerful fighters around the world...Can't break even a single brick😂 #at least you should try break some brick tho...even though that not the part of your content
Man I forgot how bad the synthesized speech was in this game lol. I mean it was probably cool at the time because that kind of thing was rare, but now it sounds like a McDonalds drive through speaker that got shot out by a BB gun.
Originally (and still in Japan), Mike was fully named Mike Bison (M. Bison/Mike Tyson? Yeah I'm sure you got it). But then, the Robin Givens fiasco happened early 90's.
This game needs to be remastered with modern graphics & control. Imagine a Street Fighter 1 redux with HD graphics & throw in some Final Fight & Street Fighter Alpha fighters to the mix. I'm actually surprised Capcom hasn't done this already considering how many versions of part 2 exist. A '90s Street Fighter II vet like me would buy it day one!
In this game only Ryu and Ken are playable depending on which side of the arcade machine/which controller on console you were using. Unless i am misremembering the set up.
