Nice. One thing, though... *Bruce Lee* blocked kicks with his hands, and punches with his feet -- that allowed him to immediately balance defense with an offensive counterattack. That is something overlooked in most attempts to replicate his fighting style. Probably because Enter the Dragon was edited so poorly and often didn't show his feet in many scenes. So, kick, blocked by hands, followed by an answering kick as a counter, that led to indecision and frustration in opponents, who lost their demeanor before losing battles.

When fighting a Boxer, go for the legs. Boxing does not teach any defense against attacks on the legs.

This looks amazing! The stunt choreography is stylised in a way that feels like it is straight out of the video game, while also feeling real enough that the takes are intriguing. Only thing is the dialogue scenes the sound is a little quiet - great work as always!

But it goes to Capcom's making the same mistake, as in other media, of replicating the style and flow, superficial qualities of *Bruce Lee's* fighting style the speed and flash, and POWER, while abandoning its core principles as an art of Defense. I know videogame players, especially MORTAL KOMBAT and KILLER INSTINCT fans, absolutely despise what they call 'turtling', assuming a Defensive stance and waiting for an opening. They consider it 'cheating' somehow, and want to see more ACTION, instead. More hits, strikes, kicks and specials -- as few grapples and blocks as possible, you should stand there and 'take it like a man!', they say, rather than being patient, cagey. I grew up in a time where martial arts films didn't only concentrate on flamboyance, but emphasized that though the 'good guy' WILL get hit from time-to-time, its just part of the ebb and flow of battle _(thanks for showing that much in this clip, at least),_ it is his Defense and Counterattacks that ultimately win the battle __[that's how I played with Fei Long, anyway]_ I'd just like to see that portrayed in cinema again. Crashing waves on the seashore. Water. Be like water, my Friend.

We did have a guest appearance from Ken Masters himself as the director of Fei Long's film! It was one of our many easter eggs! :) Glad you caught it! We love all those games! Those are some interesting picks for fights! We love focusing on the more obscure characters because the main characters have a lot of material on them, so some of those fights could be cool!

SuperSaiyan. Feilong's one inch punch combo was nice. Feilong does the one inch punch made famous by Bruce Lee was used in the " Street Fighter 4" video games as well. His use of it was super epic. You need to check out the Feilong martial arts moves in the SF 4 videos here on RU-vid.

Probably ties into Street Fighter II V when Ken got to play the villain in a Fei Long fight scene but it got scrapped due to Ken punching Fei Long in the face. Ken probably thinks that if he directs and produces it, he can a) get the rematch and b) keep the fight in a film. By the way, if you haven't watched the II V anime series, find a copy and watch it. It was an awesome take on the Street Fighter story.

@@danielhaire6677 I loved that series. Its like what X-Men Evolution was for the X-Men franchise. But except for street fighter. Most of the mains are portayed as teens (Ryu, Cyclops, Chun-Li, Phoenix, etc) except for few (Wolverien and Guile). But still idba solid series the fans can enjoy as its own canon.

I love how Fei Long went for Balrog's legs. That's the best way to bring down a boxer. Since boxing is all about punching, it more often than not leads to them having no defense against leg attacks.

Damn I didnt know you guys were releasing this so soon after the CB film and this one was just as awesome. The fight choreography was just as good and the added CG and speed looked amazing. Do you plan on continuing this story the way you are with CB? I really hope so there are so many characters you could have show up.

Thank you! We definitely want to continue CB!! We're working on a script now! The larger ones take time to turnaround so expect that later on this year or early next year! In the meantime we'll still be releasing short films like this every month with bts content every week!

Lol Hey I reccomend this tv series called Warrior, it's a martial arts crime drama that takes place in the late 1800's and is based on an story Bruce Lee had wanted to make and is a great show with amazing fight scenes worth checking out, some of the best I've ever seen in a tv show. 2 seasons so far with a 3rd being made. And I can't wait to see what you do with Trigun!

This is well done. My main gripe is that Fei Long would've never beaten Balrog, cuz out of all of the Streetfighter characters, Fei Long is the weakest. But I understand that for narrative purposes, the good guy had to win. Otherwise, great job guys.

Bobthebuilder you must be drunk or blunder son. Feilong would kill Balrog in a heart beat. He is all of Bruce Lee's speed, skills and legacy. Feilong would put Balrog in a broken casket left for dead if he showed no mercy. Feilong is someone you don't mess with. Balrog is nothing to Feilong.
