This game and tekken 3 for me are tied for having the best fighting game soundtracks, even to this day I dont think I have heard a whole soundtrack that i enjoy or find every song catchy in its own way and it really says something about the quality of the music of these games
Same here. This is my favorite. Everything is perfect and soothing. Love the menu interface and sounds too. I prefer this over EX 2. That game's sound quality hurts my ear. Lol
This was my Absolute Favorite Street Fighter game!! I was a Beast with every character! I could triple combo anyone with any character!! This game was seriously fun and underated. A lot of people didn't like it because the mechanics were too much like Tekken. But, I totally loved it!
See funny thing is this game came out in 1996 and was designed probably durring 94-95 with taking on and out tekken 1 and 2 .....I mean it wasnt until virtua fighter and then tekken and by that I mean tekken was the last straw in which capcom said oh snaps we better get with the times also...so they hired Arika and had them study Tekken and the early and at the time present 3d fighting games so that they could make a street fighter that could overcome and compete with both early versions of those titles ....but unfortunately instead of playing the innovator they were playing catchup so as soon as street fighter ex came out trust me the year it came out in arcades which was before tekken 3 and durring the time tekken 2 was still a big hit....people in arcades were blown away and in the arcades the first ex game was on fire!...but unfortunately like I said Arika was playing catchup while they were beginning to understand the strengths and weaknesses of their arcade hardware the Sony ZN arcade machine .....Namcom had all ready been running circles with the architecture...and Sega was instead of sticking to the same architecture was evolving their arcade hardware like they always have been being a arcade hardware manufacturer.....Like my bros comment that I'm replying to....this game is underappreciated and is the stepping stone to the modern street fighters we got today.....and like he said I think honestly this is in a league of it's own compared to early tekkens...
@@henryshakelford7064 in other words sfex is supposed to be sf3 but capcom changed their mind in 1997 because of AOF3? and made the sf3 that we know today?
I have to say I love this game. The main reason is just the combos look stylistic and great. In the new Street Fighter Games they just look like the person is being hit with no sense of impact because everything is jiggling all over the place, it loses any of the impact or sense of power and just looks like animations joined together. In this game the combos just looked powerful and awesome.
Daam bro i played this game for over 6 years and i did every combo that i thought that it can be done but here watching your video its so perfect and amazing i never thought that there is player like you respect your lvl is way far from us wich i could play this game against you xd.
your fucking kddding ,, his timing on his combos is fucing terrible ,, landing only half the hotsd ,, im a fucking freak a this game .. no skills braaa
Brutal!. It's one of my favorites Street Fighter games of all times, every character can do amazing combos. I love this trilogy and I still play it so well.
I still dont have a formed opinion about things like "many supers at once" vs "1 super chosen from a list" (like Sf3), or "3 part super meter" vs "whole super bar". But i definitely made up my mind about wanting a future Sf to increase the juggle capacity and add a "guard break" (causing a vulnerable state) mechanic like that one. Sf4 went closer to what i wanted, but the Focus needed to be developer further. It's a shame that it was completely abandoned. Capcom sadly became too conservative since the late 90s, they dont want to experiment.
@Rodrigo Oliveira TAS? If not, dunno what TAZ is... If so, I had wondered about that. There's just some things I see which lead me to believe it's a human on the controller. If it IS TAS, then don't mind me
11:13 i havent seen thr dhalsim from sf4 nor 5, but EX dhalsim is one of the strongest out there. Also, that dragon ball z style special move is awesome, one of his best specials for sure
The camera movements, zoomins and replays are great...and the ost is an all-time classic. Think I read somewhere that hits are actually calculated on the polygons themselves instead of generic 'hit zones'
Please what is the timing of the Akuma infinite on Darun? (32:53 Timestamp in your video) The one where you do slightly spaced away..... cr.mk, mk tatsux2, dive kick, micro step, xN. I watched combo videos including yours of it being executed. Do you remember what timings your programmed the controller to generally? It must be a one or two frame link each loop right? When I watch the videos it looks as if there is no delay anywhere during the air Tatsu rekkas or the dive kick (down+mk air). When I do it with no delay anywhere, Akuma does not have enough time to micro step even a frame or two, he must immediately press cr.mk as soon as he touches the ground or the combo will drop. This method of doing it all fast as possible, only lasts for 1 1/2 loops. So experimenting with different timings, I can get it up to 11 hits and is my record. By doing the tatsu MK rekkas slow, and sorta delaying the dive kick a little, to give me more time to micro step and stay close allowing to loop the infinite. I can do all of Akuma's other infinite's in SFEXPAlpha, just not the one where you have to micro step. The inputs are qcb+mk, qcb+mk , dive kick, right? there's no LK or HK rekkas in the air correct?
Question. So some of the combos use fireballs before the opponent stand up. Are those possibly SOMEHOW cross up fireballs and hit the opponent from behind!? If so that's insane
Omg, I just uploaded an 18 minute Super Streetfighter 2 X combo video, thinking I was the man, and then I see this gigantic beast in my subscriptions! Btw, I credited you in the video, because I liked the way you did slow motion explanations, so I did my own spin on it.
You helped me figure out how to explain complex ideas, while still keeping the video interesting. There were combos I created years ago that I never used, because I didn't know how to show them and have people appreciate what was going on. So thank you very much.
This was my best street fighter version. My CD was scratched couldn't play it anymore and have been trying to look for it ever since. Every time I played a newer version it's nowhere near as good as ex plus alpha
Mr. Shin Tanimoto I watched these videos. Are you playing Street Fighter EX2(Not plus) Sample ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kYW6tmfBjxI.html
This game looks simple with 2D Fighting but it has so many Combos to practice, With infinite combo you can KO your opponent, I Love this game! Thank you!
alternative Bison is CPU Bison. He is more powerful has special abilities and also has a infinite combo. He does Bison's infinite combo in the Bison section of the video. Overall he is a more powerful version of regular Bison.
@@ShinTanimoto thanx so much bro but i have a play station console pls can u tell me on that or i'll make it simple 4 u n me both do a video on play station console doing same trick with ken it will be a huge favour
