AxelPrime146 it's like that music that plays when they're playing the preview for the next episode in a 90's schoolgirl anime "Next time on Tatakae! Sakura-chan: Mysterious rich girl? A new rival appears!" (shing sfx)
Makes me think of summer of 97 when my late brother got the JP version for our modded psx. So many great memories playing this game together. I'm still playing it Martin RIP. And youre still my best rival EVER
I know this is a year later. I’ve been going through a rough patch in my adult life. Nostalgia has been hitting me hard as of late. I absolutely adored this game and this particular track. Brings me back to my teenage years. I don’t know you, but your comment about the good times you had with your brother made me tear up. I hope you are well in life!

Check out "T-square - Welcome to the Rose Garden" It's Japanese Fusion Starter pack, basically the genre that inspired this and many Japanese tracks in the 90s
Dude killed it with that guitar solo @🔄1:47-2:00🔥👍🏾👏🏾(percussionist/drummer/baseline was 🔥too)....not bad for in-game music; this whole game had some lit🔥creative in-game music in it!...the sequel as well👍🏾
Glad max uses the theme, its amazing. I remember it so clearly from when i was a kid playing the game on ps1. One of the best themes in the whole of street fighter.
After 27 years I only realized now how fitting this theme is for Sakura. She first came out in SFA2 which in SF lore takes place in the late 80's, and this theme does sound very 80's.
I remember finding the sheet music for the sax part in 8th grade and I tried so hard to master it. But I couldn't, seeing as I had only been playing for 3 years it was a bit too advanced for me, haha :) I would definitely try again if I still had a saxophone.
i know, it's sad that this gen is just mainly full of generic shooters and other "mature" titles. That's why I still prefer the older gens' games any day.
