Just realized that the composer for the Street Fighter 2 soundtrack is the same one for Kingdom Hearts and Mario and Luigi RPGs. What a lineup to have on a resume.
Guile's theme goes with everything? I love Guile's theme, but no, it does not go with everything, Ken's theme is more motivating. If I were fighting someone and Ken's theme popped into my head, you better believe someone, not me, is going to get their ass kicked.

This should have been Guile's theme. The beginning does sound like Mighty Wings from Top Gun. Yoko Shimomura may have been inspired by that music and probably decided not to use it for Guile for obvious reasons.
@@rambache The beggining does sound, the rest does not. The lower comment from simplylight explains why. So it fits better in ken's stage (with ken's more aggressive AI). Even that the intro sounds like mighty wings, that doesnt mean that it fits better in a aeroplane stage.

Was kinda ironic because I first played world warrior with Ken being my favourite character and theme. Never got to hear the his stage until CE came out because of this.

The first 5-ish seconds of this and the first 5-ish seconds of "Mighty Wings" from Cheap Trick on the Top Gun soundtrack are basically identical short of tempo.
Now this is what I'm talking about. This has FEELING, like you wanna fight. I was listening to the Super NES version before this and it sounded so dull. I don't know how you could like that version unless it was the only one you grew up with.
I've always loved the arcade version over any home port version out there. The music is what always got my attention, especially Ken's stage. Believe this, but I use Ken's stage music to work out.
