"Street Fighter II (ストリートファイターⅡ) is a sub-series in Capcom's Street Fighter franchise of competitive fighting games, originally released as coin-operated arcade games. The Street Fighter II series started with the original Street Fighter II game itself, released in 1991 as a sequel to Capcom's 1987 fighting game Street Fighter.
Street Fighter II - The World Warrior is the first iteration of the Street Fighter II series, released in March 1991. The game features all the basic features that would be carried over to subsequent Street Fighter II editions.
The very first home version produced by Capcom was the SNES version of Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, released on June 10, 1992 in Japan and in July in North America. I don't know if you guys know this or not,but when you beat this game on tha hardest difficulty without losing a round with any character, you'll hear Chun-Li's voice at the end of the game to confirm you won without losing a round..23:30

I'm actually getting emotional watching this. Time flies so fast! While there's other versions of this game, this is the version that I remember. This game was huge, and if people found out you had this game, there would be a crowd at your place,lol!

Bethebest 1 i was neighbors with this veitnamese kid that had this game. This game was so magnetic that even though he would kick the shit out of me every single time, i just couldnt stop playing. By the time i owned it and was good at it he had moved away so i never got my revenge. This is the story of most of us american gen x'ers.

+BeautyPeachii24 Yoga Flame = Half Circle starting from the left + Punch (Shakunetsu Hadouken!) Yoga Fire = Quarter Circle Forward + Punch (HADOUKEN!) Spinning Head first = Jump, then Down +Punch Spinning Feet first = Jump, then Down + Kick

Dhalsim was never my best character. But I managed to finish the game with him. Interestingly, the opponent who gave me the most trouble wasn't Vega or Bison, but Sagat. That said, I knew some people who could use Dhalsim very well.

This is an over simplification. But the general strategy is to throw a fire ball. They have to block it and take some damage or try to jump over it. And when they jump, pull back and hit fierce punch. For some reason, Ken and Ryu seem to go insane against Dhalsim. So you have to keep your guard up.

I play Dhalsim the exact same way. Yoga fire and Roundhouse to keep them pinned. Throws whenever possible. Spinning headbutt and kick for positioning. Maybe there's a totally different way but I don't know it

When I first played this as a kid, I thought Dhalsim was saying, "You're not playing!" and "You're not fired!" but then shortly after, I learned it was "Yoga Flame!" and "Yoga Fire!"

standing medium kick is indeed the best neutral anti jumping tool in the game. Its obnoxious to fight against someone who abuses that button + spamming fire.. unless you can spam faster^^

Because it's a video game. Why are there energy waves like the hadoken, a guy that stretches his limbs and spits fire, and a green guy with electric powers? In all honesty, I think they did that to make movement easier and set a standard for ground and air mechanics, meaning a fighter could aim for high or low attacks in a way. What do you think?

Dude.. Ryu AI is insane when he gets the chance for a low kick.. since the AI can use turbo button, once you get hit by a d1 its done.. it hits you as often as needed to stun you. Same goes with the Ai grabs.. the Ai is a cheater, but easy to read. Ken ai isnt really better.. ken ai has like 50% chance that he starts with a tatsumaki. very easy to counter, but hard to get in since he spamms like a mofo

It depends on how you see it. Yes. Ken is more brutal and comes right after you. But that also leave him more vulnerable to you counter attacking. Ryu is not as aggressive. But he seems to think more about what he does before he does it. (Which can make it harder for you.) Although you might argue that against Ryu, you have time to develop a strategy. Interestingly, it's more than fun to take Ken and Ryu down with T-Hawk. He has a counter for everything they can throw.

+Saito FX On Hardest, the cpu dont have to charge for special moves, such as for sonic boom or flash kick, so guile always would do a flash kick if you jump
